Three Blue Ducks is a small licensed restaurant located up the hill from Bronte Beach in Sydney. Owned by a friendly bunch of guys who take both food and fun seriously, Three Blue Ducks offers some of the best food in town.
Eating and drinking - Honest, innovative and local
We source the best local produce to create unique dishes with bags of flavour - morning, noon and night. Many fresh ingredients come straight from our kitchen garden on-site. Our bar stocks quality boutique beers, ciders and wine. Plus the coffee is to die for. We use organic, Fairtrade, biodynamic and locally sourced products wherever we can.
Sustainable food and environmental practices
We love our local community and work to promote sustainable food practices with our foodie friends, and by supporting initiatives such as Grow it Local, and setting up footpath herb gardens for all to share. All of our organic waste is collected and composted by locals, and local community gardens, that inturn grow amazing food for local families. We also try to do our environmental bit by making renewable energy from our rooftop solar power system for use in the kitchen and dining areas. Our cleaning chemicals are eco-friendly, non-toxic and biodegradable, and we used biodegradable takeaway containers.

History
Established in 2026.
The Ducks is a great story of food, born in the surf! It all started with three good mates travelling the world, cultivating ideas around a better, more sustainable approach to eating and living. During this time, with a shared belief for cooking food that is delicious and ethical, Three Blue Ducks was hatched.
We returned to Bronte to enjoy the coastal surf lifestyle and soon our crew of three grew to six. We became friends organically over our love of sharing great food with no frills, cooking, fishing and surfing together, whilst maintaining an ethical and sustainable business that we are amazingly proud of to this day!
Since opening our flagship Three Blue Ducks restaurant in Bronte, we’ve opened an authentic and relaxed range of dining venues in Byron Bay, Rosebery, Melbourne, Nimbo and Bellingen.

Let us evoke the madness within, with flavours from " The Americas" and far distant lands. May we celebrate the strange and wonderful experiences of travel, music, food and drink in the company of friends,strangers and new comrades. Locura is a late night bar set in the heart of Byron Bay with a modern minimalist aesthetic. The bar is accompanied by a Latin Americian inspired food and bar menu by Three Blue Ducks and the award winning bar tender Tim Phillips. The venue is a space for people to enjoy the company of others whilst being entertained by the sophisticated music direction of internationally recognised producer Jono Ma. There is a hint of Locura at the heart and soul of any memorable or delicious experience. May we bring you ours and help you embrace yours.
