This is a really cool venue!! Parking is free with all events and we were warned to go early because of some previous concerts having issues. We came early for the Live & Collective Soul concert and tailgated in the parking lot. We started to walk to the venue at 555p for a 6p start. We weren't too worried since we had reserved floor seats. After you go through security, they check your bags. You need a small clutch or a clear bag and your refillable water bottle needs to be squeezable so leave your metal ones at home. When you stand at the top, you can see the Ozarks behind the stage and it's picture perfect. We walked down to our seats and after the opening band, we were offered pit wristbands so we gladly made our way to the pit. There was a drunk man who was bumping everyone and trying to get handsy on all the women, including some minors. He had tried to grab the lady behind us but her husband stopped him. He then moved behind me so the hubs became my buffer but the guy kept grabbing my hubs. The hubs yelled at him to go away and since the hubs yelled loud enough over the band, security heard him and escorted the man away since he was such a problem to everyone. Leaving was so easy and simple. It appears they can handle smaller crowds simply, but I heard about the Post Malone & Jelly Roll concert and am so glad we didn't experience that. read more

What a beautiful Amphitheatre! Walking in from parking the Ozark mountains frame the venue. You can walk or take a tram to and from the parking lots. The tram crew made the ride fun and you get an immediate taste of true Ozark hospitality. After getting off the tram, I'm not gonna lie, it's a little confusing in where to go. There is a vendor space with food trucks, retail vendors and some non profits, oh and a sick DJ. Very party atmosphere. We pre-bought a knock of tee short in the parking lot, and then an official shirt at the tee shirt booth. We found the path into the theater, use the QR code to get free wifi, as service is a little sketch. Have your electronic tickets ready! Once in, the space is amazing and well designed. The bathroom is the nicest I have ever seen at a large venue. There is a really pretty painting on the ceiling. The grass seating is large and nice, probably the best view. We sat down on the floor, there is no slope so hopefully you aren't behind the Jolly green Giant or a guy with a 10 gallon hat. We watched the giant screens a lot. The seating is sloped and you can rent chairs to sit in. This will be my choice if we come to a show here again. Come prepared or prepared to spend some money. $12 for two waters. Ouch! You can bring a bottle in with you. Next, I had ear plugs, but needed a set for my son. There were no free ones at guest services or first aid. Most venues have them. Soooo, $40 I bought some new fancy noise canceling ear plugs. Double ouch. The kicker is I got all the way back down to my seats and the box was empty. I went all the way back up the hill, the booth was closed, Creed was no playing, and I was getting more mad. I found someone to help me and they got me a sealed package. The concert was incredible! Leaving, not so good. We walked maybe a mile back to our car, the trams filled up fast and we didn't want to wait. Oh, but waiting we did. In the parking lot for 1.5 hours. Note to oneself, leave before the encore or tailgate in the parking lot. Three stars for the parking lot and cost of things. Five stars for the physical venue and Midwest Friendly staff. Getting access to the Cody Johnson concert last Saturday was like herding cats. It's my understanding that driving to it (all only 2 lanes!) and once getting inside the outdoor venue was highly disorganized. There is no established signage for lines to follow. People seemed to line up everywhere, making it difficult to find the best lanes to get in the be allowed inside. It is the most disorganized venue I've ever been in to gain entrance to the concert. There was a lack of planning for the large crowd expected (13,000+). However, the view and weather could not have been better. If you plan on going, plan accordingly. read more

