I tried to use Tide Cleaners Oakley for wash and fold for the first time and downloaded the app and got an order in for home pick up. Oakley is two miles from my house. First time use you are supposed to put your clothes in a disposable bag so I put it in a garbage bag next to my door, and nobody picked it up. I called the store and they said to put it back out there the next day and they will stop by. I did and still no pick up. I called the store and now got a different story that the Mason location took over home pick up that they only do lockers. The app clearly states Oakley does home pick up and delivery. At this point I am not even going to try a third time since starting off on the wrong foot. read more

Our experience was horrific. Not only did they take the creases out of two brand new police uniform shirts, when given a chance to fix it they not only pressed wrinkles in the sleeves, the new creases were completely offset from the badges. Then when my husband pointed it out, a nameless female came out of the back with a huge attitude. Avíe was nice, Kim was nicer, and the district manager Travis was beyond useless. Do NOT use this dry cleaner if you expect your cleaned and pressed clothing to be attended to correctly. Love this place! It is so convenient, great prices, and helpful staff. The turnaround time is really reasonable too! Most recently I brought my queen size down comforter to be dry cleaned. The drop off took less than 3 mins, as I am already in the computer system. It was to be ready in two days. At pickup I had obtained a coupon, which was intended to be applied at drop off, but they were nice enough to accept it anyways. I did the drive thru service, which was nice because it was raining, and this is under a canopy. The pickup took 5 mins, and only because it was a busy time. My comforter came out super fresh and fluffy. In the past I have taken them clothing items, including formal dresses and been impressed with that too! read more

My first-time experience at Tide started off on the wrong foot. I went to the location so conveniently located near my house armed with two down comforters and one faux-fur throw and a coupon for 25% off your 1st load, which I had received in the mail. I like that the location is sparkling clean (there is something very disconcerting about dry cleaners that look junky and dirty) and that it has a strong corporate backing, so if something goes horribly awry with your items due to the dry cleaner's fault you can deal with it by complaining to corporate rather than getting into a pissing match with a mom-and-pop owner who screams at you to leave their premises with a destroyed handbag because "you ain't got no privity of contract with me!" (true story). Unfortunately I arrived and was promptly informed that my coupon was only good for "dry cleaning items" and NOT house items. Grrr. I hate that bait-and switch. Don't use 25 font to advertise the 25% markdown and then 5 Verdana font in the fine print just to get me inside your store, that is not the way to build and earn a relationship with me. I already came into Tide with the expectation that it was going to be expensive, but I needed to especially get the faux fur throw cleaned (our new dog isn't potty trained, so....). I didn't want to spend $30 per item, so I left the throw with them and decided to try and stuff the comforters into my home washer (worked fine and saved me $60). Time-wise the location was great, they told me the throw would be ready in 2-3 days and I got a notification that it was ready the next day. When I picked it up, I was very pleased that the throw smelled so fresh and was even fluffier than when I first bought it 2 years ago. And, it was packaged very nicely in a little zip-up bag. The most pleasant surprise however was that on their own initiative they only charged me $15, because they considered it "a half-size" throw. NICE TOUCH. Took over 10 minutes to track down the complete order. Was given a discount for having to wait. As I was leaving, I noticed my garment bag wasn't attached to my order. I asked about the bag and was told that they "were behind on bags". What in the world does that mean?? After some 18 minutes, I was on my way. I usually like their service and it usually quick. My last two visits have been less than desirable. For these prices, you expect more. Time to get back to basics. read more

This place make dry cleaning easy. The have a drive up drop off and pick up service. You can also drop off 24/7. They have lockers so you can even pick up after hours. Its great for those who can't make it to the cleaners between the typical 9-5 hours. The prices are fair - any size comforter is $20, which is the cheapest I have found thus far. The also usually have coupons in the Sunday paper on in eReach. Make sure to read the fine print - some are only good for household items and others are only good for clothing. You can set up an account and they will give you a Tide laundry bag with your customer # in it. You can just drop of the bag, they clean it, charge to your card and you can pick up at your convenience. The location isn't great for me, or I would use them much more often! read more

