I decided to purchase a matching one for my left wrist for over three thousand dollars. I ordered it online and had it shipped to my place in Florida, as I spend winters down south. When I returned home to NYC, 4 months later, I compared it to the right wrist cuff I already own. The new cuff is SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than the same item I purchased a few years earlier! More importantly, it does NOT measure 95 cm in width as advertised!!! I recently went thru the paces to have my cobblestone earrings repaired and they were done "backwards!" I called and sent them back and had my money returned. Nice and they fixed them again (properly) for free which is nice...although I didn't get to wear them on my birthday it's fine. Tiffany's is not what they used to be. Got a ring last year. They sized it at the time. It's a bit big. No problem, right? I went in to have it resized. Without a customer care appointment, I would have waited over an hour as a "walk in." They also told me it would be a minimum of $175 to resize this band. Tiffany's has always been a fun place to visit and day dream. The store now has nine floors. They have a lot of artwork on every floor. The employees are so friendly and welcoming. Everyone I spoke with was so very helpful and very knowledgeable about the artwork and artists involved in the store decor. They knew all the names! Well you know the jewelry is fantastic. I was taking a lot of photos. I did ask and photos are allowed but not videos. I'm definitely returning to take one floor at a time. I was overwhelmed by just the first floor. It's been a very long time since I've visited this flagship Tiffany. Completely missed throughout Covid and their renovation, I never even had the chance to experience the 'temporary' store they had next door. This is officially the Tiffany Landmark and although the bones of the original still stands, this has become a very modern store compared to the classic I was so familiar with. If you purchase something in-store, even their bags are custom to this particular location decorated with a sterling silver Landmark tag. Entering on the main floor is always a rush; one entrance on 5th Avenue, the other on 57th. Regardless, you are face-first with crowds, sparkle, and plenty to look at, wondering where to go first. From here, make your way towards the back for the elevators. After enjoying their Blue Box Cafe, I went to the 'new' customer service department.. Gone is the entire floor being dedicated to this area with the many rows of sit-down window booths and the large lounge/waiting area, here, it's a much smaller scale where there is a wall that the associates disappear behind as you have the option to sit on a few stools. What I found frustrating is that apparently you have to make an appointment to have cleaning-even for fine jewelry-although they were kind to just steam my items. This still didn't have the effect as it used to (in the past, you could tell it was steamed due to the sparkle and how warm the jewelry was in your hands; I felt none of this which leads me to wonder if this was even done). Plenty of associates on hand, and a couple of them were attentive on different floors. One that stood out due to his kindness was Shukhrat! I was checking out the Schlumberger Sixteen Stone, and he was actually wearing it which certainly helped. Not only did he pull a selection in my size, we also had a seat in one of the salons AND he provided me with chocolate which obviously makes for a great impression. His enthusiasm and non-aggressive approach will ensure that I return to him when I am ready to purchase. Another thing that makes me feel way beyond the current times is the sales professionals no longer have their own business cards; everything is done digitally which I found rather appalling (and yes, clearly showing my age). I used to be able to write down pieces that I would work towards on the back of a sales card-including given them the well-deserved sale once I was ready to buy-that art is lost to being on my iPhone. As for the remainder of the store, what I missed this time but hope to see the next is the art gallery on the upper floors. Sidenote: I worked for this company which is why I am so particular, in addition to having so many memories on how things used to be. I was so proud when I received my cards with my name embossed. Tiffany has certainly adapted to the new age, which is impressive yet a little disheartening to those of us who remember it as it was. I purchased a pearl necklace recently, and when it arrived- all of the packaging was covered in blood. I was so appalled and disgusted, I called customer service, and they did help fix this issue. It was my first time in NYC and my wife and I decided to get matching bracelets. Our sales person Jane was amazing and very helpful. My wife and I decided to get matching Venetian Link Bracelets. At lunch, we realized my bracelet didn't have the Tiffany's trademark charm on it so we went back and the manager, Shamy spent time with us looking at all the extra large bracelets and realize none of the XL have them so she