Present and accommodating staff, especially with our dynamic production schedule. Good variety of food menus. They were communicative with our production team on what they needed: two 8-foot tables and an EZ-up tent with walls attached to block the wind from cooling the burners. We'd recommend listing "includes dairy" as an allergy warning moving forward, since we had a couple minor instances with our crew's needs. 2 out of the 3 days, the staff helped us box lunches and leftovers to-go, which was incredibly helpful and appreciated. On the last day, they provided boxes, but our crew had to box it up. Overall, Saltwater Catering was easy to work with, and we'd use them again if we film in the area.

Whether the occasion calls for fine dining or casual BBQ, they can truly do it all -- and do it beautifully. The food is always amazing, the pricing is reasonable, and the team is a joy to work with. They listen carefully, adapt to your needs, and bring your ideas to life. You come to them with a clear vision or just a loose theme and they will work with you to make it special. I've hosted events both at home and at outside venues, and Saltwater has even helped me find a venue when my first choice wasn't available. Their professionalism and dedication are unmatched. At one party, when our ovens suddenly stopped working, the chef and his assistant literally ran back and forth to a neighbor's house to make sure our guests never noticed a thing -- talk about above and beyond! I've trusted them for long-planned events like weddings and for last-minute gatherings like a celebration of life, and they've handled every situation flawlessly. Lou and Nancy are true pros who care deeply about their clients and the quality of their work. I can't say enough good things about Saltwater Catering -- they make every event feel special. You won't be disappointed!

The had catered events there in the past so they knew what they were walking into.....No electricity, no running water and an outdoor venue where they had to bring their "Kitchen" to the parking lot. But what none of us could imagine was that it would rain and rain hard during the event. This did not seem to deter them. The food was HOT, and delicious. They plated 175 salads and then 175 dinners. Their servers were gracious, quick and so sweet. The servers were dripping wet as they had to carry plated meals through the rain to our tables in the tent. They did not complain and were joyful and helpful. One of the servers caught the attention of one of our family members who was blind. This server walked her into the tent when it started raining and gave special attention to her throughout the evening. I will recommend this catering company to everyone who is looking to cater a diner, a party or a wedding. They nailed every aspect of our event through unusual circumstances and i could not be more grateful!!!!! I do not think five stars is a high enough rating for this amazing catering company. He was a pleasure to work with, responsive and made everything as easy as possible for us. Jeff does far more than simply prepare wonderful food. He takes the time to understand the style, timing, and atmosphere of the event and personalizes the flow of the evening around it. Everything felt beautifully coordinated and completely seamless. The food was outstanding and elegantly presented, and his team -- including the bartender and three servers -- was equally impressive. They were polished, gracious, attentive, and incredibly efficient. Service was always there exactly when needed. We were able to spend time with our guests and truly enjoy our own party because every detail was being handled so professionally behind the scenes. Our guests raved about both the food and the service, and at the end of the night, Jeff and his team left the kitchen absolutely spotless. Jeff is talented, thoughtful, organized, and created a wonderful experience for us and our guests. We could not have been happier and would hire Jeff the Silent Chef again without hesitation. We worked with Erik from the start after a terrible experience with another caterer who backed out of our wedding just a couple months before our date. Erik immediately jumped in when we contacted him and not only offered us discounts in a lot of different areas because he felt bad for what we'd been through with our previous caterer, he also offered to move the tasting location so it would be closer and more convenient for my husband and I to do a tasting right away given our time crunch and the location of our jobs. Erik was extremely responsive, accommodating, and flexible from start to finish. All of the pricing was extremely transparent and there wasn't constant upcharges or hidden fees like you see with some wedding vendors. The tasting itself was wonderful, which included surprise complimentary champagne in addition to complimentary add on tastings Erik picked just for us, and we immediately vibed with Erik, who was so sweet and genuine and not at all being an over-the-top salesman. You can tell he loves his job and cares about the food and company, but it still just felt like we were enjoying a delicious meal with an old friend. Even if the food sucked, we might have still chosen 24 Carrots just because of how much we all loved working with Erik! But alas, the food was also spectacular. All in all we did EIGHT food tastings to pick the right caterer for our wedding, because having excellent food and service was one of our top priorities for our wedding. We knew 24 Carrots was the right choice after how professional and organized they were and after we tasted their excellent food. On the day of the wedding, they had a massive crew of people to make sure everything was executed perfectly. From passed appetizers during cocktail hour, to piping hot duet plated dinner service, the food was excellent. We had so many guests rave about how delicious the food was, even still. This was no ordinary wedding food. It was a cold and rainy day on the wedding, and somehow, guests commented on how all the food still came out piping hot. The dish was a duet of salmon and braised short ribs with mashed potatoes and broccolini. The vegetarian option was a butternut squash and caramelized onion risotto. Both servings were huge, and our hungry guests were thrilled. The service and professionalism of the staff was unmatched. They were able to help do a "flip" between the ceremony and the reception, while also serving apps during cocktail hour. Everything was executed perfectly, the taste and flavor of all aspects of the dinner was phenomenal, and the staff was all so kind and gracious. My husband, me, and my parents are so happy we chose 24 Carrots and got to work with Erik. We have already recommended them to anyone who needs a caterer and we will absolutely be using them again for any future events we have, big or small. Our previous caterer backing out turned out to be a huge blessing in the end because we got to end up working with 24 Carrots who helped make our day even more perfect. 10/10 recommendation, service, and quality of food.

I can't speak to 24 Carrots' food or catering services because I have never used them. I can,…read morehowever, speak to my experience living next to their operation. They have been incredibly inconsiderate neighbors when it comes to noise and the surrounding residential community. Their landscaping and/or cleaning crews have repeatedly been working as early as 5:00 AM. That means residents nearby are being awakened by work being performed outside a commercial business hours before most people are even awake. This isn't an occasional 7:00 AM inconvenience. I'm talking about 5:00 in the morning. Los Angeles has restrictions on the use of loud landscaping and other powered equipment before 7:00 AM when it is being operated within 500 feet of residences. Regardless of who 24 Carrots contracts to perform this work, these crews are servicing their property, and I believe the company has a responsibility to make sure its vendors operate at reasonable and lawful hours. A company in the hospitality business should extend some of that hospitality to the people who actually live next door. Again, I cannot review their food or event services. But as a neighbor, my experience with the company's consideration for the surrounding community has been extremely poor.
