Thu is AMAZING! I found her through my wedding planner and my planner told me that Thu was The One. She understood the vision right away, was so organized (slideshow deck, etc.) and we just knew we'd be in good, professional hands. The flowers were not only beautifully designed, but also the most beautiful flowers I've ever seen (even staff at my venue was telling guests that these flowers were unreal). It was just so easy to work with her and I'll look at the pictures of my flowers longingly everyday. She was flexible when I had some changes/new ideas, and also provided the candles/tablescape materials making this a seamless experience for something that couldn't extremely stressful. read more

Choosing Thu as my florist was one of the best decisions I made planning my wedding. Something me and my husband actually both agreed on. She does not disappoint! We spent months planning, changing, and creating my dream wedding. It was so fun, she's so nice and easy to talk to it felt as if I was planning my wedding with someone I knew my whole life. Thu is talented and knows exactly what she is doing. For my situation, she made everything work and let me tell you, what I initially planned and wanted was totally different then what I agreed on in the end. IT WAS EVEN BETTER WITH THU'S GUIDANCE. She knows exactly what she's doing and I trusted her 100%! I had MANY last minute items (bridezilla moments) and she came through with every one of them. My wedding was more beautiful than I could ever imagine. I probably cried more at my first look of the venue then anything else that day to be honest. LOL I just love her! Hands down I would recommend her to everyone needing a florist. The entire process went so smooth and results were AMAZING. The compliments I received were endless!!! Thu was so amazing in helping me plan my event that I was actually sad that it's over. I'm actually finding excuses to throw a party so I can work with her again. She understands you and works around your wants and needs. The best part, even if you don't have the budget - she is able to never make your night look tacky (my worst fear). For my wedding stage she created something completely different which I absolutely love!! Her effort is beyond belief putting in consideration that she meets with brides all the time yet she is able to make me feel special. read more

My wife and I are so grateful and happy that we chose Lace & Stems to be our floral specialist for our wedding. She has many years in the industry and I would recommend you take a look at her website, www.laceandstems.com, to get a better understanding of her special skill set. We loved working with Thu and the entire crew because Thu took the time to understand our needs, gave us everything we wanted and, best of all, she did it all within our budget. I especially love her classy and timeless style. Her ideas and vision with flowers, table cloths, center pieces, sweetheart table, and all the little wedding details were incredible. She's a real professional and artist when it comes to floral and wedding design. I liked it when she took care of every little detail, knew exactly how everything went with each other, and is a wealth of knowledge when it came to making our dream wedding come true! Being a good florist is really hard to do, Lace&Stems did a real fantastic job! I had complete trust that Thu was going to present a great product and she completely blew me away. My wife and I wanted to be unique in our design and she delivered 100%! One of the best things about Lace&Stems is that they work very close with other high quality vendors, so Thu had the ability to introduce us to her entire vendor family. She really hooked us up with everything from , DJ, MC, draping, wedding coordinator, photographer/ videographer, catering, you name it she knows the best in the business. Thu just made everything so easy and seamless. she took the stress completely away and, even on wedding day, she had everything set up on time and broken down, on time too. Thu, Mai and I are so PROUD of what you've accomplished with this business! We can tell this is your real passion and you're bringing tremendous value in a very competitive industry. Keep up the great work and we hope you continue growing! Please never give up this gift you're blessed with. I can write for hours about how much we love you and how much we appreciate what you did for us on our big day, and pictures speak louder then any words I can say. Enjoy! read more

Lace & Stems was introduced to me by my wedding planner, Sophia Kim Park, from Spark Event Consulting (https://www.sparkeventconsulting.com/). After stalking Lace & Stems Instagram (laceandstems), I immediately knew Thu would be the perfect florist for my wedding. She has a very modern yet classic aesthetic to her floral designs. During our initial meeting, I showed her pictures of what we were looking for and she was able to give me a quote that fit my budget. Thu is super sweet and suggested ways we could save money without having to cut too much of the flowers out. Fast forward many months later and Thu had graciously created an acrylic structure with white flowers adorning the top for our ceremony. Unfortunately, our wedding day had the most ridiculous wind and she was able to battle the elements; even with the crazy wind, everything held up and the structure remained secure throughout our ceremony. It's all in the details and let me tell you Thu has a great eye for detail. Every thing from the girls' bouquets to the flower girls' head pieces, everything was made with love and detail. Even the groomsmen's boutonnieres were exquisite. My bridal bouquet was everything that I could have hoped and dreamed for and more. The reception arrangements she created were unique and so beautiful; all my guests thoroughly enjoyed all the arrangements and made sure to let me know that my florist did an awesome job. My eyes literally filled with tears when I saw my reception sweetheart table because it was a piece of art. Thu was amazing to work with, not super pushy like some wedding vendors, and best of all she can execute your dream wedding. Thu and Lace & Stems team you guys literally made the best day of my life happen and Jay and I are so grateful to have found you! If you are in need of a wedding florist Lace & Stems will deliver the best floral designs you have ever seen. I wish you continued success with many more happy couples! Thank you so much! read more

