The most beautiful view and place to hike, paddle board and kayak. Great place to take a chair and read a book with the amazing view. Love this little slice of heaven!

Such a beautiful area to go and explore with family! I have been in both summer and winter and it is beautiful scenery. I also love that it is dog friendly with plenty of areas to explore. Beautiful spot for family photos.

Parking is plentiful and easy-peasy. Luckily there weren't any soccer teams playing on the soccer field we posted up at, so we were able to take up a lot of space. I liked how there were some hilly parts on the side of the field that gives my dog some more interesting sprints. The grass was nice and fluffy, so I laid down for a bit and watched the clouds go by. Lovely breeze and people-watchin'. FYI - this is where the paved Jordan River Parkway (trail) starts/ends. I hit a dead end when I biked here without the pup. Go West, and I promise there is plenty of paved road with beautiful views to keep you goin (I believe it goes for 40+miles!!) You follow the river and can look at the mountains while passing the plentiful trampolines in people's backyards. This will be a summer fave for me (and my pup).

SPACE. 28 acres, to be exact. I counted four (4!) full-sized soccer fields (with official-size goal posts), two fishing ponds, clean rest rooms, about 2.5 miles of perfect strolling along the Utah Lake Parkway trail, and easy access to the lake. North Lake isn't a playground park or really a picnic park. It's an outdoor sports park, and hiking park, and a great view park. And oh what park it is!

Based on the photos and description, the boat appeared to be in great condition. Unfortunately, when we arrived to pick it up, it looked like an entirely different boat. The tower and speakers were different, there was no Bimini top for shade (even though one was clearly shown in the listing photos), and the seats and vinyl were ripped and torn--nothing like what was advertised. We felt completely misled by the listing. The owner wasn't present at either pickup or drop-off, which made the experience feel even less professional. While the boat did run, it did not perform as well as it had been represented in the listing and in our text conversations before pickup. Afterward, we contacted the owner to express our concerns. Although he admitted that the photos in the listing were not an accurate representation of the boat we received, he offered only excuses and refused to do anything to make the situation right. Since then, we've found several other reviews describing similar experiences. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend renting from Dylan's Water Sports at all! We felt it was our duty to warn others. I would have given zero stars if I could.

Was NOT prepped to rent out the boat, there were Numerous UNSAFE practices with renting a Boat from this company. If you want your family safe Or have a good Rental, GO RENT FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE. Owner is a big talker saying he'll fix things and make it right, BUT NEVER DID IT. He's a good liar so BEWARE. THIS COMPANY WILL RUIN YOUR TRIP IF YOU TRY AND RENT FROM THEM. Here is a Summary of MAJOR BOAT DEFECTS when the boat was delivered to us. 1-Trailer light improperly wired and encouraged us to drive illegally without break/tail lights. 2-Severely deteriorated trailer tire. (tire blew even though we told him the tire was bad) 3-No spare tire provided. ( who rents a boat trailer without a spare tire? ) 4-Missing safety flag. (illegal to pull people without a Flag on the boat and he doesn't even provide an orage flag) 5-Damaged riding tube. ( promised we'd have a tube with the rental so he gave us a tube with a hole in it that we couldn't use) 6-Missing promised equipment. ( missing boards, flag, etc) 7-Disconnected Engine Cooling Hose. ( He never connected the Engine colling hose for the boat to operate) 8-Immediate Engine Overheating. ( Boat didn't operate Immediately upon launching ) 9-Water intrusion. 10-Exhaust component damage. 11-Multiple ballast system failures. (Couldn't surf behind the surf boat) 12-Improper pump configuration. 13-Drivetrain/transmission failure. ( An issue others here have complained about for atleast a year and the owner FAILS TO REPAIRS ISSUES) 14-Tire failure during return trip. (We had to pay to replace his crap tire and pay for a Jack to hoise up his boat since he didn't provide a spare tire) Review of Dylan's Water Sports is this is a bad rental company Owner responded with several significant admissions, including: "We didn't do things right." "Things were not put together right." "I feel terrible about this." "I thought my mechanic checked everything" "My mechanic has mistakes like this before, it happens" Owner Bo Andreas Gustaffsson has FAILED TO REFUND my money. This company will Steal your money and blame pre-existing issues on you. RENTER BEWARE because I don't want others to be taken by this company.

Current Creek campground is a large place with 4 loops. My favorite is D loop because it's closest to the lake. Bathrooms have flush toilets but no showers. Each camp site has a picnic table, grill, fire pit and concrete pad. The camp host station sells ice, firewood and some bare essentials. The star of the show is the lake. Usually you'll find me sitting on the shore waiting for a fish to bite. I've caught rainbows and tiger trout. But even if you don't catch anything the views are spectacular. If you should get lucky and decide to keep your catch there is a fish cleaning station by the boat ramp. Directions, there are 3 ways to get there all involve a bit of graded dirt road. You can take hwy 40 to the Current Creek Road and drive up next to the river, then around the lake. Next option is to turn off hwy 40 at the chicken creek area and take FS road #82. The turn is just before the UDOT facility. Lastly you can take center street from Heber past the Timber Lakes community. There is no cell phone service at the lake or campground. :)

We did not get very far as the kayak was so squirrely it was impossible to steer on Utah Lake without the fins. We headed back to shore and realized the kayak had also begun to take on water. We checked that we'd secured the plugs and valves correctly and we had, so there must have been a leak. Extremely disappointed with the product condition. The seats on the kayak were also placed in an uncomfortable way and offered no support when paddling, but that is more of a design flaw rather than the responsibility of the renters. When we took it back, I explained the issues we'd had and the store employee said they don't give out the fins since "they get lost and it doesn't really make a difference in the steering." I disagreed but he said it just depends on the person who's paddling in the back. I also told him about the possible leak and he just said they'd take a look and give us store credit if there was a problem. I told him not to bother in that case as we will not be coming back. I hope others have a better experience, but we were sorely disappointed in the rental product and the customer service.
