Chef Charlotte has got a gift I tell you. Her technique and approach is amazing. Our server Melissa was also perhaps the sweetest server I have ever had. This restaurant is a GEM, with a beautiful water, surrounded atmosphere and incredible stuff and mouthwatering food. I also recommend the carpaccio, fondue and crudo!

Tidal is set Within Paradise Point Resort with the most spectacular view of Mission Bay. Although our dinner was set in evening, we had a table view of the glistening lights shining on the bay. We started our dinner with the Tidal bread service which is on the appetizer menu. This is definitely a must order as the bread was baked fresh and tasted like no other bread service I've experienced before. The bread was unique in shape, presented on this beautiful wood board with a ricotta honey spread topped with microgreens, balsamic vinegar, olive oil and nuts. The steak burger was juicy, seasoned well and so large. The halibut was fresh, light and flakey. Finally, completed our night with crème brûlée. Wonderful dinner from start to finish!

This place is located at Paradise Point Resort and overlooks the water, a beautiful backdrop. The staff was friendly and they offer a kid's menu. The halibut was a bit dry but the mushroom risotto was very good and their crème brûlée had wonderful texture and taste.

Stopped by Tidal the other day for dinner. It was a warm evening in San Diego and we walked around the property down to the docks and got a lovely view of the sunset and beaches around the resort. At the restaurant we got seated almost immediately in the back porch area with a great view of the water. For food we ordered the Tidal bread service which was a freshly baked brioche roll served with whipped butter and ricotta cheese. The bread was warm and soft and the butter made it even more delicious. For the starter we shared the Wagyu beef carpaccio which came out thinly sliced with truffle aioli and caviar. For the entree we chose the lamb chops and prime rib eye. The lamb chops came out a bit too pink in the center but they had a nice flavor to them and weren't gamey at all. The rib eye was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. For drinks we opted for mocktails that were fruity without being too sweet. Overall Tidal is a great spot for dinner by the water with plenty of free parking nearby and a great spot to walk around after dinner.

We had a reservation at 7pm for a birthday dinner. We didn't get to seat until 715pm on a saturday night. Wasn't really a busy night, IMO. We ordered lamb shank and prime rib bone in steak with 2 wine. And brownie smores for dessert. Lamb shank was tender and delicious. Paired with suggested red wine. Good choice. Polenta is good, too. For that price,.expecting for more lamb shank :). Prime rib was good, seasoned well. However, we ordered medium but came out as rare. Brocollini came out kind of burnt, too, so we put that to the side. Since our server was nowhere to be found, we were sitting there waiting. No one is checking with us. We had to flag another server to get the prime rib cook some more. Eventually, I'm assuming the manager came out and bring the food out. This time, steak came out better and had brocollini there too, this time was cooked better. This time our server came out to check on us to see how everything was but everything was taken care off. We were ready to order dessert but server was nowhere to be found, again. We had to flag another server so we can order our dessert. Props to manager for taking care of us. Birthday dinner kind of sucked because of the service. We hoped we had the server that the 2 tables had, they were being constantly being checked and getting refills. I mean you're paying like eating at a steakhouse, service should be good, too. Intimate location, great view. Good food. Lots of parking. Good food. Will come back to eat here if we're staying here again and as long we don't get the same server.

We were staying at the hotel on site and we decided to try this place out and then the one next door each night and this place is okay. It does cost more and they don't have that big of a menu. I'm a picky eater so I ordered just some sides because there wasn't anything on the menu that I'd really eat. The view is gorgeous and they have a nice outside area to eat at that is right on the water. The waiter was a nice guy and he did great trying to get us to try different things.

Crab cake & fondue

Food was pretty mid tbh. For the price was expecting better. Ambiance outside was nice! Got the crab cake 7.5/10, clam chowder was actually the best thing we got 9/10. Pork belly flat bread 6/10 very underwhelming. Crab Mac n cheese 7/10. If ur looking for ur taste buds to do a little dance, I'd skip this place. Service was nice! Server didn't ask how the food was, prob cuz he knows it's mid. Being honest here.

