A must stop if you're in Old Town or looking for a treat after dinner. Shout out to Eli and Mikaela! Drinks are phenomenal. I went with the Mochasado and she went with the Salted Caramel. Honestly can't go wrong with either. The Salted Caramel is a bit more on the sweeter side. Mochasado has a good blend with the espresso and dark chocolate. They also have a secret menu and I ordered the Dude. It was also very good and I recommend it. The secret menu also includes a Thin Mints flavor and heard it was delicious from the other people sitting at the bar. Go check them out! Went here after dinner, I really wanted coffee. Usually, most coffee places closes early. So glad we stumbled across this place. The vibe and atmosphere is chill, not to loud, music selection was great. Super cute place and the decor is awesome. I just love this place, great concept. Im not a fan of expresso martini but my partner is. He did order banana bread and salt de caramel. Which both was fantastic, if I had to pick it would be the banana bread martini. I had regular basic coffee hot latte, which was really good. They do have croissants, wine and beer. The staff there was excellent, super chill and over friendly. It can get a little loud but it was fine for my friends and me to catch up. The service was really attentive and nice. Details: It's about $18 a drink which I feel is pretty steep for what they were serving - I've had much better at a lower price. I had the carajillo (my favorite of the two) & the banana bread (has a hint of banana flavor but not much). My friend had the thin mint (not on menu & tooooo minty). Three Beans Coffee Company might honestly be my favorite coffee spot in the world. The vibe is classy but still relaxed, with that perfect casual upscale feel that makes you want to stay for hours. They have beautifully crafted coffee drinks and even an espresso martini bar, which makes the whole experience feel a little extra special. The cups and drinkware are gorgeous and thoughtfully chosen, and the whole place just feels elevated. We found a 2 top table along the wall and browsed the short menu of martinis. My date went to the bar to order. Within a few minutes the host brought out our martinis. Both were delicious. The banana bread was like a dessert, and my date enjoyed it. It's a fairly chill space with probably 10 seats at the bar and another 10 or so inside, plus a few outside bar seats. There was music playing, though I can't recall specifics as we were pretty involved in our own conversations. The chairs were very comfy and I would absolutely return. Prices are roughly $16-20 per drink. Side note for those who are caffeine sensitive like me: you can request decaf. My date didn't realize and ordered them fully caffeinated which left me awake until about 1am. read more

Tried out Three Beans Cafe randomly. We were walking by and thought we try it out, what's not to love about coffee and cocktails. I had an espresso old fashion and "The Dude" made by Kate and Nate. Both were very attentive, friendly, and what I would consider an expert at their craft- coming from an extremely particular craft cocktail consumer. Kailey, the manager came over and greeted us to check in which is rare in a busy bar. Manuela also made sure to follow-up with my wife's coffee to ensure she liked it. Overall we enjoyed the music and the atmosphere and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great time. I never had to ask for a water refill and the bartender was super attentive and asked how we liked our drinks, even suggesting alternatives (decaf). Drinks aren't cheap but they are worth the price. I ordered an oatmilk latte and my friend an aperol spritz with espresso infused flavor. We both raved about our drinks and really ejoyed them. The spot is very well tailored to a fun library/coffee lounge with cool music and excellent bartending. The staff was friendly, social and helpful. It's a small spot so get there and claim your spot. What a fun addition to Scottsdale! The decor is amazing and makes for such an intimate ambiance. The staff was so friendly, despite being incredibly busy. My friends and I went at 6pm on a Saturday night and sat a table right as a group was leaving. There is very little seating but I think that's what adds to the ambiance. The martini was amazing - creamy but not overly sweet. Another gal in my group got the gin one but said she couldn't taste the raspberry notes but still said her drink was fantastic. The atmosphere is fun but not overwhelming and the place was full of 20-60ish year olds- perfect for anyone really. We sat closest to the area where they continually make espresso and met Manuela. She was sweet made polite conversation, and her attention to the quality of product she was making was insane. Kate one of the bartenders was awesome to watch. She handled an unruly customer who walked in a little intoxicated with respect and grace. We met Nate who greeted us as we were sitting at the bar and handed us menus and then water. Nate was friendly, attentive, and great at reading people. My husband, who rarely deviates from a traditional old fashioned saw the menu and "The Dude" cocktail. He was undecided until Nate gave him a gentle nudge. It did not disappoint. I tried the traditional 3 beans espresso martini and it was delicious. The attention to detail of each drink and cocktail here are unmatched. We watched Nate carefully craft each drink. They were all a healthy pour and aesthetically pleasing. It is a smaller space with limited seating and louder music, so hard to have a conversation with more than one person on a busy weekend. I had to order up at the bar because the place was so busy. I tried the thin mint off of the secret menu, and it wasn't for me. It was nicely presented, but the none of the flavors (even the espresso) came through for me.
