Once through the paths, you come out to the small-ish lake where there's a path that leads you all the way around, with plenty of opportunities to go back out to another path. It was semi-busy when we went during a weekday afternoon, but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I'd like to come back with my bike and to bring my dog back to possibly swim. I saw a swimming area, but people were fishing nearby, and I knew that my dog would ruin their game! Lovely for a solo / family or date outing on a sunny afternoon or sunsetting evening.

There are quite a few trails and pathways that lead to the north side of Utah lake and I've seen people frequent them. I wouldn't recommend the pond for swimming , but it's great for some casual fishing and watching ducks swim around. There are lots of shaded bench areas as well and also areas I've seen people set up hammocks to relax. Quite easy to get to and free street parking. A nice little getaway from the hustle and bustle of Saratoga, Lehi and American Fork.

Based on the photos and description, the boat appeared to be in great condition. Unfortunately, when we arrived to pick it up, it looked like an entirely different boat. The tower and speakers were different, there was no Bimini top for shade (even though one was clearly shown in the listing photos), and the seats and vinyl were ripped and torn--nothing like what was advertised. We felt completely misled by the listing. The owner wasn't present at either pickup or drop-off, which made the experience feel even less professional. While the boat did run, it did not perform as well as it had been represented in the listing and in our text conversations before pickup. Afterward, we contacted the owner to express our concerns. Although he admitted that the photos in the listing were not an accurate representation of the boat we received, he offered only excuses and refused to do anything to make the situation right. Since then, we've found several other reviews describing similar experiences. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend renting from Dylan's Water Sports at all! We felt it was our duty to warn others. I would have given zero stars if I could.

Here is a Summary of MAJOR BOAT DEFECTS when the boat was delivered to us. 1-Trailer light improperly wired and encouraged us to drive illegally without break/tail lights. 2-Severely deteriorated trailer tire. (tire blew even though we told him the tire was bad) 3-No spare tire provided. ( who rents a boat trailer without a spare tire? ) 4-Missing safety flag. (illegal to pull people without a Flag on the boat and he doesn't even provide an orage flag) 5-Damaged riding tube. ( promised we'd have a tube with the rental so he gave us a tube with a hole in it that we couldn't use) 6-Missing promised equipment. ( missing boards, flag, etc) 7-Disconnected Engine Cooling Hose. ( He never connected the Engine colling hose for the boat to operate) 8-Immediate Engine Overheating. ( Boat didn't operate Immediately upon launching ) 9-Water intrusion. 10-Exhaust component damage. 11-Multiple ballast system failures. Current Creek campground is a large place with 4 loops. My favorite is D loop because it's closest to the lake. Bathrooms have flush toilets but no showers. Each camp site has a picnic table, grill, fire pit and concrete pad. The camp host station sells ice, firewood and some bare essentials. The star of the show is the lake. Usually you'll find me sitting on the shore waiting for a fish to bite. I've caught rainbows and tiger trout. But even if you don't catch anything the views are spectacular. If you should get lucky and decide to keep your catch there is a fish cleaning station by the boat ramp. Directions, there are 3 ways to get there all involve a bit of graded dirt road. You can take hwy 40 to the Current Creek Road and drive up next to the river, then around the lake. Next option is to turn off hwy 40 at the chicken creek area and take FS road #82. The turn is just before the UDOT facility. Lastly you can take center street from Heber past the Timber Lakes community. There is no cell phone service at the lake or campground. :)
