My friends and I decided to go to Cleveland for my birthday very last minute and found Thyme x Table through a tiktok. The food looked DELICIOUS and the atmosphere impeccable. When we arrived the service was immediately amazing. Kal was a great host. Our waitress, Mal, was the absolute sweetest not only server, but person. Everybody was so accommodating and Eric even brought us a free drink! I couldn't recommend this place more. We had an amazing time, laughed the whole night, and we were there for two and a half hours before we knew it. Not a single complaint about anything and we'll be going back very soon (even if it is a two hour drive) :) The best 21st birthday spot that could've been chosen and happened by chance. We cannot say enough great things about Thyme X Table. The food is flavor-packed, creative, and down right delicious. The staff is all-star, one-of-a-kind. We may have broke the restaurant's short history of largest party to be sat as a non-private event. Twenty-two (22) hungry, thirsty, with on the clock babysitters enjoyed incredible cocktails by Eric and the team while Mallory and her fantastic staff got through the busiest brinks of the night to be able to seat us. Seating us in the same section and playing Tetris with the tables to make it work for all of us. Once sat, service was spot-ON! Drinks stayed flowing, appetizers went in and came right out. Our table snacked on the newest appetizer: short rib poutine. Good luck not making that dinner alone -- comforty AND flavor central! Meat and cheese board and the infamous lobster tots had our other table singing Thyme's tunes too! From your Thyme classics: FCS with herbed fries and short rib with polenta entrees to their seasonal plates: long-bone pork chop and pierogis (holy yumm!), the group left well fed, thirsts quenched, and one of the best evenings because of Thyme. My sister loves this place so I decided to give it a try. I got the cheesy grits w bbq glazed ribs. The meat was cooked perfect!!! The grits were "okay", a little more on the Mac and cheese side of cheese but that's my personal preference because my sister loves their cheesy grits. The broccolini was well cooked. Resting beach face drink was amazing! Didnt like that the beet goat cheese and nuts were all blended on the salad. Would have been better separate. The preserve had 0 taste, and it literally tasted like Mc Donald's hash browns.. I hear the short ribs are amazing but didn't try them. This is one of those places you hear about so often by word of mouth that you know you need to try. It's also coincidentally one of those places you hesitate to share with the world because you don't want long lines but you know the restaurant deserves it. Hence I'm sharing! Reluctantly! I came here for dinner a week ago and as they don't take reservations and we got there around 7:15 pm on the weekend, we were told there would be about an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes wait. Fortunately there is one sofa and the rest are benches and we got the sofa. While we waited I got two of the honey cocktails and we had a small lobster tots, which is more than enough for two people. The cocktails were amazing and the bar tender came over and asked how they were a couple of times. The tots were the best tots I've ever ever had. Omg. Drool. Even though we were waiting for a table we had so many people come over and ask how we were doing, like every 10-15 minutes at least. It was actually quite comfy! When we got a table I ordered the veggie risotto and he got the bbq cheeseburger and they were both very good, although at this point I was full and took the risotto home, which was a no-no as it wasn't good the next day. We ordered for dessert the Canadian coconut chocolate bar, I forget the name. It was sizeable and definitely enough for two people. Very good! We definitely want to come back. The restaurant is a little small with parking on the left hand side. It's cozy and has a dark warm atmosphere. While we were there there was a musician and she was excellent, doing mostly Nora Jones type songs. Very calming. The menu seems to change seasonally which I enjoy. This is the type of restaurant you want to become a regular at, so maybe I'll see tot there! read more

