I ordered the 2 pancakes with 2 eggs over easy. It was delicious and I would order it again. All the desserts look so delicious. We ordered a square of chocolate peanut butter fudge but it was not very good. Definitely don't recommend it. It was sweet and rich and could have used a little sea salt sprinkled on the top. Definitely did not taste like peanut butter... maybe more of a maple syrupy taste. We will be back again. They have special senior daily dinners too for people over 65 so if you're a senior you may want to dine here. Our waitress was kind and kept asking us if we needed anything. Definitely love the service here! The ambiance is very relaxing. We dined here around 8pm and the lights were dim and it was very comfortable. A perfect place to have dinner and talk.

Recently though, I went in and noticed that they do the what I call "the Covid excuse" of charging a percentage of using a credit card. I understand and get that a lot of these business establishments are doing it. However, 3 Brothers is charging this fee when using a debit card. When I went there today, I saw that sign and I asked the one gentleman who I believe might be the owner if that fee app applies to debit cards. He told me that the cash register/card swipe just does what it does which I know is BS. The lady walked up and asked me if there was an issue and I believe her to perhaps be his wife. I told the both of them that federally it's illegal to charge a percentage when it's a debit card. When I told her that she advised that there's ATM in the corner when I told her I'm not interested and I left. I'm not trying to create any sort of havoc for this family business. However, I don't appreciate as a longtime customer to be taken advantage of. If you look at the Attorney General of Illinois website it'll explain the charging the fee for a debit card is federally illegal. Until this restaurant changes its ways I'm not going there.

The scrambled eggs I ordered came out badly overcooked and barely resembled scrambled eggs - bland and not something I'd recommend. My mother's lemon ricotta pancakes didn't arrive until a good 10 minutes after my plate showed up. To her credit, the server apologized more than once and comped the pancakes. One bright spot: the donut holes came out piping hot and were genuinely delicious. Overall, I'd give this place some time to iron out the issues before trying it again -- or just stick with one of the local diners in town.

I was there on Easter Sunday with my family enjoying my (delicious) meal when we heard some commotion at a nearby table. The commotion was coming from a server who seemed to be having some sort of informal meeting with upper management. The server was basically yelling at upper management and being very rude. I don't even think upper management was able to get a word in. Since I'm always here with family, I know one of the managers on a first name basis (Eric). Eric is such a kind and helpful employee. He was one of the individuals being yelled at by this server. I'm not sure the other managers name but she had dark hair. They did a great job handling the very uncomfortable situation. I felt so bad for both of them having to deal with this situation on top of a holiday weekend. Besides the managers handling this situation with such grace, everything else was awesome!