The last 4 visits have been awful. Three out of the last four visits, they have forgot items in the order. We also asked for multiple shirts to be pressed and folded for travel- didn't happen. When I asked the young man who gave us our clothes why this wasn't done, he said they tend to forget things and that he's "not very good at folding" so he couldn't do it. Seriously? This last visit was our last. My husband brought his brand new work uniform to get cleaned and they lost a button on his blazer - which happens, but the manager said he would call back at 6 letting us know if they found it - no call. My husband then called 4-5 times before they finally answered and let him know they did not find the button. Honestly, I highly doubt they looked because the manager was already complaining that they would "have to look through a ton of buttons" and sounded annoyed, as if this was our fault. It makes me feel stupid to be sitting here frustrated about my clothes and my most recent experience with Tide Dry Cleaners, but never the less I am. In my case I just moved to the area and am living out of a suitcase therefore its important for me to have a quick turn around for the few dry clean only pieces I have. They make up 50% of my wardrobe at the moment, which is why I brought them to Tide knowing that they do next day turn around......or supposedly do next day turn around. So, last night when I went to pick them up and they weren't available in a locker as I had designated at check out, it ruined my plans for the week. Now, I'm shirtless for tonight's New Years and clothesless for work the rest of the week. I depended on them and they let me down, big time. And, not only did the let me down, but after I called them to inquire about it, and left a message, they didn't even call me back. They clearly don't care that they ruined someone else's week and New Years. And, when I asked about delivery, which they do, they said it wasn't available to me at both my downtown office and my current temporary residence. You think that they would go out of their way to make up for a situation that they caused?! The only recompense......a 50% off coupon for my NEXT dry cleaning. Screw you Tide. I do not mind overpaying for quality and service hence I use their services. HOWEVER I do not appreciate the fact that they have a sign saying closed Sunday due to Covid. I went by on a Sunday and NO ONE was inside cleaning and if you are familiar with their business model you stay in your car while someone comes to your car with a MASK on and this is how they operate EVERY DAY. Why should Sunday be different. If you do not wish to pay for labor on Sunday admit it. Do not use some cheap cop out such as Covid to lower your service to your customers. We pay good money for our dry cleaning and have other options. I do not like to spend my money with a corporation that lies and uses a tragedy to cut their labor costs at the expense of customer service. Do not even say you use Sunday for cleaning because I drive by quite often on Sunday and no one is their period doing anything. Tide Dry Cleaning is laziness heaven. It's a little out of my way, but it's still worth going out there for me because I have family in Anderson Township. I don't know a place that's cheaper with this good service & better pressing jobs (other than Atlas, but I don't do cash). If anyone has any recommendations near UC Main Campus, holler. The reason why I think it's laziness heaven is because of the drive thru service, in addition to the fact that they give out bags with customer service #s on it so that you can just drop off and pick up. The only reason why it's 4 stars and not 5 is because they didn't give me one when I went each week for two weeks in a row with about $40 worth of dry cleaning. The third week I asked my boyfriend to drop off the clothes and lo and behold a bag magically appears with him. Bias? I think so. I've noticed the worst thing about having an office job is that you need to buy so many clothes that need to be pressed, which gets expensive fast. My dry cleaning bill here is always kind of expensive, but that's because I dump a bunch of clothes, so I guess that's my fault. They're really communicative though--one time my sleeve hem fell through (freaking Zara, with your expensive ass clothes that don't ever hold long), and they were willing to fix it for me. Their tailoring prices are expensive ($20 for men's pants hem wtf) and they send it out, but at least it's an option. Again, there's a price to pay for laziness. Clothes come back smelling tide-y, which I like. Stains alwaaaaaays come out. But pressing can be done better... they double creased my pants. twice. My washer broke last week, and as a working mom with two children under the age of 3 that both are allergic to most detergents, I was in a bind. I was so excited to find that Tide had a "free and clear" detergent. The afternoon after I dropped it off, I got an alert on the app saying it was done. I loaded up my two kids and headed to pick it up, only to be told that it would be "several more days" until it was ready. Which is fine - accidents happen. However, after waiting three more days to have the laundry done, I picked it up and found out they had mistakenly used the regular detergent, which both of my boys have skin allergies to. I asked if they could rewash them, and was told they could, but it would take another week. Since I already had waited 3 days, and we didn't have many clothes left to wear, I asked if there was any chance they could put a rush on it since they were the ones who made a mistake. I was told that if I needed it done quickly, my "best bet" was to take it to another laundromat and do it myself. I was pretty shocked, to be honest. No apologies for the mistake. So, after $100 and 3 days of wasted time, I still got to spend an entire day in a laundromat doing laundry with two small children in the middle of a pandemic. Very disappointed - I would have definitely been a regular customer if this had turned out differently. read more

No shock to me that this place has mediocre reviews. Service is beyond incompetent, they do not have any interest in preserving customer relationships. If you want to literally be told how to handle yourself better as a customer and then be denied any support then come here. If you have a complaint, expect to hear nothing and be forced to escalate things to the "district manager" who's hands are tied to help you with damaged clothing. I had a coat that was shrunk, followed up and heard nothing back. Forgot about it and when I wore it the next season and was reminded it was completely ruined, I did what I could to follow up. The district manager essentially implied that I was threatening him when I said I would leave this review and then proceeded to tell me all the ways he wouldve handled the situation differently if he had been the customer instead of me. Do not think this place is the best dry cleaners just because it is Tide. I brought my brand new dress shirts there and when I got them back two of the shirts had identical "c" shape black marks on the shirts in parallel positions. They kept them and offered to wash them again for free. After 4 free washes and 2 weeks later, you could still see it on one of my shirts. They reimbursed me $5 for the two washes I originally paid for. The manager barely looked at me and acted very disgruntled when I asked for my money back after 4 weeks of not having m shirts... not to mention one of the shirts still had a black mark on it. Not to mention the manager is rarely there and they never solve issues without the manager. I had previously taken a comforter which had to be washed 3 times! because every time I was picking it up the same big stain was there! I finally decided to let it go since the comforter smelled like petroleum really bad that I had to get rid of it. I then on another occasion sent my daughter's baptism gown who had been in the family for a while and they ripped it. This time they gave me my money back but it doesn't fix the fact that the gown is useless now. End of last year I sent my husbands suits, some shirts, ties and a dress; my husband picked them up in the drive-thru and when he got home we realize that the BRAND NEW $750 suit AND THE BRAND NEW TIES were not in the bags!! He called back and they told him that if they couldn't find them they would give him the $80 he paid for the dry cleaning of all the clothes INCLUDING THE ONES THEY LOST! and that a manager was going to call us back...IT'S JUNE NOW! THIS HAPPENED AT THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR! I'M AT A $900 LOSS ON CLOTHES AND $80 THAT WERE NEVER RETURNED TO ME EITHER!! Every time I call they say the manager would call us back and they never did so I showed up and asked for the manager, she was very rude and said everything was given to us according to their records and called me a LIER!! She said she had to check on the cameras and I told her to go ahead that she could do that at the moment which to she replied that she needed two days to check on the cameras and she would call me back...SHE HAS NOT CALLED ME BACK, I STILL NEED THE SUIT AND THE TIES AND MY MONEY BACK!!!
