From the moment we arrived we were treated sooo nicely by everyone there. These people have COVID cleaning and precautions down perfectly. They were busy and only had outdoor seating, but that's what we preferred. We went to the Tiki bar area and had a drink there and were seated in about 5 minutes. Everything from serving ware to condiments were all individually packaged and there was hand sanitizer on every table. My husband had the blackened grouper sandwich which was cooked perfectly. My only negative was that the bun was a little too heavy to taste the delicate fish so next time I will order the grouper, no bun or the platter. I got the fried shrimp of course. Outstanding! Not a touch of grease and they were huge. Fries were tasty as well. We were checked on regularly and it was nice to see the boats come and go. Love this place! Fish tacos are sooo good. They are fresh and saucy. Chicken tenders are homemade and great. Fried shrimp was good too. I've had better Cajun peel and eat shrimp but I would still get it again. I personally really like my shrimp deveined but I don't hold it against them that theirs wasn't. Also the key lime pie is a MUST HAVE. So good! Service is friendly and fast. They have a dock with tables you can sit and drink beer at while you're waiting for your table. So this place totally lives up to the hype! It was rated on yelp as the best seafood place in the area, even our boat crew to Egmont Key said it has the best seafood, so on our 2nd to last night it rained and we decided as soon as the rain was ending to make a quick dash to try to beat the crowd. The reviews say there is usually a wait, and after we sat down at the 2nd to last open table, sure enough there was a long line waiting for a table. I'd say they have about 15 tables and some bar spots, all outdoors. I was worried about dying in the heat, but we got a nice table with an umbrella, and most of the tables had large fans pointed towards them to keep you cool enough (at least for a 6pm dinner when the sun is starting to let up). For those waiting, there is a cash bar next to a small pier that provides a cool place to hang out and watch the boats go by or look for manatees. Everyone from the parking directors, hostess, and the waitress were great and hard working. The waitress kept our drinks coming even with a full dining area. The beers were all reasonably priced at about $3 each ($3.50 for corona) and their wine selection included Meiomi Pinot Noir which is a personal favorite. The kids' pink lemonade I especially liked because it was incredibly sweet with too much sugar. The real hi-light though was the food!! The combo basket included a large filet of flaky white fish, 3 huge shrimp and 3 huge scallops. All of the seafood was lightly breaded and fried, not like overly breaded you normally get or too crispy, but perfectly cooked with great flavor! The tartar sauce was absolutely fantastic too, slightly sweet, same as the delicious pineapple coleslaw (I normally hate coleslaw) and the unique carrot salad with a tasty vinegarette raisins. My wife loved her po boy, which was huge too. Quotes "How do I eat this thing!?" (In a good way) and "I'm sad it's gone but I'm stuffed. Oh look an extra shrimp that must have fallen out!" (Followed by a quick disappearance of the shrimp into food heaven). My daughter also loved her kids cheeseburger which appeared to be homemade! Literally we all wood have licked our plates if it wasn't frowned upon. This place has the best seafood I've had in years and I can see why it's usually a long wait. I headed out to Anna Maria Island for a solo trip and some exploring. After checking out the island, walking around and getting some beach time in it was time to grab some food. I met some local folks on the beach and they recommended Tide Tables so I figured why not. Tide Tables is right there at the end of the bridge on the bay side. In fact, you overlook the bay when eating outside or inside. The boats pull right up and then there are fishing charters that go out from there as well. The food was super fresh and the staff was pretty awesome as well. Based on a recommendation I got the Shrimp Po Boy. It was super tasty and those Gulf shrimp were huge. There's something about getting fresh seafood that just can't be beat. It brings out the New Orleans girl in me and makes me sad at how far out of Orlando we have to go just to get fresh seafood Tide Tables is worth the trip. read more