This is a great location to watch a concert on a summer/ fall night. There's a lot to see and do. They provide lawn chairs for rent at $25 but they sell out fast. They also offer blankets if you are sitting on the lawn. Most beer prices start at $10 and up. Food looked good but I did not eat here. The only down fall about going to a concert here is the parking when leaving. It will take you 1 -3 hours to get out due to one way out! Beautiful arena! Food was great! Getting in was kind of a nightmare, no line control while waiting for the gates to open. Getting out was honestly better than the reviews we read beforehand, so I don't have any complaints about that. Mostly a positive experience but I have to share an encounter I witnessed. Before Cody Johnson's openers went on, one of your supervisors was downright disrespectful to a group of very nice guys and gals serving beer and water at the mid hill restroom/refreshment area. It was just starting to get busy and she walked up and demanded that any free time needed to be spent restocking. She was hateful and demanding and never said please or thank you. When a staff member asked for clarity on a process on how not to serve warm beer (loading on a specific side, etc.), the supervisor just yelled at him not to argue with her. The supervisors name was August, and I am afraid there are a few people that probably don't care to work for her if this is what they deal with. The view and venue itself once you make it inside, is amazing. With it being an outdoor concert venue, artists are able to use fireworks. The bathrooms were clean and plenty of stalls. In the women's restroom, there was attendant letting people know when stalls were available. Now that's the good. Here comes the bad. For a place that has been open awhile, they have no idea how to direct traffic into and out of this venue. You need to easily plan on 1 hour coming in and another hour coming out. At one point in the bottle neck, one of the workers directing traffic said I have no clue what's going on. Seriously!?!! She's supposed to be directing traffic. It made no sense to have traffic drive in one lane when clearly there are more than 1 line to drive on. So after that fiasco, then you get to stand like a herd of cows to wait for them to open the gates. Keep in mind, you have no idea if you are standing in line for the restroom or to get into venue. You also need to imagine 2 lines wrapping around in different directions like a maze. I was talking to people who have been here before and they said it is always like this. That's ridiculous. This could be a great concert venue but you need to figure out the logistics aspects first. read more

Beautiful venue and awesome concept. Somehow they are getting all of the truthful 1 star reviews deleted. Avoid this venue at all costs. Traffic in and out takes 4+ hours in each direction. It took us 4 hours to get from our hotel 15 miles away to get to our seats. Missed both openers for the Jelly Roll/Post Malone concert. Thousands of Oriole weren't even luck to make it inside. They oversell concerts and turn away people with tickets. Not enough parking spaces for the number of tickets sold. If you pay extra for parking, hopefully there will be a spot for you as they don't even check if you actually paid. read more

We have been to 3 concerts here. The last two there was pot smoking everywhere. We purchase premium tickets but Johnny doesn't care enough to keep trashy pot smoking out and that will end it for us. Otherwise, it would be 5 stars. Pretty sad that it's allowed with families everywhere. read more

Let's start with the good things. We thought the concessions were great and the lines for the bathrooms were pretty short. It was a beautiful night when we were there and the overall setting has natural beauty to it. We had heard so many people talking about parking issues getting in and out that we actually left during the encore because you could sense that it was going to be really bad and, hey, if you leave a minute early, it was actually easy too get out. It looks like people have harped on many of our issues already and getting in to the concert was a backed up mess, but our biggest issue was all the seats in the reserved section are on flat ground. So it was totally fine for the opening act while lots of people were sitting but as soon as everyone stood up, then only the tallest 5 or 10 % of people could see and no one else could see anything. I am assuming with all the great acts coming to Thunder Ridge, they are going to work on fixing this...not sure how, but it is currently not great to go to a concert and not be able to see at all. THUNDER RIDGE HAS ALL THE INGREDIENTS FOR THE NEXT NETFLIX TRAIN-WRECK SERIES! I've been to a lot of venue and a lot of different concerts. This was by far the worst and most concerning. I've never worried about my safety at a show until attending the Post Malone / Jelly Roll show in June 2025. They ran out of drinking water. (Mid June Outside...) Custodian must not have been informed it was event day. Trash was overflowing everywhere. Security was non existent. There was an issue with a mentally unstable man starting fights around us and causing issues to the point where we were more focused on making sure we were safe instead of enjoying the show. Any other venue would have had security around to jump in and deescalate the situation. But at Thunder ridge you are on your own. I just hope and pray a major issue doesn't arise because there's one way in the venue and one way out. You'll see plenty of reviews about the traffic. These are all FACTS! After the show we sit in the parking lot till 2:30 in the morning fighting traffic to get home. (We lived 3+ hours away.) I will never be attending a show there again. There's way to many concerning red flags that go way beyond being "inconvenience" Bass Pro... the place is beautiful. That's it. It's very unfortunate. read more

