We sat at the outside bar. The lady who' sat us kindly asked some guest to move over for us to have room as they got busy. I thought that was super sweet. Bartender was also super nice, young very friendly gal. She recommended a white claw hard seltzer which was so crisp and refreshing for myself. Doesn't even taste like alcohol. If you like IPAs or a nice hoppy taste. The Darwin ipa is great. Has a very distinct after taste but was the perfect ipa. Started with some grouper hush puppies. Lightly battered, super flaky and not too greasy. I got fish tacos and my other half got the scallops. The fish tacos came with three which was more than enough! I'm so full after 1.5. Tortillas were homemade (or nicely grilled) and tasty. There was a sweet ginger sauce on them which was different but I really like them. Prices were steep but that's probably normal seeing as we're from Texas. Overall 5 star for what they are out to offer! read more

Came here on a whim with my husband. I ordered the corvina fish tacos which were amazing. They have some type of orange sauce on them that makes them unique compared to most fish tacos. My husband got the peel and eat shrimp which he devoured. Definitely a place we would revisit. read more

I had the shrimp po boy and it was absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere is a quaint sea bar where you can watch the fishermen come right off the boats with the fish! We also had the special appetizer--buffalo mahi and those were equally delicious! First let me say up to last night Tide Table was one of my favorite restaurants! I don't mind the prices... but 8.95 up charge to combo seems excessive (snapper)... my wife got the snapper 27 no big deal if it was fresh hot and plenty to eat! Both plates were just lightly warm... could it have been sitting to long ? The fish came on a bed of greens not to be appealing but to cover up the extreme small portion!! Mine was ok..portion size! But not hot ! No need for greens!! The fish was fresh but not hot or really even warm... they were not busy! The server was pleasant! The sister restaurant star fish is a much better deal !!! I regret not taking a picture of my wife's plate as she was not happy with portion or price 80 with tip 20%! One beer and water for wife.. no desert! The problem was the amount of fish and temperature! I will still go but it will be difficult to talk the wife into tide table! read more

Not even close to star fish. Combo is $5 more and you get so much less. Service is good when you order but if you have a problem they are not pleasant. Stopped with my daughter to get lunch here. It was crowded at 1:30 in the afternoon, but we were able to get a seat at the bar. This is not gourmet food, but excellent fresh local caught seafood at a good price. I had a blackened grouper platter and my daughter had the fish taco platter. She kept telling me how much she liked it later in the day. The fries that came with the meal were perfectly cooked. Only the coleslaw was a disappointment (didn't taste fresh, and had very little sauce on it). The main courses were perfect! Sitting at the bar we could look over the water at the pelicans and other shorebirds working the waters surface for fish so it was scenic. You can get to the restaurant by land or sea! Day time is much better if you want to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the waters of Cortez. The seafood is as fresh as it can be! Larger and smaller portions are available...which helps the empty wallet! You will not find Long John Silvers prices here...but you will not regret the cost! We had the sampler...sea scallops, shrimp, and mahi mahi. We chose to get them blackened...great choice! This place was hopping, even though we thought we got there early for dinner on a Friday evening (~5:45). Looked like all of the outdoor seating was full, but we found a table inside without a wait. The indoor dining area is small, but it appears they get the most out of it, and the closeness inside lends positively to the atmosphere, as it felt like everyone, employees, diners and especially the people at the bar were enjoying themselves. Service was extremely helpful and friendly, food came fast. Everyone loved what they got, around the table we got the Shrimp Po-boy, the Grilled Shrimp, the Grilled Combo Basket and the Grilled Grouper. Everything was perfectly cooked, it was clear that whoever was working the grill has serious experience in grilling fish. The menu might have been relatively simple, but they absolutely do what they do right. At the end of the meal, there were four clean plates, including the ones in front of our 11 and 10 year olds. Only compliant we got at the end of dinner was from the 10 year old who regretted ordering the "low tide" (smaller) portion! Not sure when we'll be back, but we will definitely be back! read more
