I called several embroidery companies and everyone wanted a minimum of 20 of the item to do the work. My daughter started her own business of fitness training, personal trainer. She had a windbreaker from her other very common place of fitness and wanted me to find a patch for it. I found this place on Yelp and assumed it would have great service due to the reviews. But it turned out to be quite the contrary...2 problematic issues: 1) I dropped off a couple $50 scrub tops for custom embroidery on a Monday, and German said it would be ready by Friday or the following Monday. Ok, no problem. Monday rolls around and because there was a "busy order" over the weekend the job was not completed. I was told to come back Tuesday. I get it, busy weekend. I call back on Tuesday, and yet again, the job was not completed, and German said by Wednesday it will be finished. Wednesday the job was finally done, but there was one issue, which leads to my point #2. 2) I look at one of the scrub tops which has a left chest pocket with a zipper opening. The pocket flap on the inside of the top was stitched shut by the embroidery! I mean, come on, that's a pretty careless job (see posted pics)! That clearly demonstrates that the job was rushed to be completed and the details were overlooked. When I mentioned it to German, he merely shrugged his shoulders and said "I'm sorry bud, not sure what I can do. Maybe you can bring in another top and I can do another embroidery." I mean that's nice but what about the current garment? No offer to refund the embroidery fee or to repair the now blind-end pocket? I would've expected more responsiveness to what was clearly the mistake of the embroiderer. Customers don't like hearing excuses. As a matter of fact, nobody likes hearing excuses. If there is a bigger job that is making more money, that is totally fine, but making it seem like the customer with 2 items is put on the backburner does not typically generate more business. Also when a mistake is clearly made, actions more than just shrugging shoulders are expected. Giving 3 stars because despite all that transpired, the embroidery itself turned out pretty good. read more