SHAMEFUL! I'm sure the venue itself is beautiful. But don't bother with it. We had tickets to Post Malone and Jelly Roll and paid for seats rather close to the stage. Sat in traffic, solely due to this event, for four hours and averaged a speed of 2.5 mph. By the time we finally did arrive at the turn off into the concert our estimated time of arrival was still another hour and 50min out. Never made the concert. Hopefully we'll be able to get a refund, but from the many other reviews that have since been deleted, it seems unlikely. Johnny Morris and ThunderRidge Nature Arena have no business putting on shows that they cannot manage and accommodate! This is nothing more than a shameless cash grab it on his part. And what is even worse is that many others felt this way and their one star reviews that were posted yesterday have now disappeared. Reading them was the primary source of entertainment we had that evening, as we sat in the car watching others attempt walking instead. The Google rating had dropped from a 3.6 to a 3.2 within 12 hours and now it's back up to 3.7 after all of those reviews have been erased. Absolutely shameful! In the time that we were in traffic, trying to get to this event, we could've driven to Kansas City to see the show in a space that can actually handle the demands. And between Thunder Ridge nature arena and Ticketmaster holding out on refunds, and these reviews mysteriously vanishing, I encourage everyone to avoid this place and try and see your favorite artists somewhere else. We had tickets for the Post Malone concert in June, 2025, and the venue's process for getting into the arena is the worst we have ever seen. We were stuck in traffic on HWY 65 for over 5 hours and missed the show. Those ahead of us who did make it to the arena were told the parking lots were full and were turned away. The venue obviously over-sold the show and have zero knowledge of how to handle the amount of traffic they should have anticipated based on the amount of tickets they sold. HWY Patrol were posted near the round-about and stood by watching while cars raced down the shoulder and ditches to cut traffic, cars were cutting each other off on the turns, and they did nothing to even try to control the chaos. We have been going to concerts all over for more than 25 years, including outdoor arenas and anpitheaters, and have never seen this level of mis-management. We traveled from another state, spent money on the tickets, hotel, food, fuel, used PTO at work, arranged for pet sitters and more, all for nothing. Never again. read more

Thunder Ridge Nature Arena - A Catastrophic Experience I attended the Post Malone/Jelly Roll concert at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena on June 13, 2025, and it was one of the most poorly managed events I've ever experienced. I paid $532.85 for two tickets through Ticketmaster, Thunder Ridge's official partner. What followed was a six-and-a-half-hour ordeal that left us exhausted, disappointed, and furious. The concert start time was moved up to 6:30PM the day before, but gates didn't open until 5:30PM. We hit a complete traffic standstill 5.3 miles from the venue at 4:30PM and didn't reach the property until 10:00PM. Parking attendants were disorganized and overwhelmed, waving cars into overflowing lots with no direction. We had to create our own parking spot and walk 20 minutes in the dark to reach the entrance. Security was laughably inadequate--metal detectors were waved around without checking zipped bags that could have easily concealed weapons. Then, my mobile ticket wouldn't scan because I wasn't connected to their WiFi. Their WiFi wasn't even available. An attendant had to manually search for my name on a tablet before we were allowed in. Navigating to our section was dangerous and chaotic, with uneven steps and no lighting. We finally reached our seats at 10:55PM, just in time to catch the last act. The concert ended at 11:30PM, and it took two more hours to exit the venue and reach the highway. Thunder Ridge later blamed the traffic disaster on a fatal accident, but the Missouri State Highway Patrol confirmed that the crash occurred at 2:00PM and had no impact on concert traffic. This was a failure of planning, organization, and basic crowd management. I contacted Thunder Ridge requesting a refund. After multiple emails and providing proof of purchase from Ticketmaster, they falsely claimed I bought tickets from an "unauthorized seller." I sent three separate emails from Ticketmaster confirming my purchase. They stopped responding entirely. I even wrote to Johnny Morris, CEO of Bass Pro Shops and owner of Thunder Ridge. No reply. This venue has a history of logistical failures, and despite promises to improve, nothing has changed. If you're considering attending an event here, think twice before spending your hard-earned money. I still expect a full refund--and I hope this review helps others avoid the same nightmare. read more