Found this place on Yelp and it didn't disappoint. We were able to get outdoor seating overlooking the ICW. Fresh fish is brought in regularly and there is someone filleting them right at the end of the dock so you know the fish is very fresh! We had the conch fritters and the grouper chowder (special) to start. The chowder was awesome with big ol' hunks of fish in it. The conch was a little disapointing - definitely could have used more conch, but then again, I don't think the west coast is as known for its conch as the Keys. I had the blackened grouper sandwich and my husband had the grilled mahi. Both portions of fish were HUGE! It was so fresh I'm kind of sorry I didn't go for just straight grilled as the fish was really that fresh. Nice selection of local beers. Great service. These reviews can't be real. Between the reviews and the local people talking about this place, we expected more than average seafood chain-restaurant quality. We were wrong. Appetizers: Conch fritters were mushy. The ratio of conch to filling was terrible. The peel and eat shrimp were also mushy. Mains: The fish taco was pretty good. The grouper cheeks were greasy and the breading fell right off of them. The shrimp po-boy had like half an onion on it but only 4 shrimp. For $20, I'd expect a few more shrimp. The fries were pretty good. Nothing here was better than an average seafood chain. Really disappointing final meal of our beach vacation. read more

We stopped by for lunch on 10/14. We were greeted by the woman attending to parking all the cars ( very small lot) and she was awesome. Very friendly and informative about the owner and their seafood. We were waited on by Virginia, a great waitress. Very friendly and always kept coming back to see if we needed anything. The blackened grouper is by far the best in this area. The fish tacos were huge and awesome. By far this was the best restaurant we visited while on vacation. We will be back. read more

Really a fan of this place after visiting AMI this past weekend. New to FL, so my wife and I really appreciate the Yelp reviews and this place did not disappoint. When you're coming from AMI, it is on the right and appears to be kinda small and next to a trailer park (which it is). Parking lot was packed and later on we realized why. Food is just no-frills good! We were quickly attended to and told that it could be up to an hour wait, but we were welcome to go to the docks and sit and have a few drinks. We took them up on it and a short 30 minutes later, the host came and got us. They have a slick walkie talkie system going on and they new how to find us pretty quick. We sat at the bar on stools that were not the most comfortable, but at this point in time we started seeing giant platters of food come out so we didn't like the uncomfortable/ no frills bar seats bother us at all. We were quickly attended to by the bartender and we ordered the Mahi Mahi Tacos and the Grouper Sandwich. When the food came out, it was so huge...but you could tell everything was freshly and home made. I got the baked beans as a side and they were beyond ridiculously good. My wife got the fries w/ her tacos, and we kinda shared each other's dinners. Everything was fresh and very good. For dessert we had the Key Lime Pie. BAM in your face Florida style like my Grandma used to make. While we were full from dinner, we split a piece and no crumbs were spared. Wow - what an impressive first visit. Our group of six arrived early for dinner on a week night to beat the crowds and were quickly seated at a picnic table outside. No frills, just casual, dockside dining. Our waitress was friendly and explained their specials. She arrived with our drinks quickly - two wines, two beers and a couple of soft drinks for the kids. We ordered the Cajun grouper bites to share as an appetizer...perfectly seasoned and fried grouper bites with a tartar and Cajun sauce. Very flavorful with the perfect hint of space. Our dinner orders included two grouper baskets and one grilled shrimp basket. The grouper was perfectly seasoned and grilled - the best we have found in the area. The fries were nothing fancy, but perfectly crisp. The cole slaw was basic, but we'll done. Our waitresses offered the homemade key lime pie for dessert, but we were too full. Stuck in traffic near the Cortez bridge? Stop waiting in line to get to the beach and get your spot on the inlet for a perfect sunset. The place was very busy but well worth the wait and it was easy to get a drink in the meantime. Their menu has all the staples of a beach bar along with some great drink specials too. The views are lovely at the establishment. We're visiting so we were looking for a great place for lunch. We checked in and were told that we could go around to the tiki hut and order a drink while we waited for our table. We got over there and the guy says the bar isn't open yet. ??? Ok so we enjoyed our wait on the dock with umbrellas and tables. Got seated in about 10 min. I got jumbo shrimp and he got the fish tacos. Both were pretty good, but fries were cold. We went on a Saturday night and the wait was about an hour. Parking is really tough. The food was probably a 4 star - the service wasn't great. Was a challenge to get water refills. The tables aren't overly clean sitting outside. The food did taste fresh. They said they were famous for the fish tacos and those were just okay. The key lime pie was incredible. Would highly recommend. If going with kids that would struggle to wait for a long time I wouldn't recommend. It's a small restaurant and likely will always have to wait. read more
