My wife and I have been going for years, the food is that good. We've been to the Severn Bore breakfasts, food good again but as people who have been to Australia so much the size of the wave is totally underwhelming except for the very occasional weather/river conditions, but never is the R Severn anything like the shoreline of the Margaret River south of Perth, West Australia. It would be good for the restaurant to get some of the Margaret River wines on the menu and for some of the Blue Fairy Wrens to flit about in the bushes. The latter can't happen but the former could.
However, the seafood platter for two is outstanding and has to be enjoyed slowly whatever the state of the tide. read more
