The merchandise is displayed nicely so you can see all of the different things available. The people at this location were very nice and friendly. They said hello as soon as I came in the door.

The packaging is always delightful. They always appreciate the local charms of Philly and nearby towns . And there's some retro charms to their fonts and designs . I'll be back again to see the more Christmasy items they will have !! Although today, I did see Christmas crackers and Cocoa! I'm delighted with my purchases today ! Very friendly staff . Welcoming ! I wanted sconces that would hold taper candles, not the electric sort that leave you having to hide the trailing cord. So I decide to run to Sweet Magnolia to replace a candle that had recently burnt out completely when, lo and behold!, there is the most gorgeous pair of gold-leafed wall sconces hanging right before my eyes! This is why I love Sweet Magnolia - you can find such elegant pieces here when you least expect it. I also appreciate that their prices don't put a huge dent in your wallet. $58 for the pair? I'll take them! The store also carries the greatest soy candles ever by Aquiesse which last a rather long time and come in several delightful fragrances. They also carry an array of other home goods - Forte teas, place settings, bath and body products, stationery, baby gifts, and jewelry. Definitely a great little shop for finding last minute gifts or a treat for yourself. I've seen similar items at other stores like Anthropologie for twice the price, so why not patronize a local entrepreneur instead?

This morning I had called the shop to inquire about a dollhouse. I spoke to a woman who stated that…read moreshe would check the price and have me call back in 30 minutes. I was so delighted that she had the house that I just headed right over to purchase it, regardless of price. When I arrived, she seemed extremely uninterested at first, but stated she would find out the price of the hous for me. After I looked at it, I had decided to purchase it, and I told her I would like to load it in the car. She became very distraught and angry Stated that she had told me to call back in 30 minutes because it would take a long time for them to prepare the house. She said that they would need to dismantle the display and it would not be ready until tonight. I told her I'd driven 40 minutes just to pick up the house and I would actually help her dismantle everything from insideif it would allow for me to get it sooner. By the way, there was only a few toys and pluses in the house. The picture is provided for everyone to see that it would only take 3 minutes to remove the items from inside! She then told me that she was very busy and I needed to calm down because she is verybusy and understaffed, and that she needs to check out everyone else in line first and I needed to step aside. She replies in a very mad way I told you to call back in 30 minutes!!!!! I reminded her kindly that she asked me to call back For the price, and I headed over because the price did not matter. I was embarrassed and humiliated, I then decided to walk away and let her check out all the other people in line. When she had done that, I came back to tell her I would help her dismantle the area for the house and I wanted to see what she could do for me. She was clearly walking past me ignoring me for a while and then she came and told me "now do you see what I just said,when we are extremely busy! She was so angry with us. I mentioned to her that she should calm down and that I would help her. Her attitude was so extremely disrespectful and aggressive and demeaning towards me. I don't even know why I bought the house, really just because I wanted to make sure I had everything assembled for Christmas for my kids. She then charged me more than what it cost to purchase the item Yes online, and the item is also marked in many areas and has some damage. I did not even complain about that. My biggest complaint is the way she treated me. It was absolutely disgusting. I work in an extremely stressful environment on a daily basis, and I have never ever talked to a single soul in this way EVER. I have spent thousands of dollars at your store, but I will never come back. I hope that everyone reads this and sees that they do not deserve to be treated this way.. Again I work in a very stressful high volume job, and have NEVER treated anyone this way Also you should have been grateful to be busy in a bad Economy, not taking it out on customers Your response shows everything. You called me entitled, yet again insulting me when I did nothing wrong. I am a kind paying customer at your store who moved aside even though I waited in line for you to check out those ten customers in a calm and patient manner. I tried to park outside your store, but a large beverage truck parked there. I told the lovely young man I would carry the house to my car on the SAME block but he said he would help me. It took 5 minutes for him to walk down the street with me, and I also thanked him and tipped him a cash gift. You can justify why you behaved so rudely to me all you want and refuse to acknowledge your behavior which is not excusable. The house DOES have damage and the price is lower on Maileg site and all websites. I have dealt with all kinds of extremely stressful situations and have NEVER treated anyone like that ever. You seem to find such behavior acceptable and this is why I will never come to your store again

Was in Manayunk this morning for a separate event and was able to stroll Main Street. A friend had…read moreheard about a nearby shop that sells Taylor Swift themed items and turned out it was Minor Details, right around the corner! The shop is small, but very cute. There are 3 stairs to enter through the front door, so please note this establishment is not wheelchair accessible. Inside, there were many local-themed items, such as Eagles and Phillies themed merch I hadn't seen elsewhere. I ended up purchasing some cute earrings as a gift. Things were reasonably priced for a niche boutique shop like this in Manayunk, though I wish their selection was bigger for pretty much everything in the store. There is a little photo area as well. In addition to Philly sports stuff, they also had candles (peep the ACOTAR candles below), Taylor Swift merch, and a decent greeting card spread.

This shop is packed with everything you could think of - jewelry, candles, journals, bath products, handbags, crystals, and clothes! So many unique pieces too, lots of one of a kind items. The business owner, Natalie, is kind and engaging and wrapped my gifts (a moss amigo and hand poured candle) carefully. I guarantee you'd be able to find a gift for anyone in this store. I know I'll certainly be back.