Checked it out for the first time on a Saturday night. Very impressed... finally there is an inventive, comfortable and chef forward restaurant in Bay Village!!! We arrived early and you can experience the Happy Hour Menu in the full space (big plus). The LOADED LOBSTER TATER TOTS w a good amount of lobster meat, bacon and scallions, were gently mixed in with crispy tots and cheese sauce... perfectly done and a great shareable for three over drinks. My "GEM WEDGE" salad was worth getting and my main was the BBQ + BEER BRAISED SHORT RIBS, cheddar grits and garlic broccolini were heaven on a winter night. The dessert was a rich, chocolate pot that left no remains... excellent too. The friendly staff was not stumped by any questions and all orders were perfectly timed in succession. All courses were beautifully presented. Be aware they do not take reservations... but if you do have to wait there is an area in the middle w benches. This was our fourth visit to thyme x table. NOTHING has changed! Serious problems.... We started with the lobster tots. Supposedly the best appetizer here, but by the time I actually got to try them I was seriously disappointed. All of the lobster and sauce were gone, I was only left with a few meager tots. Not sure if my wife was to blame, our the restaurant for making them so delicious that she almost ate the plate they came on. Will try one more time, then I will give up and come to the conclusion that I will never really get to try them morsels of gold. The drinks, what can we say... AMAZING!!! The bartenders are trying so hard to come up with imaginative and captivating cocktails, that it really shows. A real chef has found a place in the sleepy little suburb of Bay Village. The food is top notch and what you would expect from a trendy restaurant in one of the hip Cleveland neighborhoods. The Bibb lettuce and grapefruit salad is so good that I don't think it could possibly be improved upon. While the lobster tots are unique and topped with real lobster meat, I found them to be very filling. I really think it would be best shared or they should make it a smaller portion since it is billed as an appetizer. Others at the table ordered a lamb dish, the hummus platter and a burger. Each dish was presented well and were equally as good. They have some great sounding desserts, but none of us had room. I did , however, have a cup of the duck rabbit coffee which is some of the best coffee in Cleveland. This gives me a reason to go back, so I'm not too upset. The zeppole (sort of a gourmet donut) sounded amazing, hope it is still on the menu when I return. Now let's get to the drinks---they are hand crafted with care. The Paloma was garnished with a huge grapefruit slice and was absolutely delicious on a summer night. The Manhattan looked just as good. This place is tiny, but has a rather large patio for its size. They open at 4 and you better get there early if you don't want to wait for a table (no reservations). But, if you don't get a table right away, sit at the bar and enjoy a drink because it is well worth the wait. read more

Since we're in the midst of a pandemic, we ordered online and picked up a meal for four: BBQ short ribs, cheese grits and salad. We also ordered the Maker Bayfield, their take on an Old-Fashioned. I have never seen physical distancing done better for takeout. I was kindly greeted, my prepaid order was brought out in a bag, and then the guy who brought the order stepped away for me to get it. Instructions for heating were included, and he gave me verbal instructions on assembling the cocktail. The food was great. The salad was a fresh and tasty with greens, strawberries, salty fresh cheese, and balsamic dressing. The big cubes of short rib were rich and flavorful, pairing perfectly with the cheesy grits. The Maker Bayfields had just the right amount of sweetness with the complexity of the Maker's Mark and bitter clearly coming through. Portions were generous. Thyme Table has done a phenomenal job in the midst of a pandemic. We will definitely be returning. read more

Nice spot and nice atmosphere. Dined there early Friday evening so it was pretty chill inside. Started off with the lobster tater tots and they were everything! For my entree I had the BLT. Beware it does not include bacon. Candace (our waitress) was kind enough to let me know ahead of time so I ordered it with bacon. The brussels sprouts slaw was different but worked well on the BLT. The fried green tomatoes made the sandwich though. It was so good and I was very full. The fries were good too. I had desert which was a peach shortcake dish but it really wasn't much to write about. I had a wonderful cocktail from her and they have a really nice fun cocktail list that you can enjoy. because I travel I often looks for a nice restaurant that has a bar that you can sit on order dinner and be single and still feel that it's okay. I had some good red wine that was a California blend that went fine with the skirt steak that I had. They've only been open about 4 months but I think they're doing a great job! the only negative I would feel it's a little noisy for me but it's typical of the modern bistro place. They also have some wonderful homemade desserts that rotate as the pastry chef they have on staff decides to make them. The bar has great selections of vodka rum and gin to make wonderful cocktails with. To have a restaurant like this in our small community is absolutely amazing! The food and cocktails are as good if not better than most of the similar spots in Tremont, Ohio city or even downtown. Eric the bartender takes pride in his craft and it shows. Eric uses the finest ingredients and has one of the coolest and diverse cocktail lists i've seen! No wonder he is rated one of the best behind the bar in the nation! (No joke he is ranked!) The food speaks for itself but the chicken fried oysters, skirt steak and grits, lobster tots, pretzel balls, flaming cheese and kimchi short ribs I can attest to be next level. Getting together with good friends and family was the occasion to come to Thyme Table; everyone had a great dining experience. They offer a decent array of libations and appetizers. The menu is not very large, but it offers a couple of options for vegetarians. Weordered the lobster tater tots, crunchy little morsels sprinkled with lobster chunks and parmesean cheese, a charcuterie platter filled with cheese, dried fruit and crackers and summer squash, thinly slices squash over a soft mild cheese. Prices range from $11-$19. As for our entres, two of us ordered the bbq short ribs with grits and brocolini, the 12oz grilled pork chop with roasted Brussel sprouts & mashed potatoes, and one ordered the grouper special, grilled grouper over mashed potatoes. ($26-$32) Each person thoroughly enjoyed the meal! The ribs were tender and tasty; the pork chops grilled to order. I loved the Brussel sprouts! -and the fish was tender and flaky. We each ordered wine as well as shared a bottle of wine and for dessert, creme brûlée. We loved Thyme Table! With its quality food and attentive servers, it made for a memorable dining experience!
