That was a quick and efficient threading! I went in and got out in about 5mins. I let her know that I didn't want my eyebrows to have a high arch (they naturally have high-ish arch and every other threading/ waxing place has given me thin and high arches). She was attentive and after threading, she trimmed a little and then applied rose water. Altogether $12. Parking is plenty at the back of the building. You do not need an appointment.

Last minute decision and closest place we could find with good reviews! Our experience was quick and simple. Took my husband (first timer) with me and was pleasantly surprised by the way they carefully threaded his brows. The actual location is clean, and nicely decorated. Building includes a scary elevator but overall easy to find!

Are you tired of sitting on ZOOM meetings with bushy eyebrows? If so, go see Samira at the Threading Place. Samira is the owner. She has taken all the precautionary measures to keep her clients and staff safe during this pandemic. To begin, the thread is wrapped around the neck, instead of in the mouth. This is a non-traditional, yet safer and innovative method, that yields the same results as traditional threading. They are also wearing mask, gloves and are sanitizing the chairs after each customer. Also, The prices are unbeatable. I honestly think she is under charging us, because shes so meticulous and the end results are always beautiful. The only thing that is unsafe, is that damn elevator, lol. It's so scary. I've been trapped in it before, so now I take the stairs. Give her a try (and be sure to tip her), she's there Mon-Fri. You won't be disappointed.

I can't say enough good things about Samira!! She saved my brows, I had a bad brow job done a few years ago and had been trying to grow them out for awhile, Samira was the first one to clean up my brows while leaving the spots that needed growth alone to continue to grow so they looked somewhat decent in the mean time. I've been going to her for about a year now and she still makes sure to look at the same picture of my brows (a picture of how I like them) just to make sure she remembers and can get them just right. She's also so great at discussing what you want before doing anything and she'll stop mid way to make sure you like what's going on or consult you on if you want something done a certain way. She's THE BEST !!!! In addition to her phenomenal customer service she's genuinely great at what she does, shapes your brows to your face, keeps them looking natural and super clean at the same time. I drive 45 min to see her and will continue to do so!!!

First off I came across this randomly. I really needed my eyebrows done before my nail appointment and it happened to be less than 10 mins away. My eyebrows were shaped so nice and evenly. I was hesitate because last time I got mine threaded the lady made them so thin. I made sure that she understood I want mine to main thick and just to be shaped up. Goodness she really delivered

She did SUCH A GREAT JOB! I usually get my eyebrows and upper lip done at this place in Fair Oaks Mall for $15 for both. Here, I can get the same done for $1 more but she pays the utmost attention to make sure her work is perfect. The price is perfect and they looked SO GOOD. read more

So the person who normally does my brows at another spot was out of town and I was leaving the area for a few weeks. My eyebrows looked like two wild caterpillars. Needless to say, I was getting pretty desperate to do something with my eyebrows. I did a search, on Yelp, and looked for eyebrow threading in Northern Virginia, particularly in the Falls Church, Annandale, northern Fairfax County area. Ran across good reviews for this place. I called to check pricing and hours and was immediately told, in a pleasant tone, what their hours were and the cost. I knew since it was on a weekend that I would probably need to go later in the day, if I didn't want to wait. I ended up going about 45 minutes before they closed. There was no one in there (to my immediate surprise). I told the young lady my situation and how I typically like my brows done and all of my little quirks when it comes to my face. She was very accommodating, calm, and knew exactly what I was looking for. She even stopped in between to make sure that we were on the same page with what I was requesting and what she was doing. End result? I am extremely pleased with the way that my brows turned out and I will definitely be visiting the spot again for eyebrow threading. read more

Found this shop thanks to Yelp reviews. Booking an appointment was easy- the owner was very polite and professional. After 3 months of looking like Bert from Sesame Street, this was a welcomed experience. My brows were threaded to my liking, the shop was clean and I was in and out within 15 minutes. read more

The women are not professional when it comes to problems and customers complaints. They get emotional and started bad mouthing me with another customer who did NOT know the details about my complaint. I originally called to let them know my issue, Samira spoke to me over the phone and told me to come back to see the issue herself and promised to take care of me. It was a waste of my time, I was verbally harassed by Samira, another employee and 2 customers and left upset with no resolution. read more

So close, convenient, cheap and fast! Can it get any better than that? I work two blocks away and it's really easy to just go and get my brows done. I've only been there once but it was fast and easy. There were two people in front of me, which is fine because i had just walked in, but it was super quick, I hardly waited. This threading place deserves 10 stars!! The owner is by far the sweetest person ever. You dont need to make an appointment and can just walk right in. Even if there is a wait, they make your wait so relaxing and provide chocolates and water! Very fast and very reasonably priced! I've been going for months now. Found this gem of a place after searching yelp because my eyebrows looked like little furry monsters on my face, lol. The reviews are right! Samira did a great job on my brows. She didn't rush or over thread my brows (which was one of my biggest concerns). I have some spots in one of my brows that are a little thin and she let them be to continue to fill in naturally. Her prices are in line with the market and the music and chocolates are a nice touch to her shop. Samira will be the only person to thread my brows from now on. I highly suggest giving her shop a try. read more

This place is tiny, but so worth it. Samira takes her time, and does the job right. She's gentle, and plays calming music while threading. Not to mention her cute bowl of chocolates in the lobby (who doesn't love free chocolate?). I originally found a Groupon for this place, but I think it doesn't exist anymore. Regardless of the fact that it isn't the cheapest threading place around, I go back because it's so relaxing. read more

