I hadn't eaten pastries for a long time, but the moment I walked into this bakery, I completely forgot about my daily diet! Everything I tried was so worth it. They said they import their ingredients from France. If you're curious, you should just try them without overthinking it. You truly can taste the passion for excellence in every bite. It's right there in The Krate, off I-75 at SR 54 in Wesley Chapel. There are limited parking spots along the street out front and ample parking just steps away. The adorable little shop has only one or two tables inside but there are several cute outdoor tables. When I walked in, around 9am on a weekday, it was so bright and cheerful inside. The woman who took my order was very nice and made good recommendations. I ordered the gorgeous croissant a l'emmental and a beautiful berry pastry. I wish I could tell you I ate one there and took the other home for the next day. But that's not what happened! I got to the car with the second one and savored the whole thing right there. I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to enjoy both of them popping fresh. They were melty and so incredibly delicious-and I so appreciate the obvious talent and care baked into each one. They import butter and flour from France, which makes a difference, too. I believe that was the reason because the vanilla on the bottom was not as dry but edible. The flavors were good but I think they sold me old cake. They had so many baked goods that I had to just keep walking because I would've spent some moneyyyy in there. Formal Customer Complaint…read more Dear Store Manager, I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the extremely disrespectful, humiliating, and unacceptable treatment I received at Lotte Market in Tampa, Florida. I ordered seafood and was told that it would take approximately 20 minutes. I patiently waited for about 30 minutes before politely asking when my order would be ready. The seafood department manager responded rudely by saying, "If you can't wait, go home." I was completely shocked by the way he spoke to me. After he made that comment, another male employee and a female employee who works in the food court laughed at me. The three employees involved were Korean. One of the men was the seafood department manager, and the woman worked in the food court. Feeling deeply humiliated, I asked the female employee why she was laughing at me. Instead of responding professionally, she raised her voice in front of many customers, treated me as though I were a crazy person, and shouted, "Shut up!" I was so shocked and emotionally overwhelmed that I began to cry. I felt publicly humiliated, insulted, degraded, and deeply embarrassed. Being laughed at and yelled at in front of other customers caused me extreme emotional distress. I felt as though my dignity had been completely taken away from me. I left the store in tears. I am still deeply upset and ashamed because of the way these employees treated me. No customer should ever be mocked, verbally abused, or intentionally humiliated by store employees. The store manager arrived only after the incident had already occurred. I explained the entire situation and requested that the store review its surveillance footage and investigate all of the employees involved. I formally request that Lotte Market conduct a thorough investigation, review all available CCTV footage, interview the employees involved, and take appropriate disciplinary action. Employees who behave this way should not be allowed to continue representing your company. I expect this matter to be taken very seriously. I also request a formal written response explaining what action will be taken. I intend to pursue legal action regarding this incident. Sincerely,