was able to talk to the jeweler, and he added one for us. I ordered a diamond ring from Tiffany's online. The ring was sent UPS. Our property is clearly marked NO TRESPASSING/DOGS. The UPS driver trespassed and left a delivery note on our front door. Got a recommendation to call the Patek dealer here. I live in Hawaii and have tried to build relationships locally with Patek before they lost their store. I have called tons of closer west coast stores and none are very friendly. Matt here at Patek/tiffany was the one Patek exception. Talked with me and gave me a real way to be able to start building a relationship and get future watches that I actually want. If you are a frustrated Patek wanting watch enthusiast like myself call and ask for Matt. I never yelp but this was about as great of customer service you can ask for. He immediately followed up with me and I'm hopeful to eventually get watches I dream about! 10/10 customer service. The flagship store is beyond a jewelry store, it's an experience. The sales people are friendly and welcome tourists who just want to look and take photos. I bought my first Tiffany necklace here, happy knowing it was from the original location. There are at least 7 levels, elevator attendants and a beautiful winding stair case. I love their timeless designs (but not the Please Return to Tiffany inspired handbags). I would 100% NOT recommend looking for engagement jewelry here. My partner and I made an appointment and ended up 10 mins late because we had to go back to a restaurant for a lost bag. I texted my representative well ahead of time about our new eta. She acknowledged it, and we showed up exactly at our new eta. She then showed up 20 minutes later and didn't even say hello. I mentioned on the intake form that this is our first time shopping for rings and we wanted to learn more. She didn't ask us a single question about what we were looking for. She didn't even ask my partner what his name was, and for the prices we would pay for these rings, you would want someone at least barely interested in who you are. I had to offer a few suggestions of what we would like to look at and she just handed them over. She did not speak unless we asked her a question, and every answer was one word and she seemed annoyed. Every question we had about the diamonds, settings, color, etc was just "that's just how Tiffany's does it." Very helpful, thanks! Please just go to the diamond district a few blocks down. Every store in there will charge you a fraction of the price for a truly custom ring, and the service is much better! Several faults over 7 years that I've owned my T&Co Infinity ring being charged each time! Visited both the New York store and Trafford Centre (UK) store - both completely dis-interested in the further fault (this is the 4th!) that has developed with my Infinity Ring. Only interested in making more money from repairs. So far I've spent around £500 on repairs to a ring that originally cost £2000! Customer Service is shockingly bad and I am getting nowhere with resolving my issues of poor quality with them. Next step will have to be court action for selling me an item just not fit for purpose but as a UK 'tourist' who bought it in the New York store, I need to do a bit of research first in to how I go about this. I don't see any reason to shop here again. I was visiting NYC for our wedding anniversary and went to the flagship store to pick up an online order. Everything went fine with the online order. Once I arrived at the store with my husband to pick up the order we were directed to an elevator. We went to the floor for online order pick-up and glanced at cases. As we moved towards the online order area an older man who was an employee in a suit, perhaps a client advisor or security? Not sure. He said loudly enough for me to hear "don't bother with them, they look like they just arrived from Coney Island." Not sure what that was meant to imply but the tone was pure mockery. If I'm wrong, then explain this interaction to me. I would love for this to have been a misunderstanding. The bracelet is fine, and obviously good quality, but this situation tainted the experience for me. Overall, outside of the online pickup, customer service was unimpressive. For me and my husband, the experience we had at Cartier was far superior. At Cartier we were treated like any other customer and felt that our choice to spend our money there was celebrated by way of impeccable customer service. At Tiffany's the vibe was, you don't look like you can shop here, therefore you are not deserving of customer service. An apology from the store would go a long way. We called customer service and they showed attitude (agent sighed loud as she was irritated) and basically you need to wait for several weeks to get a replacement; it takes 2-3 weeks to get through quality control. How did it pass quality control when they shipped it?! It was a birthday gift and no expression of remorse or trying to make up for the inconvenience and failed gift. The flagship and original location of Tiffany & Co., well worth a peak (or longer) in for a sightseeing self-guided