It was crowded, so I used axe target lanes with no metal barrier between them, but this worked out fine since my boyfriend used the other lane. Axe retrieval after each throw is recommended due to the damage fees charged if the axe thrown hits another axe. I definitely will be back to do more axe throwing and maybe try knife throwing while I'm at it.

Pretty cool that the climbing gym is built inside an old school theater. I came here with a group of Scouts to have them trained for top rope climbing, and the experience was epic. Two instructors taught our group to become self sufficient in tying in and belaying one another. By the end.of the session, our scouts were climbing independently. My youngest son and I tried the bouldering wall, and it was a good time. The routes were plenty with challenges for every skill level. The environment was chill too with friendly fellow climbers chatting it up and offering tips.

The coaches are just happier and pleasant people. The thing I notice that separates this club from the rest is that everyone here are pleasant people. There's no socially awkward people, or emotional vampires here. Everyone is pleasant, and respectful here. I'm an adult fencer, and let's face it, adult life and adult responsibilities are just awful. I work 40+ hours a week and I need a place of pleasantness, and peace. I really don't want conflict, or drama. The Fencing Center really is now my place of peace. I'm glad to be part of this community.
