She's been amped to throw a bouquet together in like 20 or 30 seconds, and I've been thoroughly impressed every time at how beautifully she can put together a little bouquet that fast. When I arrived, there was no employee physically present inside the store to assist me. The only way to get assistance was by talking through a camera to the employee, who told me that he was out making a delivery himself. He tried to give me instructions remotely on which flowers I needed to pick up, but he didn't even seem to know what flowers were actually available inside the store. The flowers he was telling me to look for weren't there, which made the whole pickup process even more confusing and frustrating. If an employee had actually been present in the store, this situation could have been handled much more easily. I found this extremely unprofessional. Why is the store being left completely unattended while the employee makes deliveries? Why isn't there another employee available to assist customers and delivery drivers? After I finished picking up my order, a female DoorDash driver came in. I told her that the only way to get help was to speak to the employee through the camera. He began giving her instructions, and she told him, "I don't speak English, only Spanish." He responded with an attitude, "Well, that's no good." I was shocked by the way he spoke to her. Since she couldn't understand his instructions, I stayed and helped her complete the pickup process myself. What happened afterward disgusted me even more. After I finished helping her, the employee started ranting through the camera that she should learn to speak English and making comments about where she came from. There was absolutely no reason to speak about her that way. She was a delivery driver trying to do her job, and instead of showing patience or finding a way to communicate with her, he made degrading comments about her language ability and where she came from. What made the situation even worse was that he wasn't physically present. He was making these comments remotely through a camera, where his face wasn't visible. I hope management reviews the camera/intercom recording from 9/17 between approximately 6:10 and 6:45 PM and identifies the employee who was making deliveries during that time. This behavior needs to be addressed. People should not be humiliated or spoken about this way simply because they don't speak English. The flower shop is located in a small parking lot not too far away from Harbor Boulevard. This flower shop had so many beautiful fresh flowers. There were some arrangements that were already put together, but you can just grab flowers that you want to put together for a custom bouquet. The workers there are so nice with helping to design a perfect bouquet for you and the prices for such quality flowers are worth it. When I arrived this morning it was not at all what I envisioned for my girlfriend and the other flower shop did not follow very specific details.The lily's were yellow and other flowers were orange and it was a nightmare. I called around to have an emergency bouquet put together, and no one had lily's. BY THE GRACE OF GOD, I got ahold of Flowers De Monet and she had the pink lily's I needed. All I said to her was "It's for my girlfriend, she loves pink, I would like it in a vase, and I have no budget." She asked me how soon I needed them and I said as soon as you can. She said "I can have them done in 30 mins." When I arrived she humbly ask "do you like them"? And I couldn't help but relax my whole body in awe at the stunning work she had prepared. I gave her bare minimum details and an unrealistic deadline. She successfully accomplished a breath taking bouquet for 70$ within 30 minutes. Sent a text and asked how they were going to fix this. They said they would pay me and have never heard from the again. When I filed with my bank several days later, I see an $18.00 credit show up. Paid over $200 for them. See photo below. Will never us them again. Flowers should never wilt the next day.