tour, if in the area near Central Park in Midtown Manhattan. Our group made a conscience effort to stop by the store on a Thursday afternoon before lunch. It was a relief to get out of the muggy heat. When we walked in, we were definitely underdressed as tourists, but none of the immaculately dressed associates made us feel out of place. The first floor is a fully working jewelry retail store, with many customers sitting down at the jewelry counter talking intently with employees making sales. But there is so much more on the higher levels: it's an art museum as well. It has 110,000 square feet of floor space on it's 10 floors, 7 of which are available to browse to the public. One needs to make your way to the elevators in the back, where sits a Basquiat painting in the elevator bank (pointed out by our art-loving friend). Floors 3 - 7 are accessible to the public without an appointment, each floor with a unique set of high end jewelry and house goods (learned that Tiffany was originally a seller of housewares before they broke into jewelry design and sales). One can take the elevator to the 7th floor, and then take a glass spiraling staircase down to the lower levels until hitting the 3rd floor. Some cool places were the Patak Phillipe watches on 7, the tiffany diamond, an interactive homage to Audrey Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffany's on 5, Bird on a Rock jewelry, and a Race Car Clock in tiffany blue (whopping $215k with diamonds, 'only' $45k without). The employees on the upper floors were guides, rather than salespeople: friendly without being obtrusive, making us feel very welcome, even though they knew we were not going to buy anything that day. Special callout to Lisa and Brandon, both of whom spent time talking and educating us; both were delightful. For example, we learned that Tiffany Blue is color trademarked, with no other company being able to use it without permission. Also learned that Tiffany has a few long term partnerships, one of which is the famous one with SCHLUMBERGER, around the famous 'Bird on a Rock' jewelry. This is a must stop for anybody who has any interest in Tiffany (its jewelry or its history). read more

I am beyond disappointed with Tiffany & Co. I purchased seven pieces of sterling silver jewelry, paying a premium price, because I was assured by the salesperson that Tiffany offers lifetime complimentary cleaning. That promise made me feel a little better about spending so much money -- at least I would always have a way to maintain the pieces. Fast forward to the first time I try to use this service, and I am told it no longer exists. No explanation, no alternative, and no effort to make it right. This was a major selling point at the time of purchase, and now Tiffany is pretending it never mattered. That feels deceptive and misleading -- if not outright fraudulent. For such a "reputable" brand, Tiffany & Co. does not stand behind what they sell or the promises their employees make. If lifetime cleaning is gone, then what is the customer supposed to do -- pay ridiculous prices for jewelry and be left with nothing when Tiffany changes its policies? If Tiffany won't honor the service they sold me on, then they should refund my purchase or at least provide an alternative (such as free cleaning kits). But instead, they have provided no solution at all. Customers deserve to know that Tiffany & Co. does not honor commitments made at the time of sale. After a very long ( three year) renovation of the Flagship store I was excited to see the transformation. It is stunning , modern and displays several art pieces , BUT , I miss the store before the renovations., rich in history and nostalgia. However, the 10 floors are a work of art. The renovations include digital and LED technology. The renovations included adding a spiral staircase with crystals. The artwork adds a new dimension and you can spend time browsing over 40 pieces of art. There is also a Tiffany Blue Box Cafe. The bathrooms ( available to the public) are worth visiting. They are a work of art, with high end fixtures and exquisite tiles. The renovations are magnificent and the attention to detail is evident. read more

The heydays of Tiffany's are sooooooo gone. They're not the same company they were before being sold to a conglomerate in 2021. it's sad but also dangerous if you go in there for service on your (old) Tiffany jewelry. i took my 100+ year old Tiffany ring in to be resized when i inherited it. They lost a gem out of the setting and didn't tell me. when i called because it had been a month since dropping it off: when asked if the sizing was done they said "oh we're just waiting on a replacement onyx stone for the one that fell out". my ring didn't have onyx in it-its a diamond surrounded by alexandrite! then I got three different stories about what happened to the gem. Luckily my insurance company will pay for to have the gemstone replaced (they recommended i pick it up and not let Tiffanys replace the gemstone. ill just say one more thing. the service reps i dealt with were not trained well. thank god i have good insurance. read more
