WILTED FLOWERS THE NEXT DAY. Had a Mothers Day delivery on Saturday the 10th and by the next day some of the flowers were wilted. Called the shop and was told to pull them out and cut the stems and put them in water and reinsert them afterwards. Afterwards never came. They only got worse. Sent a text and asked how they were going to fix this. They said they would pay me and have never heard from the again. When I filed with my bank several days later, I see an $18.00 credit show up. Placed a special order for a lei a week ago. Apparently owner did not write down our name and number despite providing it. Turns out she could not fulfill the request (and had no ways of telling us obviously). I showed up on the day promised, i was made to feel like an idiot saying "we don't do that", on two occasions i was made to feel like i made a mistake. Then she remembered, and hardly apologized. I'll give more than zero stars as she offered "some roses" (which is not what I'd want and does not make up for the mistake). Well, my child's graduation was today and wanted something specific, now with two hours left, i can't provide what i was asked for. It's one thing to make mistakes...we are all human. I usually don't write yelp reviews for mistakes, but to be treated as poorly as I was today was unjust. Be sure the florist repeats your name and number to you before you hang up, or else a mistake on their part might turn into an emergency on the customer's part and that is truly unfortunate. Much like the other 1 star reviews here, i can affirm that yes, she will give you attitude despite it being an error on her part. Good customer service and professionalism requires the maturity to admit mistakes, but also to treat customers with decency no matter who is at fault. Flower De Monet saved the day!! I had pre ordered flowers from a different flower shop a few days before for my girlfriends birthday. When I arrived this morning it was not at all what I envisioned for my girlfriend and the other flower shop did not follow very specific details.The lily's were yellow and other flowers were orange and it was a nightmare. I called around to have an emergency bouquet put together, and no one had lily's. BY THE GRACE OF GOD, I got ahold of Flowers De Monet and she had the pink lily's I needed. All I said to her was "It's for my girlfriend, she loves pink, I would like it in a vase, and I have no budget." She asked me how soon I needed them and I said as soon as you can. I placed an order on Friday for delivery on Saturday morning to celebrate the birthday of my late best friend who passed away two years ago. On the notes section, I specifically noted that I needed it between 10-11AM because that was when the family and I were going to be at the house (I had to leave for work in the afternoon). I waited until 11 and the flowers haven't been delivered yet. I thought to myself, they must be really busy this morning, maybe I'll give it til 11:30. As the time ticked, there was still no sign of the flowers and I had to leave for work. Before I left, I called the shop and asked the owner what the status of my flower delivery was. She replied in a very condescending tone as if I was in the wrong for asking her when my flowers were going to get delivered. She let me know that she got the order last night and wasn't going to start on it until later, but that it would be delivered sometime later today. I asked her if she saw in the notes section that I needed them between 10AM-11AM and she said that that turnaround time is impossible. I asked her if it was not going to be delivered on time, why did no one call me and let me know? Basic customer service there. Then I asked her what the status of the flower arrangement were. Lo and behold, she hadn't even STARTED MAKING IT YET! I've been in made-to-order retail and when customers put in special timing requests, I do my ABSOLUTE BEST to try to get their order out on time and if I know I can't, I reply and let them know when they could realistically expect it. All I kept getting was, it'll go out today. When I said I needed it an hour ago, she said you can't rush it, you just put in the order last night, there's no way we can send it out at 10AM. I have no problem with the fact that they may have been backed up. But the fact that the arrangements hadn't even been started yet at 12PM and that she was deflecting any and all responsibility of the tardiness of the delivery onto me like it was my fault, is where the problem lies. I had had enough. I told her just get it here as soon as you can then, I would still like the family to receive the sympathy flowers from me, even if I wasn't there to personally hand it to them. I also mentioned that I would definitely be writing a review about this HORRIBLE experience on Yelp. And that is when her complete attitude changed. Once I mentioned that I was going to be giving her a unfavorable review on Yelp and hung up, she called me back 2-3 times without me answering (my phone is always on Do Not Disturb). She leaves a 2 minutes voicemail and I don't even waste my time playing her afterthought apologies. I finally call her back and asked her what she called me for. She said she would be getting the flowers out and was making the arrangement as we spoke. I said that's great, deliver them as soon as possible. Then she had the audacity to tell me I shouldn't write a negative Yelp review. Hung up and now I'm here writing this review. If you're looking for an honest, sincere, and caring florist - don't come here for delivery or in person. The owner was rude and not accepting of the responsibility she had to the customer. She didn't honor or even take into consideration a special note I left for the timing of the delivery and made me feel at fault for requesting it at that time. She always answers her phone, even when she's closed, and has even offered to come into the shop after business hours or when she's closed, to get me flowers that I need last-minute. I am very particular about my flowers and it is important to me to have my roses wired and individually tubed so they last even longer than they normally would. The company I work for ordered flowers from Flowers de Monet last week. The flowers were horrid. I have been in the floral industry for 17 years and have never seen such lazy and dishonest work. We were over charged for what we received. The old roses were wired so they wouldn't fall over. There were dead stock shoved in underneath other flowers to make the arrangements seem more full. Cheap alstroemeria and asters were used. We were charged $1000 for something that shouldn't have been over $400. Needless to say we will NEVER be using Nasrin's services again. read more
