I previously gave this place a 5 and I feel it is a 5 but today my experience was horrible. Note to self do not go in Monday or Tue. in the early opening hours. The girl that was doing eye brows off the back gave me the vibe that she did not like me. I am a pretty nice person. I told her I wanted a full face and she asked if I had an appointment? I did not, I said, to her no, sorry I have been here about 5 times and each time I have called the man has said your're fine, just come in ( there is a sign on the wall that states you need an appointment). Which is fine, their business their rule. She said she has been there for 6 months and just her because I said, usually I come in Mon or Tue. and I have not been told but no problem. She said "oh I must be trippin' then. I said, you know what I have it flipped, I come in Thurs. And Fridays. She finally stopped. Durring my service she had me hold my face but could not communicate where, just said, hold(with attitude) I asked what part of my face and should I use both hands? and she just grabbed my hand and put it where she wanted it. She was rough. She made small talk with the previous client but not me which is fine but she her offered Aloe Vera ( they always offer it to me) I had to ask her if I could please get aloe vera and that made her mad as well. Moving from the bay area, I only had one girl that I've trusted to do my brows. I was searching for a threading salon because they are not so popular around here. I was so excited to see that there was a threading salon by my house, but still I was hesitant because I've had girls rip my skin off and butcher them as well. I am so GLAD that I tried them out because Preet and Aman are the absolute BEST! I am VERY picky when it comes to my eyebrows. Ive tried other places ,( Arden mall, downtown plaza, etc ) to see if they are top notch like them , but those girls are not confident at all and always made me regret going to them. In fact, I was so pleased after the first couple times that I took my daughter to her so she could clean up her eyebrows (really beautiful full brows). I went in a few months ago and had only a 3-star visit, but returned last week based on other's 5-star reviews...and I'm so glad I did! I didn't know Meena when I walked in...in fact she was waking out as I walked in, but she stayed to do my brows. It's hard to trust such a predominate body "part" to a stranger, but Meena has me as a customer for life. I wanted a natural, thick-brow look with just some clean up and perhaps a tiny arch. By far the best place to get your eyebrows threaded. I just moved up here a few months ago and this place is better than any place I ever went to in San Diego. Although I prefer Aman (Preet's sister) over Preet, they're both pretty decent. I just like how much care Aman has on my eye brows, it doesn't hurt one bit and i've had some seriously painful threadding done. They did a fairly good job on my eyebrows. When I went, on a Monday at about 2:30pm there wasn't very many customers. They greeted me, and sat me down to thread my eyebrows right away. I recently moved from Los Angeles, so this was the first eyebrow threading place I came to in north cal. The salon is very nice and we'll kept. Didn't give them 5 stars because although they greeted me, I didn't feel as welcomed as other salons have made me feel in the past, but overall had a good experience. I went to Preet's Laguna location the first time. They did a really nice job. Since that location was bit too far for me I went to the elk Grove florin location. Omg the lady there did an absolute trashy job on my eyebrows. They all seem to be rushed. I came to find out they have a 3rd location( Stockton Blvd ), went there and the lady took her time and did my eyebrows the way I wanted.fully satisfied with this location. I did return to Preet's eg-florin location and costumer service was horrible again. To think that preet runs business in so many location, she would come and greet her costumers, but no she's always on her phone, not even a simple smile. I also visited their new location on bruceville, the lady did an ok job bruiser my eyebrows are kinda thin than I wanted to be. Overall I visited all of Preet's location and Stockton Blvd has to be my favorite one yet. Also beware that Preet does charge different rates for different costumer. I've paid $8 at the first 3 location and the bruceville one charged me $9. Sometimes they tend to say oh here's a discount for dollar of $9" when all the different location charge $8. If you're paying $9 to get your eyebrow threaded make sure to if that's really the rate because from the people I encountered that go to Preet's, they ALL pay $8. read more

I went in a week or two ago to get my eyebrows threaded by Preet. I called and she was able to meet me before work, which was awesome as I only had 2 hours to spare before work. One thing I loved about my visit is that the employees were constantly cleaning during their down time. Making sure everything was clean and neat. Wiping mirrors down, tables, and chairs, etc. I loved it. There are other places that do not clean very often, which makes it a bit hesitant, but even the person at the cash register was cleaning! My eyebrows were looking crazy, and although it did hurt a bit since it was my first time, Preet made them look normal for once. I'll be going back soon to clean them up. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would, but to write this review I had to give one star! Anyway, I had previously came in to sign a contract for non-bridal hair and makeup and originally had an appointment for 3:30pm. As my event was approaching, I received a call to move my appointment to 2:30pm and I had given the lady the details of my event and I quote her, "well, you will definitely need someone good for your hair and makeup". On the day of my appointment, I showed the makeup artist what I wanted in terms of my makeup and hair, and had also given her my high end foundation and lashes. She did NOT deliver my expectations and took over 3.5hrs for NON-BRIDAL hair and makeup only!! My makeup was blotchy in certain areas and you could not see any highlight, when I had specified what I had wanted before starting my makeup. Very minimal coverage, even after she said she had "color corrected", she used wrong brushes for my eye area, which caused me to get teary eyes and eyeliner ruined! After it was done, my eye makeup was OK (still not what I had told her and also showed a pic of) but not my face makeup, and I had already guests coming while I was barely leaving the studio. I was running late for my own event!! The lady who had rang me up at the register and I quote her, "your makeup looked better when you had previously came in" as in, when I came to sign the contract. So is this the customer service someone deserves on their special event?! I was expecting more than a 100 people for my event, yet when I went home, I had to redo my face makeup and my hair fell flat even before the event ended. For the price I paid, I was highly disappointed! I would not recommend this place to anyone! read more

Preet used to be my go to eyebrow lady since 2012 until recently. She used to be the only one that I would let touch my brows but after the recent experiences I've had with her, I'm done coming here. Whenever I book an appointment, she is late and even if I've made an appointment, I sometimes have to wait up 30mins for her which isn't cool! The last time I got my eyebrows done by her, she did it super fast and made them super thin, not to mention that she completely ruined the tail end of my eyebrows. I'm sad to say that I had a traumatizing experience coming here for my first time to get my eyebrows threaded... and I'm pretty sure it wasn't Preet who worked on my brows. All I specifically asked for was to have my brows cleaned up and to keep the shape of them. Most importantly, I told the woman to not make them thin!...What she gave me were two extremely thin uneven brows. My left eye brow is noticeably thinner than the right one. When she was finished with the whole process, she handed me a mirror and I was just shocked at how thin they were. She asked me if I wanted her to do anymore to them, but in my head I was thinking haiiillll no. She is never touching my brows again! I for some reason decided not to be confrontational so instead I said, I'll just let them grow back. I was sooo sad that I excused myself to the restroom to allow myself to laugh and cry for just a minute at how ridiculous I looked. My waxing lady warned me about this place. Preet is very nice, does a great job and really listens to what you want. She is working with me right now, in growing my eyebrows out, so each time I see her, she cleans up my eyebrows but leaves a row of hair close to the eyebrow, so it gradually grows out without looking too messy. Like what part of "don't make them thin. Just clean them up. Don't shape them" did she not understand? Clearly none of it! I'm usually too nice after a hair cut or nail appointment and lie and say "omg I love it thank you" but once I saw my brows she goes "do you like it?"