Samira did an amazing job with my brows!! I wish I took a before and after picture to show everyone. This was my first time ever getting my brows done by someone else. I usually pluck them at home by myself because I feel like I don't have much hair in general, so I feel like it wouldn't be worth it to spend money to go get them done somewhere. However, I can never get them as sharp as I want and I was getting so tired of it! I decided to get them threaded and tinted because I wanted to try and make the front of my browns look fuller. After surveying my browns, Samira told me that I actually don't need to get them tinted since my brow hairs are already dark and it wouldn't make much of a difference at all. I really appreciated her honesty because I feel like some places would go ahead and do it just to make some money. The threading job was so perfect and I have never seen my brows look so crisp and clean. I never thought that getting my brows done would make a difference since I have little brow hair, but she worked with what I had! Now, filling in my brows every morning is so easy and takes no time at all. Thank you!! read more

Samira doesn't just clean your eyebrows, she has a vision. I've been going to her for many years and she cleans and styles around my thin spots so that I can fill them in at home. (I refuse to accept defeat, i keep hoping they will grow back one day!) I made the mistake of going to another place and they messed everything up! This was my first time getting my eyebrows threaded (I usually get them waxed) and I'm totally sold! I have pretty thick eyebrows and most places want to make them too thin, which I don't want. Minisha (not sure if my spelling is right) did mine and they look amazing. I have blonde hair so I was worried that they would be tinted too dark but she did a perfect job! By far the worst experience ever. Not only did this girl leave my eyebrows uneven. She was extremely unprofessional she even said I should've waited for Samira. Who tf says that. I told her they were uneven and she's like no that's how they are. I did not walk in with uneven eyebrows and why? Because Samira did my eyebrows last. I gave her my card to pay and the girl threw the card at me. Literally! Didn't even hand me the card. This is hands down the best threading spot I've been to since I've been threading my brows (2008). She's also the best in the the 5 different states I've lived in (TX, WA, HI, MD, VA). Literally the most detail-oriented, crisp and cleanest thread I've ever had and I am never disappointed. She's always so consistent. I've been returning to her for 2 years in the time I have lived in the DC area. I would still drive to see her if I lived an hour away. She is that good. I am definitely going to miss her sweet personality and wish her the best as she continues to grow her business. I apparently attempted to try this business some time ago, thus I receive text alert coupons. I usually only wax in warmer months, pre-vacay, or prior to my annual girls trip. Im still not a real fan due to my horrible grow back struggles with ingrown hairs. Then after a positive experience elsewhere and my friend saying "waxing with consistency" will decrease ingrowns and your hair becomes softer, finer and takes longer to grow back each time. For this reason, I have attempted to continue on a schedule. I tried to book with Ms. Annie's a few times online. My account wouldn't work, so I called to get some assistance on this day. The young lady on the phone was in a rush. I wanted her to help get my online account working properly so I would have the ability to select any available appointments slots posted, service provider, and have option to cancel/ reschedule within limits posted. Instead of helping to get my online account working, she simply booked the appointment. I called back in less than 15 minutes to request a change. She said, I'll make the change, but you'll have a $50 fee whenever you reschedule. I was mortified! That wasn't really smart. The only thing it did was solidify that I definitely will never book at this business!!! Poor customer service and vibes!! Also the online scheduling system didn't work well at all!

During service- Linh was precise and paid attention to all of my requests and concerns.(and I am the person that likes to ask ALOT of questions when it comes to these things..) She took her time to ensure the best shape & measurement for my face (even when I was her last client of the night- she was highly focused and on point with all the details. After service/after care- my eyebrows have never looked so beautiful in my entire life. *back story* I have gotten my brows microbladed many years ago- so technically this is a *cover up* service. the detail in color, shape, and shading with my new brows is completely covered & is unmatched to what Linh did for me. She then reviewed 1:1 with me a pdf. on the aftercare of my brows and insured I understood all the most important steps during my care at home. Karen is my go to lash artist, I am really sensitive to most lash glues which I told Karen at the start and she was able to work with me to find a glue that doesn't irritate my eyes. She works very meticulously and is extremely gentle whenever I get a lash fill. She makes sure I am comfortable and set up so I can take a nice nap while she works her magic! She's always working with me to increase my lash retention as well as giving me recommendations on after care such as lash shampoo brands and how to properly wash my lashes. I got my ombré powder eyebrows done by Linh and I could not be any happier! I never really thought about getting permanent make up done until I saw Linh's work. From the moment I went in to inquire about an appointment, till the end of my aftercare, she was texting me and checking up on me every step of the way. When she was mapping out my eyebrows, she was very patient with me in helping me find my desired shape and look. She helped me find a look that wasn't too dramatic and a color combo that wasn't too dark (the darkness of the brows being something I was extremely nervous about at first). During the process she was very thoughtful in trying to mitigate any discomfort I was feeling as well as informing me what exactly she was doing. Linh has also been taking care of all of my waxing needs and always makes the process quick, easy and painless. After coming here, I have constantly been getting compliments on my eyebrows and lashes and I couldn't be happier with the results!

Went to this place today for my eyebrows done. I can simply say wow!! I just went to my friend's condominium and i found out they are in the same complex. I got awesome friday treat for my eyebrows. The cost was very low compared to the other places i have been. The service was well done. This is small business, just started inside the blue opal spa. But i am very happy that i went there and recommend people to go there. The lady working there has good customer service, as well!! Really happy with my arch eyebrows!! read more

The best threading place in DC area ever. The owner is so proficient in her work that she knows how to provide the best results without any tear or harm to the skin. Despite having very thin eyebrows, she manages to give an incredible shape to my eyebrows during every single visit of mine. I am probably one if the most difficult and paticular individual when it comes to my eyebrows!! Samira is amazing at threading and she's fast. She always gets my shape perfect. I am at the point now where I can just sit in her chair and she gets it right. She will also work with you if you desire to change the shape of your brows.
