Cute place but looks kinda party city tiki and not traditional. But it was cool in there and they did have nice furniture. The guy hammering the ceiling while we snacked was not ok. I ordered a zombie. He did tell me it was batched. Decent flavor but no garnish no mint no twisty straw etc. needs to be more tikified. The orange chicken is as good and crispy. Pricey for what it was but decent. Bartender had knowledge but little personality. They need to figure a few things out but has potential

Great drinks, great atmosphere and good food. Had the General Karaage chicken. Small portion but really freaking good. Got a Zombie mixed drink. A little pricey but a lot of alcohol.

I enjoyed my dinner at Tiki Cove! The place is new and so wasn't crowded at all, but I'm sure it'll gain popularity soon. The menu had so many cool options, and my friend and I got a lot of appetizers to share. The highlight was definitely the Mongolian Beef - it was bursting with flavor and was so tender. For my main, I got the chicken teriyaki, and it was good - I just wish there was more sauce. The sauce came on the side and it was very little, and my friend and I needed to ask for more sauce, and it still didn't feel like enough. It was yummy though! The ambience of the place is incredible - it really feels like an authentic tiki bar with the decor and architecture - even the water cups were a cool design! The service was great - our server was so lovely and got us our food very quickly, and she gave us fun flower necklaces to wear to match the vibe of the place! Overall, a great experience!

I had a fabulous time the scorpion bowl hit the spot and our waiter Terrell was amazing!! Definitely check out this spot!!!

Would give a 3.5 if it let me! Good vibes at this new place downtown! Service was great- very attentive server and we were given leis to wear as we entered which added to the ambiance. For a bar that caters to a nighttime crowd, though, it was very very bright in the whole place even though we were there on 8:30 on a Friday. Drinks were insanely strong, but we liked all of them! They all came in fun glasses that fit the theme. As for the food, we had a mixed experience. Our main thought was MORE SAUCE. Only one of the 4 things we ordered had a sauce with it, but all of dishes could have used a sauce. Or at least having some sauces on the table would have been helpful. We also thought that the portions were small compared to how much we paid. The beef skewers were sooo good, we could have just eaten those. Well seasoned and tender! The scallion pancakes were crispy. The pork dumplings were good- they were flavorful but the proportion of filling to wrapper was off. They were slightly doughy. Very glad we got them pan fried! And the salt and pepper calamari was interesting... portion was very small but the pieces were hugeee. And overly breaded. The calamari tasted fresh though! Overall, we think we would go back for drinks and snacks again but would definitely order differently.

Cool vibe. The music was really good and the food too. Big TVs to watch the game too. Just opened but worth it. The chicken curry noodle dish especially was so good.

terrible got chicken curry it can with veggies now rice and the guy told me it would be a $3 dollar more charge to add rice ridiculous

Saltie Girl was easily one of our favorite meals in Boston…read more We had heard so much about Saltie Girl and knew how popular it was, so we made sure to get a reservation. Even going in the middle of the week, almost every normal lunch time slot was already booked. We managed to snag a 2:45 PM reservation, and when we arrived, it was VERY clear why reservations are a good idea. The place was still packed! The outdoor patio was completely full, but luckily we had booked indoor seating. Honestly, it worked out perfectly. We got to enjoy the beautiful interior and restaurant atmosphere while escaping the Boston humidity. We were warmly greeted and seated right away. Service throughout our meal was friendly, quick, and attentive, especially considering how busy they were. The menu is fairly small, but there was still so much we wanted to try. We started with the Hamachi Tartare, made with yuzu leche de tigre, serrano, Sweety Drop peppers, and macadamia nuts. This was such a refreshing start. Bright, citrusy, slightly spicy, and full of different textures without overpowering the hamachi. Of course, we HAD to order the famous New England Lobster Roll. We opted for the cold version, and it absolutely lived up to our expectations. There was plenty of lobster, and the flavor was fresh and clean without being overly dressed. Definitely one of my favorite lobster rolls from our Boston trip. The Jonah Crab Carbonara was another standout. Spaghetti with crab, corn, chanterelles, pecorino, and preserved lemon made for such an interesting combination. It was rich and comforting, but the preserved lemon helped brighten everything up so it didn't feel too heavy. My partner ordered the Saltie Girl Clam Chowder, made with potatoes, celery, bacon, and fried clams. He could NOT stop talking about it afterward. Out of all the chowders he tried during our trip, this was his favorite. It clearly left an impression because he was still bringing it up later in the trip! Even the warm house-made artisanal bread with sea salt butter deserves a mention. Sometimes bread and butter is just bread and butter...but this was absolutely worth ordering. And because we were in Boston, there was no way we were skipping the freshly shucked oysters. We tried the Unicorn Pink from Damariscotta, Maine, which was medium-large, deep and meaty with a mineral finish. The Rocky Nook from Kingston, Massachusetts was much larger, with a medium brine, silky texture, and buttery-sweet finish. Lastly, the Paine's Creek from Brewster, Massachusetts was smaller with a clean brine and a really nice sweet citrus finish. Trying all three side by side was such a fun way to taste how different each oyster could be. For drinks, we kept things simple with a pint of beer and their Frosé Spritz, which was especially refreshing on a warm and humid afternoon. From start to finish, everything we ordered was delicious. There really wasn't a dish we regretted ordering. If I had to pick the most memorable items, it would be the cold lobster roll for me and the clam chowder for my partner. Those were the dishes we were still talking about afterward. The only downside is that Saltie Girl is clearly very popular, so getting a prime reservation can be difficult. The menu is also on the smaller side, so if you're looking for a massive seafood menu with endless choices, this isn't really that kind of restaurant. But what they do offer feels intentional and very well executed.
