Came here after going to Gatsby's for lunch I looked at the menu and it was identical. I asked the bartender what's going on and she smiled and said that the owners of Gatsby's own tiki Joe's now definitely recommend if you're driving around Robin Moses area or Jones Beach for a drink or food or if you're coming off a charter from one of the fishing boats cool little spot to hang out

Drinks were tasteless, but that was not the server' fault. Vanessa (no worries) was great and took it off. Classic Lobster and Beet Salad were excellent.

Solid (only) option in Captree. There are three places to sit - inside with which has its own fast food style menu, and on the patio and upstairs which share a more extensive menu. We visited on a nice afternoon and opted to enjoy the marina views from the patio. We ordered a Cobb Salad and Fish & Chips (they were fine to substitute fries with a salad). The fish batter was fresh and perfectly fried -- so delicious. Insider's Tip: The restaurant is located beyond the toll area and cost $8 when we visited.

This was my first time here and it's a very nice place by the Capri Basin to meet up with family and friends for a drink , snack or to enjoy some music ! There is a very nice patio area with plenty of tables and an outside bar . They do have indoor seating as well but I didn't go inside . We arrived early evening to find the place packed with people enjoying themselves. The dock is right there and there are picnic tables and a playground for the kids . The fast food selections are pretty standard , they are good but nothing to rave about , hence the 3 stars . I had fish and chips $23 , the fish was flaky but it was slightly greasy with more batter then fish ! Also a bit overpriced for the quality of food you are getting . My husband ordered a Caesar Salad, but they didn't have grilled chicken , only breaded chicken but he said it tasted good . Others had the burgers and chicken fingers which they said were also good . The drinks were made well and their Rocket Fuel was a fairly good rendition of the original drink you can get on Ocean Beach ! Yum ! Our service was great, he was attentive , polite and friendly . I wish I could have given them 4 stars as the atmosphere , music , drinks and service were fantastic !

After ordering few beers and appetizers we were constantly asked by our server whether we ready to place another order it was almost borderline harassment to place additional orders. When we did receive the main dishes I was very disappointed in the quality. The chicken panini resembled a chicken burger patty that was both cold and tasteless. Even the cures were cold and slightly soggy. The burgers were slightly better luke warm but cooked and prepared to my guests request. The beers and music made up for a disappointing lunch/dinner. Restaurant featured a full bar along with outside seating overlooking the local marina. Tiki Bar appears to be a local favorite based on the number of customers who were acknowledged by name by the staff and like I said maybe it was an off day for the staff but I'll think I'll stick to the drinks next visit.

We jumped over to the bar right beside and drank some girly drinks before getting the notification our table was ready. As with nearly every establishment in NYC, it is very close quarters in paradise lost. We stood at a table while waiting for seats at the bar to become available. Which, we didn't mind. I could see how this might be a little harder to get a seat for a bigger group if you aren't there before 6. It seemed that once a group got a big table, they camped out. The drinks were strong and creative. Friendly bartenders, good music, and yummy options for bar snacks. Also, the bathroom is a nice touch. Given the hell theming for the bar, the bathroom is a 180 and while using the Lou, you can listen to the bible being recited. Theres also a spooky surprise if you press the button in the bathroom. Speaking of the bathroom, it is at the bottom of some decently narrow stairs. So, try and stay sober enough for stairs or you may fall. Go to this bar. You will have fun.

I mean, I've had bad pina coladas at dive bars, but I expected more from this place. I would say it was very strong, though, so you know what? That's a good thing to be very strong for that price I'm paying. The spam musubi was also a rip-off. You see two here, but each one costs its own $10, so save your money. Eat somewhere else. The stars finally aligned this winter and I had the opportunity to try it out. The vibes are perfect. Fog and bubbles, sea noises and all of the art go together seemlessly. Drinks were great. We had three and left suitably sloshed for the night with no aftereffects. We didn't have too many bites but the food was very good for a bar. I'm excited to go back and I hope we have just as much luck getting in next time.

Cocktails are made with various types of rum and ingredients like grapefruit, maraschino, wormwood amaro, falernum, thyme, Assam tea, spiced lime, allspice, coconut, cucumber, nutmeg, sour orange. All the drinks keep with the tropical, fruity taste with a hint of spice. They are also broken up into categories (dry land = no alcohol, shallows = average amount of alcohol, and abyss (larger amounts of alcohol). The abyss section has some cocktails that are limited to two per customer. They have some bar bites like fried green tomatoes, shrimp toast, broiled oysters, ricotta, dumplings, sliders. I had the French fries with kimchi ranch, which were underwhelming. Bartenders were cool and kept the drinks coming. I got in immediately without an issue or a wait, but it was right after a snowstorm. I've seen some people struggle to get in or have a long wait.

I stopped in for happy hour, and the prices were great. $10 for a frozen Voodoo Juice pouch and $8 for a Penicillin cocktail. You really can't beat that. I also had the bread pudding, but I asked for no pretzels. I'm still trying to understand how pretzels and bread pudding go together, but nonetheless, without them, the bread pudding was really good. The bartender was very attentive and kept checking to make sure we were good. Great service, and the bar was kept clean, which is important to me because I hate sticky bars. Overall, I'll definitely be back again. Good music, great crowd, great service, and great prices.

The RVC is louder with more music blasting to really curate a vibe but I actually like this location a bit more. I do like the selection of happy hour drinks and I'm always happy to eat raw oysters, these are good. However, the rest of the food isn't worth it to me. It tastes very commercial and I feel you're better off splurging at a premium seafood restaurant. For example, I had the gumbo and it was decent but definitely needed more seasoning and more spiciness. It wasn't anything special and I wouldn't get it again. I've also tried calamari and their baked clams and I could do without these as well. I also tried their crab dip (but at the RVC location, menu can vary) and that was not good. I gave voodoo crab a few tries and I don't think it's bad but it's not great either. I would only suggest the happy hour menu + drinks. I haven't tried the seafood boils here (not super interesting to me) but maybe that's worth the money in the end. The service here was great, our waitress was nice and didn't rush us out and checked on us multiple times to make sure we needed anything. For that I can say that despite the misses with some of food the restaurant isn't too bad and is worth about 3 stars.
