When we walked in, 7pm-ish on a Monday, and were greeted by a host who told us we could sit anywhere but asked to please order at the bar as it's a limited staff. No problem. We found a 2 top table along the wall and browsed the short menu of martinis. My date went to the bar to order. Within a few minutes the host brought out our martinis. Both were delicious. The banana bread was like a dessert, and my date enjoyed it. It's a fairly chill space with probably 10 seats at the bar and another 10 or so inside, plus a few outside bar seats. There was music playing, though I can't recall specifics as we were pretty involved in our own conversations. The chairs were very comfy and I would absolutely return. Prices are roughly $16-20 per drink. Side note for those who are caffeine sensitive like me: you can request decaf. I usually just order an Americano and then just add a splash of cream because most coffee shops over do it with the milk but THIS latte was perfectly balanced. I never had to ask for a water refill and the bartender was super attentive and asked how we liked our drinks, even suggesting alternatives (decaf). Drinks aren't cheap but they are worth the price. Wow. After needed a break in the day and cool place to sit down, we found this spot a good mix of coffee and cocktails for the group. I ordered an oatmilk latte and my friend an aperol spritz with espresso infused flavor. We both raved about our drinks and really ejoyed them. The spot is very well tailored to a fun library/coffee lounge with cool music and excellent bartending. The staff was friendly, social and helpful. It's a small spot so get there and claim your spot. What a fun addition to Scottsdale! The decor is amazing and makes for such an intimate ambiance. The staff was so friendly, despite being incredibly busy. My friends and I went at 6pm on a Saturday night and sat a table right as a group was leaving. There is very little seating but I think that's what adds to the ambiance. The martini was amazing - creamy but not overly sweet. Another gal in my group got the gin one but said she couldn't taste the raspberry notes but still said her drink was fantastic. I'm not sure if this place is better during the week, but definitely do NOT recommend coming on a weekend. When they're busy, it's difficult to order and navigate the building. For starters, they don't normally take orders if you're seated at the bar, instead there's a walk up counter on one side of the bar to place orders. However, the sign is placed way too low and it was impossible to see with how busy the place was until we were already sat on the opposite corner of the building. Walking to the other side of the bar to order was honestly a challenge because when every seat is filled, there's literally no walkway. Every time I walked through, multiple other customers would have to get up from their seats in order to get through. There should be someone taking orders at the bar or coming to the seats so not everybody is clustered up at the counter. It honestly felt like a fire hazard waiting to happen. There's only one bartender making the alcoholic drink while two other girls took orders, cleaned, and made the regular coffee drinks. However most people are ordering cocktails so the bartender was pretty swamped working by himself which created really long wait times for drinks. We were originally served the wrong drinks but decided not to say anything due to how swamped the bartender was. The drinks themselves were pretty good once they finally came out, but I've had better for way cheaper. Each drink will be about $20 but it's Scottsdale so I was expecting that. I have a feeling a lot of the positive reviews are from influencers and not actual paying customers. read more