So many terrible reviews here and on google, my friend and I almost bowed out and planned to suck up the $600 for our two reserved seat tickets. So glad we didn't! Our experience was good! Let me lay it down: * We had reserved seats so no way we were going "early" to get in despite the bad the bad reviews and suggestions to be there by 2/3pm. * We left Branson Landing at 5:15ish and was in the parking lot tailgating by 6:10. *** IMPORTANT!!!!: Buy the premium or preferred parking!!! This gets you closest to the entrance of the venue but also while everyone is driving and sitting bumper to bumper to get in to park, the left lane, about half way in is for preferred parking ONLY. I can't tell you the glee we felt driving with no stopping all the way to our lot. It costs but it's worth it. I have no idea where general parking is. We never saw it. Back in the woods. I read it's a hike and you have to wait on trams. We did see those running but they don't hold a lot of people at once. No idea where rideshare drops but tell your driver to stay in the left lane and then follow directions on the website FAQ's. * Is there walking? Oh yes. Even in the preferred lot, you have to walk up to the ridge entrance but it's not too bad and we are in our out of shape 50's and did ok. Not sure what ADA do, there isn't front door parking. We skipped the fan zone of things. Not even sure what was there * Security will stop you for vapes upon entering so leave it in your car. * Don't worry about getting a wristband for alcohol (don't forget your ID tho) when it's crowded walking in, unless you want a drink right then. They had several people inside doing wristbands too. * There are stairs on the sides of the lawn to get to reserved seating. The seats are locked together (so that post about chairs missing made no sense) and they are padded. * The bathrooms were very big and climate controlled. A ton of stalls and sinks ladies. * The multiple bars were easy to get to for mixed drinks, plus they had beer cooler stands and cans in the marketplace tents. No cash! Bring your card and prepare to spend some bank of you want to drink * Food seemed scarce but in the marketplace tents was all kinds of snacks like a mini convenience store (chips, candy, jerky, etc) and had warmed hot dogs and I believe pulled pork sandwiches. Just eat a late big lunch and you will be fine. * Do people stand up when the show starts, yes or depending on the song. I could stand to see the stage or just look up at the screens * I highly recommend getting a front row seat in any section or an aisle seat. We had row 1 in section 11. The walkway is in front of us but had a lot of legroom. Behind us they had very little legroom which would be a huge pain for anyone needing to get up and get out of the row. People walking in front of us died down during the show and didn't bother us. ((Sections do vary based on show. For the Stones there is no 11 because the stage comes out where that section would be). If you are looking at the stage, the left front sections should have shade late afternoon. Our section did not. * There is an air conditioned store for ThunderRidge merch that sold neck fans fully charged. Game changer- bring one with you * We left during encore and got out with zero issue and zero traffic slowing us down. It was great. Missed a couple good songs but very worth it not to sit in mass exit traffic. I would go back for sure. Huge venue. I just may choose the right time of year because of weather. This is a great idea and place for a music venue - but it's executed extremely poorly and there's no way to speak to anyone besides the receptionist. We purchased our parking pass for Imagine Dragons in April. The barcode for the pass appeared in the app almost instantly so I assumed all was good. Last week, I received an email saying I would receive my pass in the mail this week. I was confused - apparently they don't have the technology to read barcodes so they mail out hard passes. Fast forward to today (Friday) 2 days from the show. My wife stayed at our house (1.5 hours away) waiting for the mail to run. It finally did and there was no pass. Our friends in Little Rock received theirs earlier today. I called the only number listed for the venue to see if I could pick up at venue or have the pass delivered (we're staying on property). They told me the only thing I could do was drive 40 minutes round trip to Branson Landing. The last thing we want to do is lose an hour plus of our vacation fighting Branson traffic chasing a pass we spent $80 on in April. It's absurd that they waited this long to mail out passes that were purchased in April. Even if they had a hold, mail them with a courier that can get them in time to an address only 49 miles away. read more

This place is very organized. The primary disappointment is getting to the reserved seating area, which is via several steps going down the open-seating grass area and there are no hand rails to help with stability. Then you get to walk back up the same stairs. Seems like the venue makes enough money to install proper hand rails. Folding chairs, albeit padded, is the reserved seating and they are extremely tight. If an oversized person (several around this area) is seated next to you, you get to enjoy them in a portion of your space the entire show. Parking is a disaster when leaving. We sat in our car for over 1/2 hour waiting to see moving tail lights; thus, we finally went the opposite way and found our way out via the back side of the venue. Since my sister and I do not walk real well, Tim McGraw will be our one and only time at this arena. read more

