This is one of the top restaurants in Cirencester, so you'll need a reservation in order to dine here. The building is off of the beaten path, but fits quite a few people. The owners are Spanish and have brought their tapas expertise to England. Very happy about that.
We started off with complimentary fresh bread that was sooooo good. It was warm and it came with olive oil, finely chopped tomatoes, and a pate on the side. We then ordered small vegetable paellas for each of us. They were good and I loved how the edges of the rice were crispy due to the heat of the pan it was served in. There were also croquettes on the menu (always a favorite), but besides that, the menu wasn't our favorite that we've seen.
Our meal ended with complimentary truffles and a taste of another dessert too. That was SO kind of them, but from a business standpoint, I feel like that's unnecessary and seemed like it'd be costly for them. We definitely would have been okay with paying for the bread or dessert! read more
