After a horrible experience talking with another vendor, we immediately clicked with Amy and felt that she understood what we were looking for (Gay dance pop!). Communication with her was straightforward and simple, and she took our basic playlists for different parts of the night and blended them to reflect our style and set the appropriate mood. She executed the music cues during our outdoor ceremony perfectly which we believe helped to elevate the whole experience. But the star of our experience with her was an amazingly packed and vibrant dance floor for the whole time. We got so many compliments on the music and everyone from our friends to coworkers and older relatives had a great time. One of our requests was to play a ton of Chappell Roan and Amy delivered, including a (potentially original?) dance mix of Pink Pony Club that was honestly transcendent. She even played a special song for a plushie toss (it's a story) without our prompting. Every part of working with her was wonderful and we'd wholehearted recommend her to any couple in the area looking for a wedding DJ.

The table settings were beautifully put together and helped brighten the space while incorporating the bride and groom's taste very well. The bartenders were friendly and on top of it, serving tasty drinks efficiently. As a gluten free diner, I'm always a little nervous during group functions like this but the staff did an impeccable job of keeping me informed of my options. During the passed apps portion of the evening, the server specifically approached me with options he knew I could have. Those potato cakes? Incredible. For the seated dinner, I enjoyed the half roasted chicken. It was juicy and flavorful and probably some of the best food I've ever had at a wedding. Based on my experience as a guest, I'd definitely recommend Gatherings By Woodberry Kitchen.

For our elopement reception cocktail party, we wanted to give our guests a taste of Baltimore's charm--and we knew from the start that Woodberry was the perfect place to do it. The event space alone is gorgeous, with the quintessential exposed brick and bistro lighting, making decor easy to simply add to the vibes. Jolanta also was so helpful in encouraging us to hire a photographer and music for our event that were both affordable and really added to the party. Our guests raved about the food, and we loved having local Baltimore craft beers as well as 2 custom cocktails to make our event really feel special to us. We cannot stop thinking about how amazing our event went--we will cherish these memories forever! Thank you Woodberry for giving us the night of a lifetime!