If you want to avoid the traffic to Thunder Ridge go early. They open their gates around 2pm and open the venue around 5pm. Weather played a factor and I'm guessing a lot of people including myself waited. Have you ever been to Red Rocks in Colorado? First class venue just like Thunder Ridge with the same traffic issues. We had family drive from out of state to go to the Jelly roll, Post show. We got a hotel in Branson 12 minutes away, we left after our 3pm check in. It took us 5 hours to get to the gate for them to tell us our parking is full we cannot let anyone in. We finally found a way back to the road and left. It looks like they double booked this event. Terrible! Too many issues that need to be addressed before I'll ever return. EXTREMELY long delays getting parked. Be prepared to be parked on 65HWY for a long period of time! Not enough lanes to flow visitors in and out. The biggest issue is there's only one way in and out. Took one and a half hours to travel 5 miles is ridiculous. I can get in and out of an NFL stadium faster! No one directing traffic or checking parking passes that were bought in advance is very frustrating. Multiple employees were unsure and couldn't answer questions when asked. Not enough lighting on uneven waking trails in and out of venue. Not enough signage to direct visitors both parking and walking. Very easy to get lost or turned around. No safe walkway on the main road for the farthest parking areas so you have to walk on the shoulder of the road. Chaos at food and drink markets. You can buy beers anywhere at stands then walk through the market with it to get food and then the employee thinks you didn't pay for it but you already did... For people buying alcohol you have to get a wristband which is nice but you have to find the employee that's checking IDs but they are surrounded by a crowd of people. So you have to force your way up to the front to get noticed to get one. There should be a huge Id check station with formed lines but that makes too much sense. Also if you buy seats next to the stage or lower sections, it's very easy to walk in without going up to the employee to have them check your tickets so you can get a stamp. The stamp allows you to leave the area and return without showing you tickets again during concert. If you plan to attend a concert here just be prepared for a complete mess. read more

We tried to go to Jelly Roll and Post Malone and it was the biggest logistical nightmare ever. It took us 3 hours to go 7 miles. We missed all of Jelly Roll. There was no one directing traffic. We saw ome state patrol that was at the exit off of 65 who was in his car on his phone and not helping at all. This was the worst venue I have ever been to and I will NEVER Go to a concert again. I will never buy anything from Bass Pro Shops again. Don't drive people. You can walk faster than you can drive. No need to buy a fast pass. Nothing is fast. We bought expensive tickets to see Post Malone and drove from Ozark--just 40 minutes away--but thanks to the absolute disaster that is the traffic situation, it took us over 5 miserable hours and we still didn't even make it into the arena. We paid extra for premium parking, and by the time we finally got there, every single spot was gone--like that money just vanished. Johnny Morris dumped a fortune into building this arena and had the nerve to claim the traffic issues from earlier concerts were "fixed." Clearly not. It was chaos from start to finish. We saw exactly one state trooper, just sitting in his car glued to his phone, doing absolutely nothing to help the gridlock or the lost and frustrated drivers. The good news is there is only room for improvement. Wife and I spent a significant amount of money to upgrade our tickets to see Garth Brooks and the VIP experience. Staff in the lodge was top notch and hands down, the bright spot of the show. Downgrades to this review are due to no safe entry and exit to VIP seating and having to Wade through thousands of people to exit. If there was a zero star for the experience, I'd give it over and over again. They GROSSLY oversold the venue. The traffic into the facility was HORRIBLE!!!! The venue simply doesn't have the infrastructure to host any moderate sized event and this was a huge event. I live 40 miles from the venue and we left 3 hours before the opening acts were scheduled to take the stage. We missed two opening acts and one of the two headliners before finally making it into the parking lot. Once in the parking area there were absolutely ZERO parking attendants to direct traffic in any way. It was complete chaos. We made it into the facility about 5 min before the main headliner took the stage. There were very few places to sit and the places that were available put you at such an angle that you were basically sliding down the hill constantly. This was literally the worst concert experience at any venue that I've ever experienced by a very wide margin. This is all before the absolute sh*t show of trying to get out of the parking lots after the concert. It was a four hour ordeal to get out of the venue. The ONLY redeeming part of the concert was the performer that we actually got to see. (Post Malone) Every other aspect of the experience was the worst I've ever experienced. I will never spend another dollar to attend anything for any reason at this facility. ZERO STARS and a massive fail for Bass Pro. They learned nothing from the Garth Brooks disasters. Save your money and go to a facility that can actually handle the crowds and cares about the concert going experience. read more