We've been coming to Paradise Point a lot but we are always stopping by one of their bar & grill . This time we gave Tidal a try. The result was good and my Family was very happy about our Dinner here. From the Inside of the the restaurant to the Outdoor was stunning . The View from our Table was spectacular! Now for the food, we were very satisfied, with our cocktail, appetizers, main course, and dessert. I got the PACIFICO SEA BASS a decent-sized fish, and cooked nicely accompanied by a delicious Mushroom risotto. Next time I'm gonna order too what my son had, he had the Duroc pork chop and it was big and very tasty. Service was nice, food that we had was delicious and with a very stunning view !

Staying at the hotel so we wanted to check out this restaurant for dinner. Made a reservation online easily. Came in and was seated on time. Kinda busy. Inside was clean staff was attentive. We ordered the fondue, shrimp cocktail and some drinks. Fondue came out quickly and tasted very good, bread was delicious. The shrimp cocktail was very good too. The rose drink was fantastic and presentation was delightful. We got full after our appetizers so we didn't order any entrees. I would come here again.

5/5 stars for service. Major praise to Chef Charolette and server/bartender Esteban. Night one we decided to sit at the bar where we were served unique drinks from Esteban. We enjoyed our experience with him so much that we requested him as a server the following night. He gracefully along with Chef Charolette handled a difficult allergy, the chef even came out to confirm and take great care of me. Food and drinks were delicious. We are very grateful for our experience!!!!

Lots of great things to say. The staff was friendly the dining area was nice. And we elected to sit out by the beach front and use heat lamps. They even brought the ladies blankets. Speedy right on time great drink menu. The appetizer was just odd. Hard croutons from a bag it seemed like. Luckily the actual mozzarella and balsamic was great and tasty. The sea bass was great. I had just a sneak bite of it. I ordered the ahi. And it was a thick ahi steak. Very fresh. Great portion lightly seasoned and cooked perfectly. I also just love cauliflower so when this was dressed around the tuna I devoured it. Perfect season and cooking of it. Such a great family time

Pancake bites and coffee with a view

Pancake bites were yummy, coffee was good, views were terrific, but be prepared to stand in a long slow line for breakfast orders. Maybe they were short staffed the day I was there but it was a process.

Tidal is the romance restaurant of San Diego! With a full row of two-top tables right along the deck glass overlooking Mission Bay, dinner and drinks are at their sunset best here. The food and service are fantastic too. Don't miss the corn-and-poblano fondue -- just divine -- and the crab cake and scallops were excellent. The minted peas were a highlight too, and the meal as a whole was the best we had our entire vacation...perfection on a plate!

I initially ordered the something and picante (can't remember the full name) and found it to be way too sweet. Then switched to a basic Lalo with soda and lime to cleanse my palette. After tried their version of an espresso martini which was quite good but made with nitro brew and kahlua so a bit on the sweeter side. I ended the night with my fave drink though which was a Hugo spritz and it was perfectly balanced. Definitely will be going back, especially for the love band Sundays. Parking is all street parking.

We've been here twice this month with different out-of-town family members and both times our servers (Lynda and Ryan) were on point. Throw in the two managers (woman with dark hair, guy with a fun pink golf polo) were there to assist when we thought it was going to rain. Menu is diverse and something for everyone (or most). Beer and beverage list are great. Ample seating in different areas makes for a great experience. If this was 15 years ago we'd be bellying up to the bar to watch games or chill after a day at the beach. I'm sure it's a great place when the sun goes down. She was LOUD & reactive, like she was 100% sure she saw that, she grabbed 2 of the security guards & asked to get him out because she saw him come out of the girls restroom. WHICH WAS A LIE!! It was humiliating & if she would've just ran back the cameras she would see that is absolutely NOT what happened. It was unprofessional, ridiculous,& tasteless.
