As I had my back turned to the liquor my bookbag bumped a bottle of New Amsterdam and I turned to make sure it didn't fall and kept looking at the drinks trying to find Powerade. Next thing I hear over the intercom is "customer needs assistance in liquor aisle." I was the ONLY person in the aisle, probably the only one in the store at that time. I didn't need assistance and if they thought I was going to steal a rinky dink bottle Of New Amsterdam they thought wrong. Nobody even came to assist me if that was the case, it was just a notification to watch me! Oh how much I love being racially profiled!

I questioned it. When I bought them in BoysTown in Chicago, they were $8. Not in Champaign. I said, "Those are Chicago prices! There is no way they are that much. How much are the cheapest ones? I will take those." I had been being helped by a young man. Then I heard a female voice come over the speaker saying something very snotty about it not being Chicago prices. She would not repeat it or come to the window. I said, "I have paid that there, something isn't right with the price here. I will go elsewhere." Then the young man said, "You can get the Pall Mall's for $6.02." It did not make sense, and he gave no explanation. Had I not questioned it, I would have been overcharged by $2. How many people have they done that to? No apologies, no explanations, nothing. I will be going inside next time, if I go back, so I can see who is trying to be rude and hateful while speaking to me, and so I can physically see the prices.

I asked her if I could have extra cucumber and she said I had to pay (understandable) so I declined. Lo and behold, when I open my noodles there are no cucumber to be found. So she either didn't pay enough attention to actually listen to my question, or decided to lie to me. Imagine if I paid extra. What would I have been paying for? The noodles were alright, but service wasn't the best.

I will have my prescriptions transferred to a different pharmacy and I will no longer step foot in that store or any CVS store. This includes getting my Covid and flu shots. All I can say about my experience with them is, "wow". I asked myself how can a store be so bad?
