The owner was incredibly sweet and friendly, and we had a great conversation while she prepared my drinks. She even offered to warm up my coffee cake, which was such a thoughtful little touch. It's those small details that really make an experience stand out. I also loved seeing the family support! Her brother was outside flipping the sign and helping bring attention to the shop. I love seeing a new local business being supported like that. I ordered the traditional cinnamon roll and a sea salt chocolate chip cookie. The cinnamon roll had really good flavor, especially the frosting and dough, and I thought the cinnamon-to-roll ratio was perfect. It was served slightly warm, but I did find the roll to be a little dry. The cookie, however, was easily my favorite. The combination of chocolate chips and sea salt was so good that I would honestly go back for a dozen cookies before getting another cinnamon roll. The customer service was pretty standard and not particularly personable, but the food was the main reason I stopped in. Overall, I enjoyed trying the spot, and that cookie definitely gave me a reason to come back.
