I have been shopping here for 3 years now for SEPTA uniforms and I will say compared to the other…read morestores their prices are much more reasonable for the exact same brand (red cap shirts and conquer pants). Even the necessary accessories are same quality at a cheaper price. My reason for the 3 stars is service. You will run into attitudes from the employees and the occasional employee who doesn't even know the products, nor prices. Which annoys me. If you are more into service than prices I would definitely not go here. I'd recommend you try Uniform Gear at 8063 Walker St. (Walker and Welsh). They are awesome there. But if your wallet is tight, like mine, than expect less than quality service, and NO smile.

I lost a screw in the retention strap of my duty holster while working midnight to 8am. I went to…read moreuniform store immediately after my shift to address it. The first uniform store that I went to did not sell parts for the holster. And advised me that I would need to buy a completely new holster. As LE some of you are aware of what it's like to get used to a new holster. It takes a while to "break in". In the mean time, you have retrain your muscle memory to a new holster. Secondly, they no longer made my holster,so I would have to buy a new, different retention system holster. Finally,a new holster isn't cheap. They are $150, retraining, breaking in,etc. all for 1 screw I was not happy. So I went to another uniform store in hopes that I could get lucky and find my model holster. And price comparison. Again,no parts, but a new holster, newer model,$150. I finally made it to American Uniforms. When I told the guy at the counter my problem and asked if he carried this model holster,he said "No. sorry". But he reaches in a draw and pulls out the exact screw for my retention strap, tightens it in with the little Allen wrench and boom! Fixed.! I was very relieved and happy. When I tried to pay him for the time and part,he REFUSED to accept it! Ya don't see that kinda generosity or kindness anymore. He could have tried to make the $150 new holster sale. But he DIDNT !!!! That gesture alone made me a American Uniforms repeat customer. Btw... a year later, same holster, next week will be the holsters 11yr Anniversary! Excellent customer service, quality products, and competitive prices. Thank you American Uniforms.