Lace and Stems designed our modern elegant Hawaiian themed DREAM wedding in Costa Mesa, California at the Avenue of the Arts hotel. I could not be any more honest when I say Thu is a floral designer genius. She designed our unique triangle ceremony structure, our spectacular grand ballroom, all personal wedding party flowers including the most adorable baby wagon for our 7-month-old ring bearer. Every flower and stem turned out perfectly amazing, fresh and breathtaking down to every detail - she only brought out the absolute best. At our initial consultation, Thu already had a vision for our event and venue. Everything written on her website laceandstems.com is true to the T. With her passion and degree in Floral Design, she put together the most beautiful gorgeous floral setup beyond anything I could have ever imagined. All our family and friends were blown away by all the flowers at our wedding. Not only does Lace & Stems provide all the flowers for your event, they also have complimenting options in rentals! For our wedding, they brought in all the table linens, chairs, kings tables, sweetheart table, cake stand, and escort wall. We completely trusted Lace and Stems to make our wedding and on the big day, our first look at everything literally melted my heart. I am forever grateful she was a part of our once in a lifetime event that we'll cherish forever. read more

Wow, what can I say?? It has been a pleasure working with Thu and her team on our floral needs for our wedding. I'll admit, I knew nothing when it came flowers for weddings, especially being that I was the groom and all lol... My wife took care of the details, of course, but I can easily say that the Lace & Stems crew definitely made the process very comforting and stress free for the both of us. Thu will work with you to get an idea of your vision while also giving you her professional suggestions if you ask. And if you're anything like us, those suggestions were very welcomed! Trust. Most importantly, she will work within your budget. Everything from our alter pieces, table center pieces, boutonnieres, bouquets etc. was perfect and was set up on TIME! Turned out better than we had ever hoped and it completely exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended. Thanks Thu and Lace & Stems! read more

Hiring Thu was one of the best decisions my husband and I made for our wedding. Our dream wedding would not have come true if it wasn't for Thu and her team. If I can give them 10 stars I would!! I first found lace and stems through Instagram and loved her work. She has such a classic, beautiful, modern, and unique style that aligned with my taste. During our first meeting, we instantly clicked. Thu is such a sweet, hilarious, and caring person. Throughout the whole wedding planning process, Thu was so prompt with her responses and was so easy to work with. I had a vision of having a pharmacy theme escort wall and Thu and her team built the wall just for us! It turned out so beautiful. For my ceremony site, we ran into a little issue with draping the gigantic gazebo at The Westin South Coast Plaza Hotel, but Thu handled it all for me and I didn't have to stress about it at all. I rented all my chairs, linens, charger plates, and sweetheart table with lace and stems. All the floral arrangements that she did for our wedding was absolutely breathtaking. All my family and friends still talk about it to this day. I still remember the moment when I first saw our ballroom and happy tears just filled my eyes. It's been a week now since my wedding and I can still feel the happiness from that day. My fairytale wedding came true and one big reason was because of Thu. I absolutely and highly recommend hiring lace and stems for ANY special occasions! read more

Thu from Lace & Stems is a true artist at her craft. She has made my wedding planning journey an absolute pleasure. Thu provided me with my ceremony and reception florals, as well as linen, table, and other rentals. She is an expert and a true professional. My wedding ceremony and reception were held in the same ballroom and she executed the room flip seamlessly during cocktail hour. She was a vital part of the wedding team and created my dream wedding out of what seems like thin air. She was able to sift through the countless photos that I sent her, which were paired with comments like, "I like this but not this, and can we do this but not that." And just like that she was able to create the wedding florals of my dreams. I was amazed by her ability to create the arrangements that I had envisioned when I had failed to provide a photo of exactly what I wanted. Her opinion and perspective on linen, tableware, and flowers goes without say and I am so happy that I was able to book her as my florist. I will always remember the first look at the ballroom and the absolute joy that I felt seeing everything come to fruition. I highly recommend booking Thu for your wedding or any event that you may be planning. read more
