Still, we patiently waited around 15 minutes. We're not even upset about the wait -- it happens -- but when we got our order, the croissant wasn't even warm (which should be the minimum at any coffee shop). Even worse was the coffee: flavorless, barely warm, and closer to bland flavored water than anything resembling a proper brew. We came in with good expectations but left dissatisfied and disappointed. Definitely not the experience we were hoping for.

Vanilla filled churros are my fave and go-to flavor especially when I go to Xurro. Mobile App: I highly recommend downloading the Xurro mobile app and placing your order that way or placing your order by phone. I usually order through their mobile app to make sure my points are in my account and can get discounts on future purchases. When you order online, the allotted time they give you is it will be ready in about an hour. I usually order ahead of time so but the time I get there, it's ready with little to no wait. I'm not sure how long it takes when you place an order right then and there, especially during busy hours, but I can only imagine. Food/Drink Items: There are many delicious options to choose from although churros are their speciality, they also have coffee, ice cream, etc. I feel old school for saying this or maybe this is just an old school flavor, but I find it hard to find establishments that have Superman ice cream. Xurro, at least the location on 63rd near Midway had Superman ice cream and I love it! The only other place I know that serves Superman ice cream is Huck Finn Restaurant.
