The vibe of the patio was great and super lively. The staff were friendly and attentive. They even brought out a water bowl for our dog. We got the burrata Fresca appetizer which was really good. For my main I got the truffle mushroom ravioli, it was good but got a bit too salty towards the end. I also tried a slice of the pepperoni which was good as well. The patio was really busy when we went so I'd recommend making a reservation in advance!

I come here all the time for dinner and the food never disappoints. I came here for my anniversary with my boyfriend and we enjoyed our meal. We made a reservation for around 7pm, and they took us to the patio outside. I personally prefer being seated indoors, as it can get either too hot or too cold in the winter, but it is quite nice when the weather cooperates. The tables are also personally on the small side so keep that in mind if you're planning to order many appetizers. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and served us quickly. We ordered beef tacos to start. We usually get the fish tacos (which are some of our favourite tacos in the city) but we wanted to try something new. These tacos were great and the sauces were amazing. We then had the Burrata Fresco. It was our first time having this as well and we were quite pleased with it. The cheese was super creamy and went super well with the bread. Usually, the mains take a while to come, especially if you come on a weekend night (this was Father's day weekend, so it took a bit longer than usual) Finally we got to our mains. He had his usual, the Chimichurri steak sandwich, and I got a fish and chips, which i had never tried before. His steak was great and cooked really well. I've had the steak sandwich before as well and it was super well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Do keep in mind they only serve it with one slice of bread, though you can add an additional slice to make it a real sandwich. My fish and chips were good as well. The fish was thickly battered and was a little on the oily side but it wasn't bad. It went great with the truffle fries I ordered. The slaw was purple cabbage, which I think I prefer to the green cabbage kind. The restaurant was kind enough to give us a free cheesecake on the side with a cool flame sparkler for me and my boyfriend's anniversary. It was quite good and we thought is was quite generous of the restaurant. Overall, Taps is a great all rounder place to get food with your family or friends. They serve great pizzas here as well and I haven't had a dish I was disappointed with yet. It is on the pricier side, but if you have the ability to splurge, this is a great place to do so.

Bo*Vine Burgers & Bar, as part of this promotion, had a prix fixe menu. I took my father with me for lunch at this restaurant, and it did not disappoint! Our server was very pleasant and hospitable as she took us to our corner booth. The appetizer did its job, as the House Dip (made up of spinach & mushroom in a heated cheese dip) and the vegetable gyoza were delectable opening bites. For our mains, my father ordered the Buttered Shrimp Roll, which had a bit of a tasty kick! I had their Smash Burger, which had smoked bacon and crispy shallots; it was an epic combination of crunch and cow in my mouth! The environment was very chill during our meal, as multiple TVs were on display to give us viewing options but not totally overwhelming our dining experience. Our meal was capped by a chocolate espresso mousse that sated us fully. Can't wait for our next meal at Bo*Vine, likely before or after a movie in the same plaza!

But it still took 15 minutes before someone came to our table to take our order - so that wasn't the best of starts We ordered the pickled beet salad, baked brie and the pork belly bao buns The salad and bao buns were great but the baked brie was a huge disappointment There was more salad and pear than there was baked brie and we've tasted way way better than what we were served here Given that there are many options around the Cineplex, I don't think I will be back here in a hurry

Menu offerings differ depending on where you're seated. The first time ever having gone, I had learned about their happy hour menu but we were seated in the dining hall and had made reservations there. The restaurant was packed! I really wanted to try their happy hour offerings and was delighted that they allowed us to, given where we were seated. Our server, Sean, was wonderful. He made our dining experience memorable. That night we ordered chili garlic shrimp, furious fries, ahi tuna tataki and received wild mushroom & goat cheese dip on the house. Everything was delicious. We all liked the shrimp, it had a kick. 3/4 liked the fries, since it contains truffle oil and gran padano, one of our party members wasn't a fan. We all enjoyed the dip and I ate the rest of the tuna tataki as part of my meal. In addition to this, we each ordered a meal. One person got the oven roasted chicken, another the prime rib, another the top sirloin and me, the mussels in white cream sauce. I was enjoying my steamed mussels until I was met with granules of sand at the very last bite. Everyone else enjoyed their meal. Another time, went back for steak, salad and escargot. The escargot was tasteless. Neither myself nor the person I was with enjoyed it. Keg makes theirs way better! Good cuts of steaks and flavours. Had the burger on one occasion when a craving struck. Sat at the bar, had a drink and people watched. Will return again. It's a convenient location and drive. Free parking in the lot next to the hotel. A high end restaurant with good service and ambiance. Lighting is at times too dim but adds to the romance, I guess.

First time here and had heard good things about it…read more Great ambiance which regrettably is not the norm for many Indian restaurants across the GTA - but the slight downer was that is was quite noisy which was equally on account of the patrons and the volume of the music We started with the Palak Patta Chaat ( which was as interesting as it was delicious ), Tandoori Veg Momos ( this was disappointing ) and the assorted non veg platter ( which was really good ) We followed this with both the chicken and lamb biryani - which were outstanding, Mishree Ki Dal Makhani ( expectedly heavy but delicious ) and Raita The youngest in our group had the Canadian favourite - yes you guessed right - Butter Chicken and Naan ( Naan Bread to the uninitiated) Overall the food would get 4 stars from me The ambience would get the same rating because only because I thought the place was too loud But I was surprised/disappointed with a few things which I would classify as unforced errors After we were seated, the very thing we were told was that we had the table for an hour and 45 minutes. Whaaaaat? If an establishment is going to charge me a healthy premium for the food then the last thing I want to hear from them as I sit down is when I have to target to leave At the end of the meal, we ordered dessert. While we waited for it, we packed the leftovers and then continued to wait.... After 10 minutes when we asked our server, she admitted that she had forgotten to place the order with the kitchen... we then cancelled desserts Then came the icing on the cake Our server asked us if our friends were celebrating their 10th anniversary. We said that they were. A few minutes later, she came with our bill. We paid and left So the final taste that we left with was not very mishree Come on guys - if you're positioning yourself as a premium eatery, then you raise my expectations .. and where you dropped the ball were on the basics You can and must do better
