The dentist explained the treatment clearly and made sure I was comfortable throughout the visit. It's obvious they prioritize quality care, transparency, and patient comfort. This is a well-run dental practice that I would confidently recommend to anyone looking for reliable, professional dental care.

The staff are rude, they will try to upsell you on services that are not needed, and will cheat you out of your free cleaning paid for by insurance. I attempted to come here for my 6th month cleaning as paid for by insurance. I was not in a place financially where I could pay for anything else and made this clear from the beginning. They tried to tell me my teeth were so bad that I needed a special cleaning that would cost me approximately $120 out of pocket. I politely declined and requested the general cleaning my insurance pays for. I was denied and told my teeth were so bad that a general cleaning would not help. The receptionist even came in the room, and was so condescending and degrading in the way that she spoke to me that I walked out. However, because they had already taken X-rays and billed my insurance for them, I could not afford to go to another dentist as I would then have to pay for the X-rays out of pocket. Fast forward six months, after I have now not had my teeth cleaned professionally for a year, but have simply taken care of them myself the same way anyone would, I chose to go to Gentle Dental. The experience was entirely different. No one tried to upsell me anything, and I was told my teeth were in great shape. In fact, the woman who cleaned them seemed surprised it had been a year since my last cleaning and informed me that she could only find plaque around my bottom teeth that are near my salivary glands. This she told me was normal, but that it was surprising to not find any plaque even around the backs of my teeth. I left extraordinarily happy with their service. This experience confirms for me that Tortolita Dental are crooks and liars. Either my teeth truly did not need a deep cleaning in the first place, or a regular cleaning would have helped even if they were as bad as they said. Either way they lied since my teeth are in great shape, and I've not done anything special to keep them in the shape they are in. Save your time and your money and do not go here! Tl,dr: These people are crooks and liars and will try to tell you that you need services you don't, so you have to pay out of pocket.

From the time you first walk in you're greeted by his excellent staff who have always gone out of their way to not only help me but everyone else who comes in. Then I have allays had excellent service from the staff that assist with the treatment and I must apologize for not having their names because they deserve all the praise as well. To help illustrate just how impressive Dr. Sonaco is, he and the Oral Surgeon Dr. Loschiavo realized that I was in need of various help and instead of just keeping me in a state of trying to figure out how to manage such a huge undertaking on my own like is seen far too often in today's worl. DDS Sonaco from Aeris Dental came up with a plan that even took his personal time then got together with Dr. Loschiavo; my Oral Surgeon, and came up with a plan and then they both had myself and my wife actually come in and laid out their plan which was huge in helping us to better understand the situation and to navigate a path forward. I've been on this planet for a long time and I have never ever seen anything like what they did for us. Seriously, who in today's world takes the time out of their own schedules to help someone the way DDS Sonaco and Dr. Loschiavo did for me. up until now I have never even heard of that before. That's a level of professionalism and truly caring for their patients ever seen before. Many businesses talk about it but these two great people and their staffs proved it. To say they deserve a 5 Star Rating doesn't express how deep my gratitude is for the both of them and their office staff. DDS Sonaco and Dr. Loschiavo along with their staffs deserve a much greater rating than 5 stars but that's the highest the ratings go. I absolutely recommend Aeris Dental and DDS Sonac.

Patient, kind, reassuring, and a perfectionist artist in what she does (in a good way!). Wonderful working relationships with orthodontists and oral surgeons gives you total care. The hygienists are 100% snark-free and lecture-free. Office staff are kind and knowledgeable about insurance. This practice has figured out what other dental offices have not: treat people with kindness, quality, and positive encouragement and they'll keep coming back! I had a horrible experience with Dr Bunch, however. Sub-par work, zero chairside manner and made many unprofessional comments about other patients in front of me. Not interested in hearing your commentary on some rando's sinus size, doc. So just make sure you don't end up with her and you'll be good. Dr Storey and her staff are a rare find. If you're nervous because it's been a while since you've been to a dentist, or you don't floss as much as you should, don't be shy. You won't be lectured - you'll be encouraged, and that will help you build a relationship and get you on a path to dental health! But seriously, if you don't floss, it's like taking a poop and only wiping your outer butt cheeks. Go floss.

I had appointment for tooth extraction without sedation on 6/12/26. I had undergone 2 root canal (RC) treatments on the tooth with pain remaining after 2 months. My endodontist said I would need to have a 3rd RC (no guarantee of success) or get the tooth extracted (guaranteed success). I chose to have the tooth extracted and thus the appointment at Casas. I had a referral and also verbally explained to Dr. Prokes what I described above. She seemed confused and left the room to call my endodontist. She came back and said I didn't need any more RC treatments nor a tooth extraction. I was confused but of course happy to hear that, and subsequently left. Turns out Dr. Prokes did not speak to my endodontist, but to customer service who was uninformed. A week or so later, after my last antibiotic cycle had ended, the pain came raging back, and I found out that the tooth next to the originally infected tooth was now also infected. So I have to make the decision to extract them or more RC treatments on both teeth. Part of that decision is the cost of each option. I decided if I extracted the teeth, I wanted to have sedation. Casas said I had to come in again to discuss sedation with Dr. Prokes to get the cost, which I can't get. (My insurance requires provider to submit pre-estimate request to get quote, which takes minutes at most). I made an appointment for July 8, and was told I needed to get referral for the 2nd tooth before then. My dentist told me by email that he had submitted it to Casas on July 1, but Casas on July 3 still hadn't received it. Both my dentist and endodontist are out of the office this week due to the holiday, so I can't get another referral until Monday (my appointment is Wed.). To help with Dr. Prokes' confusion, I wrote a detailed history on all treatment, etc. associated with the 1st tooth and the diagnosis of the 2nd tooth. I explained I wasn't sure yet whether to extract 1, 2 or none of the teeth, but needed the cost info to decide. I got a call from Casas the next day on 7/3 saying Dr. Prokes said to cancel my appointment because I didn't have both referrals. Again I could get the 2nd one on Monday. Also, she wanted to talk to my dentist to make sure I needed the tooth/teeth extractions. This suggests I'm some kind of kook who wants teeth pulled out that don't need to be extracted. Note I have all of my teeth and am 61 years old. From Casas' website, it looks like there are at least 5 other oral surgeons at Casas. None of the others have had timely appointments open in 1 or 2 weeks....only Dr. Prokes has availability. Now I know why.....apparently nobody recommends her to others. I suggest you don't see Dr. Prokes, who doesn't seem to comprehend the English language nor care about her patients. I thinks it's likely that if Prokes had extracted the initial tooth when I went there for that purpose, the infection might not have spread into the 2nd tooth, costing me significant extra costs and substantial pain. How cruel that because of Prokes, I have to start over with RFQ with another facility, as I certainly won't ever go back to Casas. How hard would it have been to just give me a quotation for sedation, especially since I had already been to the facility? Certainly no harm would come of this. No treatment or tooth extraction was going to be performed on 7/8.....just discussion of sedation (and I've had sedation several times in my life) and finally telling me how much it would cost. I understand needing the referral, which I could have had re-sent on 7/6, and certainly well before any tooth extractions would be performed. It's just hard to fathom these stupid rules, and the incompetence and lack of empathy of Dr. Prokes.
