This new tapas spot in downtown Cirencester was absolutely incredible. Our Airbnb host recommended it to us and I don't think we would've found it unless she had told us. It's located down a sweet alleyway and is so rustic and beautiful both on the outside and inside. I highly recommend getting a reservation weeks in advance, as every restaurant in the town was completely booked up every single night of the week (good for them!). We didn't have a reservation, but we arrived around 3pm, so they were empty at that time.
I never expected to find amazing Spanish tapas in England, but these were sheer perfection. The menu was probably the best menu I've ever seen, and we both agreed that we'd order literally anything on it. We ordered mushroom croquettes, jamon croquettes, iberico jamon plate, pulpo (octopus), patatas bravas, steak, and olives. Keep in mind that these are small plates, so you'll want to order 2-3 per person. We looooooved everything we tried, with the mushroom croquettes and jamon plate being our favorites. The bread looked amazing too.
Highly recommend! We'll come back if we're ever in the area again! read more
