The owner of Marketview Lube is truly a rare kind of person--someone who lives life with honesty and integrity. I had a car emergency while in line for the car wash when my vehicle suddenly started smoking. Without hesitation, the employees and the owner rushed over, moved the cones, and guided me into the oil change center. They quickly diagnosed the problem: my coolant line had completely broken, and all of my antifreeze had leaked out. At that moment, I could have been vulnerable to being overcharged for a repair I knew nothing about. Instead, the owner went above and beyond--personally driving to Napa twice and even trying the Dodge dealership to find the right part. He was upfront about the price (around $200) and even apologized for the cost, though it was completely out of his control. His care reminded me of how my dad or grandpa would have looked after me--genuine, protective, and trustworthy. Because of his quick action, my engine was saved from what could have been devastating damage. He got me back on the road with a very reasonable bill, and I left feeling both relieved and grateful. I even tipped because I felt guilty it wasn't more for the time and effort they put into fixing my beloved Journey (or the "Ourney," since the J fell off!). All the owner asked in return was my continued business--which he now has for life. In a world where service like this is so rare, Marketview Lube is a shining example of kindness, integrity, and heart. The car washers spray the car by hand to get off any spots that won't get off through the normal wash. There are vacuums available. I have not used the mechanics there yet but I was happy with the car wash service. read more

I got the $15 wash because I just wanted to rinse some of the dirt and salt off my car. I came out of the car wash and it looked like the car had been soaped, but not rinsed. All the windows and the whole car looked like it still had soap on it. When I got home I had to wipe down the windows. I'm going to have to take it back to a different car wash to get it clean. read more

They are always friendly and even let us know if they see something that needs addressed. This time they noticed a screw sticking out of the rear tire and told us we needed to go have it repaired!! I've been here throughout covid because I was needed as were they and will continue coming for years more because they continue to be dependable and professional. read more

The staff at the pay gate was very nice and helpful, but the staff within the car wash were rude. Typically when you enter a car wash they tell you where the track is, guide you in, and tell you when to shift into neutral...they did not here and expected you to know where everything was when you couldn't see out of your windshield because they sprayed it with soap. Also prices are extremely high for what you get....will be finding another car wash location. read more

I love this place! They provide the best car wash service. I went their to get my super dirty car washed and I was so shocked and impressed to see two of their employees pre-washing cars and later the owner, Craig, personally was drying the cars for a spotless clean. They have free vacuum cleaners to clean the inside of the car. They have very affordable and best monthly car wash subscriptions. I immediately texted and called my friends and family members to get their cars washed here and check it out themselves. The customer service is excellent! Overall, they are the only car wash service that have exceeded my expectations. read more

I was driving through from out of town and noticed my oil life indicator was reading very low, even though I had recently had my oil changed. I pulled into this place early in the morning and explained the situation to the man working there. (Unfortunately I don't recall his name.) He was very helpful and kind. He checked my oil level for no charge and even looked up how to reset my oil reading on my dash. Highly recommend! read more

Average car wash for an average price. Cheapest automatic drive through wash is $8 bucks and the works is about $20. I got the add on window wash and vacuum for an extra $10 done by actual humans. So for $18 bucks the car got a decent wash. I do like that a couple guys hose your car down before you go through the automatic wash. However, no one dried my car off with a towel which was a bit of a bummer. Also, the set up is a bit odd. After your automatic wash you drive around to where they do oil changes for your vacuuming and window wash. It's fine just a bit confusing but a nice employee pointed the way. It's so hard to find a great car wash for a good price so this will do for now. read more

The person working in the lube today was so rude to me over the phone. There are way too many other car wash and lube places in town for them to think it's ok to yell at me on the phone for asking a question. After three years of going there and dealing with the low-level rudeness for years just for the free car wash, being scolded over the phone was the last straw. I took my vehicle elsewhere. read more

Went in to get an oil change in my new truck. My Grand Am has gone there and been like $27 before, so my jaw dropped when they rang me up for over $50! I know it is a biggish truck, but holy *#$@! The only redeeming feature was the "free" (haha, right) carwash, which had a surprising amount of "by hand" work throughout. Go to Triple T, I've never felt ripped off there. They have a really nice waiting room, their staff is super friendly, and at about $32 for an oil change, they give you half off all carwashing service, so you can get the full wash (including interior!) for only an extra $12 or so. read more

I live in the close proximity of this car wash. The last 3 times I have been here I spent 45$ and have had the clear coat on my Ford Mustang scratched every time. The scratches are pretty deep and I can not get them out with a simple wax by hand. The laborers doing the stick broom brush smack the edges of the brush against the clear coat. This is by far the best automatic car wash I have been to in the area (and I have been to a large majority). Disclaimer: I only get the cheapest wash because I don't want any undesirable wax/coats on my car. Having said that, the results were outstanding. The two(!!) guys manually spraying down the car spent a good couple of minutes ensuring all the bugs/debris were completely washed off. Because of this and the fact that someone towel dries your car at the end, my car looks almost as good as if I spent a lot of time hand washing! read more

Prices went up a tiny bit because they no longer offer one of the lower level lube deals but I have always had really quick service and its the best car wash I have used in town so far. The one on prospect taco-ed my front license plate with its brushes. There is an ole timer guy that works there. I don't know why but I like that. Not just punk kids working there. Scam!! The sign states oil change $29.99 and when the attendant wants to know what service you want and states 'just an oil change' and you say ' yes, just the oil changed' you don't expect it to come back with a price of $42 because they decide to to check the air pressure in the tire and do a poor job of vacuuming. Upon inquiring about the $29.99 he said they just put that sign out I'm not sure about when that is effective . If the sign is displayed the merchant should honor the price, despite the fact that the employees aren't aware of a sign that is clearly posted in several different areas! read more

Definitely the best car wash in Champaign! I love the automatic belt that moves the car. Very fast and thorough with both automatic (machine) cleaning and manual (employee) cleaning. Sloppy service and rude. Instead of removing two screws and the plastic guard under the car to access the oil plug and filter, the tech let the old oil drain over it causing used oil to pool in the crevices. I noticed a leak the next day on the garage floor. Had to drive 50 miles and take an hour and a half off work. Owner started off by saying "we're only human". This is basic stuff. If they can't do the simple stuff how can I trust them to properly tighten plugs and filter to specs? If the manager would have been a little more considerate I wouldn't be writing this but poor service and customer service should be noted. read more

I used to go to this car wash all the time, but I noticed that my rims weren't getting very clean. (I always purchased the most expensive wash $15 for the whole package) so on my next visit, I simply asked that my tires be scrubbed before entering the automatic wash. The manager yelled at me stating "we wash cars, that's what we do!" I wasn't trying to tell them how to do their job, just making a simple request. I, again, asked for the $15 wash, was charged $15 but actually received their cheapest wash which only runs $7. I didn't get the under carriage wash, wax, or rainX. I have tried to find the owners information to inform him of being ripped of, but to no avail. I now frequent the new car wash, Rainstorm Car Wash on Prospect Ave. Unless you like being yelled at, then ripped off, is suggest you take your business there. My rims always sparkle when I leave Rainstorm and I don't even have to ask! read more
