The most beautiful view and place to hike, paddle board and kayak. Great place to take a chair and read a book with the amazing view. Love this little slice of heaven!

Such a beautiful area to go and explore with family! I have been in both summer and winter and it is beautiful scenery. I also love that it is dog friendly with plenty of areas to explore. Beautiful spot for family photos.

Parking is plentiful and easy-peasy. Luckily there weren't any soccer teams playing on the soccer field we posted up at, so we were able to take up a lot of space. I liked how there were some hilly parts on the side of the field that gives my dog some more interesting sprints. The grass was nice and fluffy, so I laid down for a bit and watched the clouds go by. Lovely breeze and people-watchin'. FYI - this is where the paved Jordan River Parkway (trail) starts/ends. I hit a dead end when I biked here without the pup. Go West, and I promise there is plenty of paved road with beautiful views to keep you goin (I believe it goes for 40+miles!!) You follow the river and can look at the mountains while passing the plentiful trampolines in people's backyards. This will be a summer fave for me (and my pup).

SPACE. 28 acres, to be exact. I counted four (4!) full-sized soccer fields (with official-size goal posts), two fishing ponds, clean rest rooms, about 2.5 miles of perfect strolling along the Utah Lake Parkway trail, and easy access to the lake. North Lake isn't a playground park or really a picnic park. It's an outdoor sports park, and hiking park, and a great view park. And oh what park it is!

Steering was terrible, surf trim broken, and the boat had a hard time going into neutral to start. When it finally did go into gear, it would lurch forward or backward unpredictably, making it hard to operate. The passenger ballast wouldn't fill at all, and the driver-side ballast barely worked. Andreas was over an hour late, and once we had the boat, we texted him about the issues but received no answers. We've rented many boats -- this was the worst. Save your money and rent elsewhere.

He went to pick up more, but still did not provide enough for everyone. Our boat was the Tige and it was not in good condition. There were several things wrong with the boat that made our experience more complicated. The power steering didn't work, the throttle was extremely difficult to operate (there were several times where we couldn't find neutral so we couldn't get the engine to start for several minutes), the front window wouldn't open which made getting from the back to the front of the boat difficult, especially for the adults, the speed of the boat would not exceed 25mph, and times when it would not go above 15. The trailer brake lights and blinkers didn't work on one side as well. I reached out to Andreas, who we had been communicating with, to let him know of the issues. All he did was get defensive and make excuses. We felt a small refund to compensate us for the difficulties was warranted, but once inquired about, he stopped responding. Overall, I would not rent from Dylan's Water Sports again. They only seem to care about making money and not their customer's experiences.

Current Creek campground is a large place with 4 loops. My favorite is D loop because it's closest to the lake. Bathrooms have flush toilets but no showers. Each camp site has a picnic table, grill, fire pit and concrete pad. The camp host station sells ice, firewood and some bare essentials. The star of the show is the lake. Usually you'll find me sitting on the shore waiting for a fish to bite. I've caught rainbows and tiger trout. But even if you don't catch anything the views are spectacular. If you should get lucky and decide to keep your catch there is a fish cleaning station by the boat ramp. Directions, there are 3 ways to get there all involve a bit of graded dirt road. You can take hwy 40 to the Current Creek Road and drive up next to the river, then around the lake. Next option is to turn off hwy 40 at the chicken creek area and take FS road #82. The turn is just before the UDOT facility. Lastly you can take center street from Heber past the Timber Lakes community. There is no cell phone service at the lake or campground. :)

We did not get very far as the kayak was so squirrely it was impossible to steer on Utah Lake without the fins. We headed back to shore and realized the kayak had also begun to take on water. We checked that we'd secured the plugs and valves correctly and we had, so there must have been a leak. Extremely disappointed with the product condition. The seats on the kayak were also placed in an uncomfortable way and offered no support when paddling, but that is more of a design flaw rather than the responsibility of the renters. When we took it back, I explained the issues we'd had and the store employee said they don't give out the fins since "they get lost and it doesn't really make a difference in the steering." I disagreed but he said it just depends on the person who's paddling in the back. I also told him about the possible leak and he just said they'd take a look and give us store credit if there was a problem. I told him not to bother in that case as we will not be coming back. I hope others have a better experience, but we were sorely disappointed in the rental product and the customer service.
