Update 9/2017: Still going to Meenu and still love it. Anju is great too. She has found a great team that will provide the same level of service she does. I have goiing to Meenu for years and have never had any complaints. She is a perfectionist. I don't see why anyone would go to Ziba. Every time I went to Ziba, they would charge me a different price for the exact same services. I always walked out feeling cheated. Meenu's prices are more than fair and worth every cent. Her new store is clean and well decorated. You can tell she put a lot of herself into it. I highly recommend Threading Lounge. You will not be disappointed. read more

So I decided to try for the first time Threading Lounge. All i can say they gave me bad i mean bad customer service the lady that was there greeted me like she didnt want to say hello. She didnt do a good job, the lady that did my eyebrows lasted about 5min and she was done, it looked the same to me it felt like my eyebrows look the same. They didnt even say thank you. The Threading Lounge opened a few weeks ago in the strip mall at the corner of Harbor and Wilson (same development as the Kmart.) The woman working there (possibly the owner?) said it's been open 5 weeks. The shop is clean and nice looking. I came in for the first time today as a walk-in and was the only person there. The woman who threaded my eyebrows was very nice and friendly. My brows look great! This was my first time having them threaded, which I had been interested to try for a long time. They look somehow cleaner than after waxing, with less pain and much, much less redness afterwards. She was fast and professional. She left my brows at the thickness I desired, but well-shaped. The price is great as well. Currently there is a special for $6, but that will go up to $8 after the special ends. Extremely reasonable. I plan to return to keep my brows in shape. read more

I went to the Threading Lounge because Meenu had such great reviews on here. I am not really sure what happened then because my eyebrows have never looked so bad. I think they would look better completely untamed than what they look like now. I will start with the little good there was first. The place is super clean and looks nice and Meenu is gentle, it really didn't hurt that bad. The bad: (some background info) I have some really great eyebrows, they are thick, have a good natural shape and up to this point, I thought they were easy to work with. After Meenu got her hands and thread on them, I have two entirely different shaped eyebrows, one is severely arched and the other is a straight line. That's not the worst of it. The one that is a straight line, half of it is missing. I kid you not. I have never had to fill in or draw on my eyebrows, for the first time in my life today I had to draw on half of one. I have now developed a phobia of getting my eyebrows done, just like going to the dentist. And I understand that eyebrows are not going to be exactly the same but mine have always been similar, even the worst they have looked they have been more similar than this. I told her she took off half of one and that they dont even look similar and she said "oh no, they look good!" uh are you blind? And she wasn't even thorough, there are still a good amount of stray of hairs on my eyebrows. I would be absolutely heartbroken if my eyebrows did not turn into hairy caterpillars every week so in another 2 weeks I will be completely back to normal but until then I get to draw on my eyebrow and look like a freak. So thank you Meenu for showing me how the other side of the eyebrow spectrum has to live. read more

This place is absolutely horrible. I went a few times always hoping they will do a better job, but it's my fault for even going back again. I let my eyebrows grow thick so I can have a nice shape and thickness to them, and guess what they did? One eyebrow is thick and arched and the other one is straight and thin...I don't want to post a picture but you can imagine how stupid I look. And they took an hour to do mine. For some reason they never know how to take the under hair out of your eyebrows? Like what are we supposed to do pay you, go home and grab tweezers, and finish your job for you? I also took my mom here and her eyebrows are horrible too (better than mine, any eyebrow or even no eyebrow is better than mine). My mom let her eyebrows grow really thick and her lady did it less than 5 minutes. FIRST she refused to do her lip because there wasn't any hair. Yes lady there is hair, k RUDE. Next one of my moms eyebrows are long and the other one looks like someone just chopped half of it off? Like really? Oh and guess what they wanted for my mom to finish her eyebrow with tweezers at home. Anyways just flat out avoid this place. My post isn't using some colorful words but if it was there would be a lot of it ! I know I helped everyone so you're welcome lol read more

If i could give 0 stars i would. I went in 3 months ago to get a heena and they told me "not today". So i went back weeks later and told me they only do it on thursdays and fridays. So i left and came back today January 13th and said only Saturdays so i told the lady in the front what she had told me prior and said "oh well sometimes fridays" and i was very upset and even said that the lady was "on vacation". Itold her to add a sign in the front so people will know instead of wasting their time at this place. So ridiculous and unprofessional! Don't waste your time! read more

