I vape a little, for the sweet taste. I have been to two vape shops. One, where I bought the pen and some juice and another, where I just bought juice. I find the staff at many shops to be young men who seem very disinterested in their work and certainly not interested in helping a middle aged woman. They aren't particularly knowledgeable (from what I can tell) and seem most interested in my leaving the shop so they can go back to playing on their phone or whatever non customer service task they are dourly attending to. I had the opposite of this experience at Thunderbird. I was immediately greeted when I entered. I appreciated being assisted by a woman. She answered questions and allowed me to take time to sample the scents of many juices so I could find a good, non nicotine flavour. She knew her products and shared that their products are only obtained from reputable suppliers that test their product. I left with 60ml of juice that I can't wait to try. This will be my "go to" place for further juice and vaporizer purchases! read more

Bought a new product smok novo, faulty within the day I bought it. They were very quick to respond and gave the replacement I asked for. After 3 days the replacement had the same issue, sent an email about this advising at this stage that I had got rid of the packaging as I thought this one wasn't faulty because it worked for a few days. No reply since. I had spent over 80 dollars on the product, juices and new pods to be ignored. Won't shop here again. read more

I am throughly impressed with this shop. I'm not too new to vaping however, I am new to the upkeep and experience of buying these products. The two employees were extremely helpful, knowledgable and friendly. They provided helpful recommendations on flavours and even cleaned my ... Thingy (can't remember the name). I've been to a lot of vape stores around Vancouver and this is by far my favorite. I actually walk past 3-4 other vape stores to take the bus to this store. It's the best. I love going in, sitting at the bar and sampling their many flavors. The staff are really friendly and love to have a bit of a chit-chat. They're very patient and let you try as many flavors as you like. They play nice chill music in there and it's a really laid back vibe inside the store. At some other places like "Eastside Vapes" or "EZ Vapes" the staff make you feel like you're inconveniencing them by asking to try a flavor and they think they're gods gift to the earth because they run a vape store. Seriously, one time I went into "EZ Vapes" and the guy working there was eating and watching sport on the computer. I was literally the only customer in the store and he barely said a word to me. Awful. The flavours they have are really quality. My favourite would have to be... - "Beaver Tail" by "Alchemy Air". It's like a rich honey tobacco flavour. - "Pearson" by "Moshi". A fruity mint flavour that's not too sweet and not to minty. They've always got deals on juices. Three 10ml bottles for $25 I think? The prices are just as good as any of the other stores around town. Full support. 10/10 would recommend. read more

I am extremely unsatisfied with Thunderbird Vapes. I went as a new customer and felt very well taken care of during my first visit. The man who helped me told me to try (emphasis on the try) a 35 mg e liquid as the 50 mg liquid would be "too thick" for my Juul device. I tried the 35 mg and it is far too weak. I emailed them asking if they would be able to offer me an exchange. Nope. I then emailed asking if they would be able to adjust the strength. Nope. I have been to several vape stores and many have offered one or the other (or both) - exchange or adjusting the strength. This is very shocking to me that they would not go out of their way to satisfy a new customer as they are a small business. Will definitely not be returning and I warn others to avoid this lack-of-customer-appreciation spot. read more

Stopped in here when I was in a pinch and needed to pick up some juice, as I live around Get Vaped and ESV. The store had recently opened, so it was understandable that the place was a little bare. The lady working there at the time was very friendly and helpful, and had answered any questions I had. Decent selection of product, and friendly atmosphere. No real complaints, but the only reason why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that their prices are higher than everywhere else. Which, in all fairness -- you pay for convenience, right? I've been a patron of this vape shop since February and have never had a negative experience here. Wide selection of products and friendly staff. I have never felt like I was a 2nd class citizen or treated rudely here. They are generous when it comes to sampling ejuice and are helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to selecting mods and atomizers. If you are new to vaping they will set you up good and not seek to drain you of all your hard earned cash. Very nice folks, competitive pricing, a clean professional looking store, and overall a class act in our local vaping industry and culture. I recommend this vape shop. read more

Customer service was very good. However, I think it is worth warning about the return policy. In particular the electronic vaporizers. Receipt says "Final Sale". I'm told it's because of the sanitary aspect of the product. This makes sense. The product can't really be sold as 'refurbished' when the used RMA product returns to the store and they have already exchanged you a new one. Just be weary because if your unit needs to go back to the supplier via RMA you will be at the mercy of the supplier RMA process and could be sending your unit back to the USA. Personally, I had to deal with Grenco. So far they have been very helpful with the RMA process. Thunderbird has helped too by contacting them. Like I said, very good customer service. read more

I bought my first mod here last year and i have been a regular. But today they just lost a customer. The staff who was helping me was very impatient. Maybe because she was pregnant. I was going to buy juice and coil as I was about to pay I was pulling my stamps card to avail the discount for being a loyal customer. She rushed me to pay cause there are customers lining up. I felt disrespected cause I am also a customer. She apologised at the end but the damage is done. Thanks for the service tho. read more

Mmmm... Great smell in the store . Great customer service . The guy who helped me was knowledgeable about the products and their differences. He was not pushy and allowed me to decide based on my purpose of buying a e cig for my man who is trying to quit smoking. Only problem going to the store was finding a parking . read more

I really wanted to like this shop... Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable and they have a great selection at decent prices, however I have now purchased two seperate kits in less than a year that have died due to manufacturers defects which I was unable to get replaced under warranty. Thunderbird would not replace my devices and the Chinese manufacturers are effectively impossible to deal with and in my most recent case do not even offer their "warrany" to Canadian customers. The bottom line is vapes are cheap Chinese made garbage and they will break, so if buying retail affords you no protection whatsoever you might as well yourself some money and and buy your devices online. They have a good selection of Juice, but will also not mix nicotine levels at a customer's request unlike every other shop I've ever dealt with so if they have what you're looking for they are a decent option but I will not be shopping here any longer. read more

Great service, selection, and prices! My partner and I had just gotten back into vaping and came back to Thunderbird after almost a year away, we decided to buy new vapes and 1 of them had a few problems (that totally weren't Thunderbird's fault but the suppliers), the owners immediately replaced a faulty coil free of charge when we had to come back the day after purchase, even without a receipt they remembered exactly who we were and at what time we came in so they could send us another receipt that was somehow lost in transit. Also the day after that when the glass to the tank broke they replaced it by taking the glass from another new tank off another one of their brand new vape kits they had in store rather than us having to wait a month to re-order a new one! Again Thunderbird goes above and beyond with service to their customers! This store is probably the best in Vancouver, it was the first we ever went to but out of curiosity we visited a few of the other bigger competitors last year just to see what the others were like and we always come back here. Nowhere else compares when it comes to this place; there's just a great relaxed attitude about the place, great selection, great prices, and just amazing staff and owners so you feel good about buying from here because you know it's going to good people who have pride in running a good business! Seriously I would rate this place higher if I could, go check them out! There's a reason why this place has never received anything lower than 4 stars from any reviewer, it's just a well run business, period. read more

i went to this store hoping it would be good because i live in the area and i enjoy vaping. unfortunately, it was very bad. the people working here are very unknowledgable. there selection is almost none and their prices are very high compared to the other stores and i have been to, and i have been to alot of them. which is too bad because i was hoping it would be my go to store beause i only live 2 blocks from it. i would not reccomend this store to anyone and i will never be back! read more
