I chose Pink Daffodil based on the great reviews and pictures on instagram (Beth is one BUSY lady) and loved how flexible and reasonable this florist is. She will be doing a small get together one day and a lavish, luxury wedding the next dripping with extravagant flower arrangements. She can really do it all. Beth at The Pink Daffodil is just amazing! She's so bubbly but down to earth. She's patient, calm and knowledgeable. I chose Beth not only for her personality, but also because she listened to what I wanted. Other florists flat out told me there was no way to get the flowers I had fallen in love with (even though I had researched to see if they would be available for my late January wedding). She understood that only my bouquet needed to have purple ranunculus, but she also made sure to find out what I wouldn't mind having as a replacement. She explained the ranunculus might be more expensive, but she would do her best to find them, even suggesting as my wedding drew near flowers I hadn't thought of but that fit with what I wanted. She was so gracious when I showed up with my mom, sister and roommate for a consultation in November. I believe she came in on her day off because it was the weekend my mom was in town. My bouquet and my three bridesmaids' bouquets were perfect! I wish I had had more time to just look at the flowers, but I'm so glad we got photos. She included a toss bouquet and when I was unable to wrangle up a flower girl, she smartly offered to arrange the petals down the aisle before the ceremony. Beth is very thoughtful. Flowers for our daughters wedding were very beautiful. The owner is a great person to work with and very friendly and timely with delivery. The price was great as well, but there were a few things missed that were on my quote...sadly, one that was very important to my daughter (petals down the aisle). We did provide a Power Point with pictures of exactly what we were dreaming of with plenty of notes so nothing would be missed... but this was one of them (not to mention a couple of others). The main thing is that the guests didn't notice. I understand this business is a flurry of last minute details and one that is very hard to do. It could have been someone on the team that didn't execute some of the things that didn't get done...so I suggest to anyone hiring a florist for such a grand event, that they go over the details a day or two before the wedding. This thought did go through my head as I had talked to the owner the day before, but I trusted that she had everything covered. The florist was referred to me by a friend as we had difficulty finding a florist that we felt could execute our dream. This has made it difficult to post a review, although I would hire this vendor again for any event...but suggest that a review of the details are covered a few days prior to the event. This could have easily been a 5 star review had it not been for the few details that were missed. 5 stars aren't enough to describe what an amazing person Beth is. I say person because my husband and I decided on booking Beth after meeting with other florists and leaving with the feeling that our wedding day could go without flowers. She responded to my inquiry immediately and we set up a time to meet right away. Her office is adorable and she was so friendly. We shared ideas and she was very helpful when it came to describing flowers because I definitely didn't know flower names prior to this. We had pretty much decided yes on Beth before she even gave us a quote. Once we did get that quote, we couldn't say no! We felt like we were missing something, that there wasn't a way she was going to give us EVERYTHING we wanted, while other florists were trying to charge us almost double that amount! Day of, she far surpassed my expectations! She met our entire wedding party at two different locations so she could deliver the bouquets and boutonnieres! The flowers were GORGEOUS and everything I wanted! I got a chance to take some before pictures in the reception location and was blown away by how beautiful the table centerpieces were! Seriously, just beautiful! On a side note, I had e-mailed her the week before the wedding asking if I could do something special for my brother who passed away and without hesitation she said yes and gave me ideas of things she has done before. I just wanted to keep it simple with one of the bouquets at the altar to dedicate to him. As my husband and I were pronounced man and wife, we faced our guests and in my brother's empty seat up front was a framed picture of him with a floral arrangement placed around it. Okay, that set off the water works! When I found out it was Beth who went and printed out a picture and made sure I knew he was there, I was floored! We had a really small budget for our wedding and I never thought I'd be able to afford to hire a florist. I thought I was going to have to buy flowers and create the bouquets on my own, which freaked me out because I knew we wouldn't have enough time.
