Floors of amazing shopping with food halls, home wear, apparel and all the designer stores you can think of. Well that's the most common one. Then you have all the smaller pop ups scattered through out the city. The location at terminal 5 London Heathrow has nothing compared to the original....lol... it's your usual pop up that tends to cater to the last minute shoppers needing a gift. This store carries your usual tourist gifts that is fast and simple. Chocolate, teddy bears, of course the tote bag and lots of trinkets. Things that catches holiday maker eyes. Small concert at the airport for all your friends and family last minute gifts from London.

Even just getting a taste of Harrods, I can see why people love this posh department store. I checked out Harrods before catching my flight and was happy to see all the merchandise they had, especially since it's just an airport location, so the inventory is limited. But it was nice to see the designers they offered here, and since I love Tory Burch, they had an entire section just for Tory Burch. The staff were super friendly and even told me what products would be cheaper to get back home versus in London, so it wasn't all about them making money. I ended up getting a Tory Burch card wallet and they escorted me to the other section of Harrods where they offered more of their gift items. This was perfect as I was able to get some gifts for loved ones. Glad I was able to get a glimpse of Harrods, a London specialty.

I can't think of anything better than what's inside a little blue box from Tiffany's. As we waited…read morefor our connecting flight at Heathrow, we were drawn into this little Tiffany location. The shop is small and the cases are sparsely populated with Tiffany classics. I was drawn to a case of gold and silver charms. There were lovely wildlife charms where a portion of the proceeds benefits wildlife. The charms were whimsical and tempting. How was I going to get the idea into my husband's head? There was a small case of engagement rings for that couple making a quick decision to elope at the airport. Other cases boasted displays of pricey artsy gold chains, bracelets and earrings. A clerk offered to help me, but I was only looking and dreaming today.

Every girl loves Tiffany's. It's impossible to talk about the esteemed NYC jeweller without…read morementioning Audrey and Capote, so I'll get it out of the way now: despite diamonds being a girl's best friend and the whole sparkly-glittery aspect of Tiffany's, there's not a woman out there who doesn't aspire to at least the poise of Audrey Hepburn. When she stepped, albeit poorly, into Holly Golightly's shoes, Tiffany's reputation as one of the world's most prestigious jewellers was forever cemented. Besides that, they're always coming out with the cutest things! They stay edgy and on top of the newest designers whilst never losing their classic hauteure. Their latest designers are Paloma Picasso and Frank Gehry (designer of the NYC Guggenheim and the L.A. Disney Concert Hall, to name a few housing projects he's done), who are doing some great stuff with worn metals. The Tiffany Keys collection is one of the most classy and elegant I've seen in years. The Tiffany's at Heathrow Airport is airside, so before you get excited and decide to make the drive, make sure you by a plane ticket first. The Tiffany's staff are, of course, world class in subtlety, helpfulness and quiet charm. No one's ever been sold to at Tiffany's, nor been made to feel as if the tiny £20 horseshoe charm one has purchased is twee (it is). It's located near the Bvlgari shop, across from a few restaurants and a French bistro, toward gates 22 and above. Not that I've been there a lot, or absolutely in all ways love everything Tiffany's has ever done. Honestly.
