I have had my haircut here 3 times prior to todays butchering and everytime I was not totally pleased with the cut, but it was only $12 and it was decent enough. Today a younger man cut my hair. He asked how i want it cut and after telling him he tries talking me into leaving the top longer than i wanted, he wanted to use clippers only. I told him 3 times number 2 on sides and back with scissors cut short as possible on top (finger thickness length). So he uses clippers then blow dries the loose hair off me and says ok you are done. The top was way too long he didnt even scissor cut!! So lazy! I had to tell him its way too long and to please blend the transition. So he tells me " i didnt want to go short on your hair"!! Unbelievable. Why even ask, and customers dont care what YOU want!! So he scissor cuts , then quickly half ass blends and It was better so I went to pay. The price now is $15 but they tried charging me $20!! I said no the price on the window says 15, they say ok and i leave without leaving a tip. I normally always tip my hair stylist but this was ridiculous. On top of it all his breathe stank like garlic catshit..gross. I got home and after a shower noticed many uneven areas. Wrote this review, 5mins after i got home. I went here for a quick hair cut cos its close to my house, like 5mins walk. I just wanted a trim cos i already have a short hair. Tiffany did my hair. She was nice, i'll give her that. But she told me she need to wash my hair, easier to cut and said cos my hair is greasy, i told her no need cos i wanna wash it when i go home. She insisted. So i said okay. Then while washing she told me $30 for shampoo and cut. I was surprised, cos $30 for a trim is kinda expensive but it is what it is, told her its fine. After doing the haircut while my hair is still soaking wet cos she rinsed it again, She told me its done. I wasked surprised and I asked if she could dry it cos i walked going there from my house and i dont wanna walk back home with water dripping from my hair. She told me "oh you want dry? Okay i'll dry it" of course i want it dry, never had a haircut that let customer go home with their hair wet, who does that??? She blow dried the roots and thats it. She said "finished". Asked her if she could dry more cos its still wet she told me $5 more for blowdry. The heck???? Im already paying $30 for the service then you want me to pay more cos i want my hair get dried??? Good thing i only had my hair trimmed. Wht if its layered how would i even see if she did a good job cutting the hair? I went in to get my long hair cut. Made an appointment and went in on time. I asked for LONG LAYERS & just ONE inch off. She cuts my hair and then blow drys it not doing anything to it and she shows me but I can't really tell in their lighting . I go home & straighten my hair realizing she chopped my hair up. My hair was past my shoulders , it was to the middle of my back and it's all gone now. I'm making this review a week later not knowing what to do. I'm not sure if I want someone else to fix it bc it will be even shorter . The lady that cut my hair should not work there! This does not even qualify for even 1 star. read more

Stopped by the other day after work, they're under new management so there was a nice discount (: tried doing the dipping powder for the first time and it turned out really nice. The lady was really aggressive and rough. I could understand her and she kept of saying my nails wouldn't turn out good bc I asked for her to shape it skinnier. She also filed them so much the length went down by a lot. And she yelled at me when I didn't wipe my hands with the towel because she never told me to in the first place. I've been coming here for a while as long with my grandmother. we love this place and how nice they are. but I went on march 7th 2020 to get an acrylic gel pedicure and the lady had cut me so deep on my big toe and second toe that it was bleeding even when I got home and showered.that same day I called and spoke to a lady who said the manager would call me back and never did. I got a dipping powder manicure and gel pedicure in one hour. They did an awesome job! I was worried about getting my nails done here because I had gone once before and I wasn't happy with the results of the acrylics and the eyebrow wax :( I had to go elsewhere to get them fixed! My first experience with acrylic nails didn't go so well at another place, so i decided to get a fill in here for the first time. There were 2 ladies who worked on my nails & were both very gentle. At the previous nail salon i went to, the lady was rough on my hands and filed my cuticles to the point where it bled. I love the results but the pricing was a little weird. On the windows it says a fill in was $15 and a full set was $20. I ended up paying $28 which was basically the price of a full set. One of the ladies said that with regular polish, it was $15 but an additional fee was to be paid to remove the gel polish i had. She gave me the option of switching to a gel polish (with an additional charge of $10) and the fee for removing the old gel polish would be free of charge. I came in wanting a trim (which was advertised as $9-$10 for women on the window) and a fill in(which was suppose to be $15)but ended up only walking out with my nails done. I only brought $35 with me expecting to get both done but the fill in costed more than i expected. Apparently it costs more to pick more than 1 color so just a heads up! I picked 3 colors (additional $1 for each color) & gel polish (additional $10). I definitely will be returning to get my nails done but I don't think i will get them done as often. read more

Im only giving them 1 star because Yelp doesn't have the option of 0 stars. My first visit here would also be my last. To start off, my pedicure was a total of 7 minutes long-- if not, less. During the pedicure, the "technician" cut my skin on my big toe very badly, which she explained had to do with my "skin being too dry". Keep in mind, that my feet soaked for only about a minute. After she cut me, she proceeded to add CUTICLE OIL to the same toe she had just cut. I had to stop her before she continued and ASKED her to put alcohol on my toe. I let her finish the pedicure despite how horrible the experience was going. By the end of the pedicure, I was very confused, as the paint on my nails looked REALLY BAD and the technician was running up and down the salon. I figured, "Oh. She probably has an appointment." And thought that it might be the reason my service was so short and rushed. But no. Homegirl sat down and got her nails done by another technician!! At this point, I was very shocked and got up to leave. Fast forward to the next morning, the cut she gave me was INFECTED. So, unless you want to waste your money, AND get a skin infection, DO NOT COME HERE! read more

She will make sure your 100% happy with her work before leaving. I usually get my nails and toes done aswell by whoever is available and they do a nice job. I received a gift certificate for this salon late last year (2019) I went in january 2020 to use my gift certificate and it turns out it's under new ownership so they refused to accept it. The gift certificate had 0 expiration date. When I first asked if I may use the gift certificate they told me I was at the wrong salon. The women who was going to provide the service was so patient but the owner was arrogant and ignorant. The worker brought the gift certificate to the owner and the owner waived it off without even looking saying I was at the wrong location. When i presented her with the attached business card the worker said she agreed I was in the correct location. The owner again waived her off saying no we dont take. This was a 50 dollar gift certificate. Its BS that you would take ownership take the clientele but wont take a certificate mind yourself the new ownership had no name change it is literally the same salon. I had gotten my nails done here once before and the work was mediocre I came back because of the gift certificate I've never written a negative review but if you want good service take ur money elsewhere.