I like this place the girl does a great job and I've had a bikini wax here as we'll and she was great but I feel like they have really bad attitudes. They're not rude, but I've been in to get my eyebrows threaded quite a few times and she always tells me to not do anything to my eyebrows and let them grow (duh). I don't touch my eyebrows just get them threaded only by her and every single time she's like you have to let the hair grow right here (and she points to a spot on my brows) and I tell her every single time that I don't do anything to my brows and that my hair doesn't grow there for whatever reason it just doesn't and she seems to think I go after my eyebrows with wax and tweezers and god knows what else -- but I don't. If I wanted to pluck or wax I wouldn't be paying her money to do it for me. I'm super particular about my eyebrows and I find it annoying she thinks I'm trying to sabotage them? WTF! I've been needing to go in for a while but I've been putting it off due to not wanting to hear her get all preachy at me about something I have no control over t like the exact location of hair growth. Aside from that I also got a bikini wax there once and she did a great job. The only thing is though they have a list of services with prices and a bikini wax is listed as $15 but they charged me $25 and I get waxed regularly so it's not like I had an obscene amount of hair. When I called them out on it they acted like they were trying to rip me off and said "really it says $15? I don't think so" and I pulled up their website and showed them and they were "shocked". I've been here twice now and it's the only place that I've had my eyebrows threaded. No need to ever go elsewhere because this place is awesome! The owner (can't remember her name...) is very nice and as gentle as possible. I have some crazy thick eyebrows so there is definitely some pain involved but the clean, quiet atmosphere of the place make it almost relaxing. Eyebrow wax is $8 and upper lip is $4. Highly recommended for anyone who wants clean, beautifully shaped brows. read more

I have been going to Minu for over ten years now and was so excited when she opened Threading Lounge. She does the best threading and waxing and her rates are very affordable and reasonable. She can thread the smallest even ingrown hair which most threading salons can't . Both Anju and Minu take the time to care for their customers. So many times I have seen Minu suggest to customers to wait a day or two and come back since the growth of the hair was not enough or was scattered. She cares to give good service to her customers and is an extremely honest and sincere business woman. read more

I had only been to this place once before and at the time I received fair customer service. I decided to come back for the second time this past Monday June 19 around 5pm or so and left incredibly disappointed with my very short experience here. I walked in and the girl working on a clients eyebrow.... I was not greeted or even acknowledged though I was only about 6ft away. I didn't say a word either since she seemed to be too busy talking to the client about college... She didn't even bother to ask me what service I wanted done BUT I still decided to sit and wait. 5, 10, 15 minutes and still no update or a single word mentioned to me so I decided to get up and walk out and even yet she still didn't bother to say anything or at least apologize for the wait. VERY poor customer service and I will be sure to let all my acquaintances that frequent this place about my horrible experience in this place. read more

I never recommend this place because of the poor service. I tried once for full face threading but the young lady was in hurry to finish my job and left lots of areas unthreaded. My face threading usually takes 45 mins, however, she finished in 15 mins. By the way, you have to listen Indian music, no matter you like it or not. read more

There are two girls who work here (that I've ever seen)... One younger and one older. The younger one is good, and I would give her 4-5 stars, but the older one is bad. SO Bad!!! 0-1 stars. I've had the older one once before and she just missed a lot of hairs and didn't trim then enough, not that critical, but today I got her again and she ended up taking off the tail end of ONE of my eyebrows!!! They are not symmetric and it looks like I shaved the end off. How did this even happen?? Will definitely not let her touch my face again... Not sure risking her being there is worth getting the younger one... Sad :/ read more

Came in today to just get a simple clean up and hate the way my eyebrows came out. They are so uneven now. She took WAY too much off from the top left of my eyebrow and did a crappy job at cleaning up the bottom half as well. Now one eyebrow looks so much different from the other. When I went back in after looking at my eyebrows in the car mirror, she did not even apologize but started making up excuses saying it was because my eyebrows are so different from one another??? Wth no they aren't I've gone to so many other places and I've never had this problem before. And no to mention when I went in a month ago to get them done I was told the hairs were too small and she was unable to do them. First off they were not that small and she could have easily fixed the top half of my eyebrow that needed some cleaning up desperately. Horrible service. Never coming here again and I recommend you don't either. read more
