The food is horrible and the service isn't much better. I don't know how a bar cannot know how to cook a burger.

Kaleva Tavern is under new management now called Three sisters. Three times I have went to eat,…read morehave a few drinks with friends and family. My review is based on those three occasions. Food was over priced and was less than mediocre. Service is actually laughable. I sat and watched as an older balding man, I think one of owners partner was taking orders, serving drinks and there was, I counted, 4 tables with two to three patrons waiting on their order and the one table waiting to order.. I'm watching this guy because that table was waiting and waiting as was my table. The guy grabbed his pad to walk over and take the tables order and at that time about 3 to 4 patrons together came in the front door the man rolled his eyes shook his head and went and took the one tables order. We eventually got our order taken and the chicken salad ordered was over priced and minimal, the chicken tenders were out of a bag, pick one up off the plate it bent over and not good at all especially for the price. To conclude if you are reading this review go 4 miles South on Highbridge to Trax bar and grill you would thank me if you personally knew me. Two star rating is for the Friday fish fry and salad, homemade pasta and dessert bar which was established by previous owners. Sorry Three Sisters but it's unacceptable.... Up charge $5.00 for fries on an overpriced hamburger?

They ignore you. They snap at customers. They roll their eyes. They'd rather stand there and talk to people at the bar than check on customers. The attitudes are nothing short of disgusting. The prices on their food is highway robbery. Food is below average to begin with. The bar has took a big nosedive since changing hands. These are not owners that care to keep customers coming in. Don't waste your time or money. You will go in being in a good mood and come miserable and disappointed. No hope for this place.

While up north, I knew I wanted to swing by Iron Fish to purchase some bottles of bourbon…read morebarrel-aged maple syrup (it's reason alone to go). My party suggested we stick around for dinner too, which I wasn't going to object to. I wasn't surprised to hear that we'd have a 35-minute wait on a Saturday. The staff was very accommodating and offered an empty room upstairs to wait and pass the time with some games. We asked if we could order some cocktails, and luckily the answer was yes. We placed an order with the hostess, and she brought those upstairs. Later, when there was a Shirley Temple spill, staff was gracious and whipped up another drink right away. Hospitality deserves five stars alone. What else deserves five stars? The cocktails of course. I had two "hotties," which were perfect with the wintry weather...and smart thinking. Who really wants a cold drink in January? The menu is simple, and much of the food is locally-sourced (huzzah). I vegetarian-ized the Christmas Dinner pizza, and it needed the saltiness/fatiness of the sausage. Still, I'll give points for creativity. Four stars. I get destination vibes from this spot, and I know I'll need to return in the summer months for the most optimal experience...but I was overall impressed with my winter trip. Five stars for Iron Fish Distillery!

The separate little shop they had where you could buy the liquor they make was really cute and unique. I liked the cozy, clean interior and overall feel. We already want to go back!
