It was in a dangerous position so they came right away and got it done with their boom. In the process they noticed a few other branches and took care of them for nothing extra. I was impressed by how well they knew trees. Great to work with. Very professional. Also, they work directly with the insurance company, which is a major relief.

They do a lot of advertising so I guess that's where a lot of it goes. Also there's extra cost of having a person just for giving estimates. Downsides could be details not conveyed to the crew or having to explain it again. On the plus side, they were available fairly quickly. Or is that a bad thing? I guess if you have an emergency and need tree work done right away and money is not a priority, give them a call. But if you have time, always get multiple quotes and check their insurance and licenses, don't just trust their word.

Kudos to Ivester Tree, LLC. I had a small job - removing a juniper that was planted 21 years ago. I…read morewas afraid my project was too small for a company like Ivester to even worry about. But I was wrong, in fact, because it was small they were able to fit me in at the end of another project when they had a few minutes left at the end of a day. I had tried removing the juniper with my small 40v chainsaw and realized quickly that it was going to take me hours and then it would be a real pain to get rid of the cut shrub. I had 2 tall aspen suckers that came up in the middle of the juniper. I was going to try to save the aspens; however, once the juniper was expertly cut away from around those aspens, the trees didn't have the trunk strength to hold the trees upright. So the aspens had to go too. I was amazed watching the young man carefully remove the juniper branches from around the aspens without hurting the aspens. The other thing that complicated the removal - when Xfinity burried my cable, they took it through the middle of the juniper so Ivester's crew had to be careful to not cut my cable while they were chainsawing the rest of the juniper. They were great! The young man using the chainsaw is quite skilled. About a year ago, I watched them take out a large tree next to my neighbor's house. It was amazing how they were able to take down such a tall tree without damaging the house or the fence. I highly recommend Ivester Tree, LLC. The staff is very personable. During a windstorm, a very large limb from our willow tree fell on the pasture fence. We called…read moreApo because a few years ago he had removed a large tree from our park strip which was damaging the sidewalk. His four man crew was there early the next morning with a tree boom and chipper and took care of not only the fallen limb, but took out the dead wood from the tree and parts overhanging the roof. While they were here, I asked them to take the overhanging limbs on the roof from a large tree in front which they did. The whole job was completed and completely cleaned up by 12:30 PM! They were very efficient and professional. They really know what they are doing! The quality was excellent and the value unmatched! I highly recommend them!
