They have the water containers that hang on the side of the cage like you would put in a rabbit cage(hanging water bottle), but it's NOT enough for the big dogs. They are all panting and very thirsty!! The least they could do is give them a big bowl of water. Maybe those water containers are enough for little tiny puppies, but definitely not as they get bigger because only tiny drops come out of those containers. Other than that, the animals seem well taken care of.

Don't buy a puppy from Petland...find a reputable breeder you can actually meet.

A helpful employee at this new store helped me verify they do not carry the Natural Balance cat food I was seeking - only the canine versions. I noticed reasonable prices for other cat products I may purchase in the future. I also noticed fish, reptiles, birds, grooming, training, a future veterinary site, and a good selection of cat and dog foods and toys at the new, clean and bright sales floor. Overall, very nice. I'd advise taking care with fish- they use RO water, so drip acclimation will be necessary if you're on KC tap water. The Pygmy's cories I got from them were healthy, but they needed a slow acclimation to be put into my quarantine. They're now in the display. They're knowledgeable about their fish and plants (I'd assume salt water as well, but I don't have a saltwater tank, so I can't say one way or the other). The plants I've purchased from them have been great, except for one buce brownie tissue culture that melted and hasn't come back, but apparently my tank doesn't like buce, because I've tired multiple times, and buce melts and never come back, so I don't fault them for that. Their plants are nearly always in good shape and happy. I did buy some downoi that was super leggy, and so I trimmed it to use only the best of it. It's there, in the tank, and I'm watching to see what it does. But the tissue culture of the downoi I got from them really took off, and is propagating just fine. Their cost is in line with online sellers when you factor in shipping. I'll continue to use them. I've been pleased with the knowledge of the employees and their locality.

I have one very picky dog who hates everything but loves those cookies. The store is always clean. The employees are always friendly and helpful. The store offers a good variety of products for all kinds of critters. The rewards program is pretty good and they frequently offer coupons. There is a self dog wash station. Occasionally, they host adoption pop ups too. They also have donation boxes at the front for various shelters. Definitely stop in for any needed pet supplies!

It's a true old school pet store in that regard, and keeps them entertained while my wife washes the dog. The dog wash is what you'd expect; a variety of shampoos and conditioners, as many towels as you need, and capped off with a 120 decibel air dryer that terrifies nearly every dog that comes in contact with it. My dog doesn't like any part of this process, but boy is he spry and happy when it's over. His most recent bath was quite overdue, and has him challenging world records for fluffiness. Staff here is always friendly, and they carry some nice treats/toothbrushes/food toppers that we will occasionally add on as well.
