All if the workers were very pleasant ; did a great fast job! They did not try to over sell me & checked my car over very well!

I get my oil changed and recently got my tires rotated there. Everyone is very nice. They vacuumed my car which is always a disaster. The most time I have sent there was 45 minutes, they are very fast and make sure to take care of everything before you leave. read more

I went in for a routine oil change and they broke my car and are not taking responsibility. Minutes after leaving the shop my car completely died. I towed it back and they admitted to overfilling my oil but blamed it on my battery. I had gone to the mechanic a couple weeks before and received a clean bill of health. I am now having to take it to a real mechanic and obtaining legal counsel. Dakota was kind and communicative but do not trust them with your car. read more

I came here for an oil change. I can't really complain too much. They got the job done and it cost $40 for the oil change. As a tip for anyone else looking for an oil change, the Jiffy Lube people will check your car first and try to get you to do as many "repairs" as possible to your car. Most of these are overpriced so be wary of what you say yes to. There's always about 2-4 "problems" they find with my car whenever I go to a Jiffy Lube. Personally, I always pick one "problem" at random for them to fix. My car runs fine despite all the things they suggest me to fix and pay for. read more

I've had an unfortunate event occur because of getting my oil change at this Jiffy Lube. I drive a Subaru Impreza and after getting my oil change here last week, I had to get my car towed to the dealership in Savoy. Let me explain. When I got home from running a few errands with my daughter, I noticed a really bad burning chemically smell. I had my husband check it out when he came home and he noticed that they had overfilled the oil on our car. He called his friend, who used to be a Subaru mechanic at the dealership in California, and his friend said that it's harmful to drive the car overfilled with oil plus we should have it towed to the dealership here because it is common for people who change the oil on Subaru's to sometimes accidentally drain the differential front oil instead (the taps of both are right next to each other) and overfill the oil for the engine thinking it will compensate. And when that happens, that can totally ruin the car if you drive it, especially on the freeway. So we had it towed to Subaru and we called Jiffy Lube to let them know what was going on. The manager seemed pretty nice and apologetic and even went to the dealership to look at our car. It turns out that the differential fluid was not drained (thank goodness!!!) but the oil was overfilled! So the dealership drained out the oil and redid the oil change and didn't charge us. But we did get a $95 tow bill. Jiffy Lube refunded back our money from our oil change but would not help us tote the tow bill. Thus, even though the manager was nice. But still, due to their mistake, we're stuck with a $95 tow bill or you can say one heck of an expensive oil change with a load of problems! My husband had to cancel his dental appointment the next morning and miss some of work because of getting our car towed, etc. So we will not be coming back to this Jiffy Lube again. We will be going to the dealership for our oil changes from now on. It costs just the same and they know what they are doing. read more

THE GOOD: the welcoming person was very friendly, thorough, and enthusiastic. The station had a really slick system to show you the needs of your car (tire rotation, flushes, etc). $5 off with an iCard and after 3 purchases with their card its 10$ off. Low pressure situation. Magazines, coffee, snacks in the waiting room. Took 20 mins. THE BAD: Waiting room is really cold. HOW TO FIX: turn up the heat! read more

I've gotten 2 of my 3 total oil changes in CU here, and I've been as pleased as you can be with an oil change - it either works or it does not, and these have worked. Their basic oil change is $27, but they offer $3 off if you show your university ID. The first time I used the place, there were 5 cars there for 3 service spots, so I ended up waiting around 45 minutes for my car (10:00 on a Friday; I expected more like 25 minutes since they could service 3 cars at a time). The second time, I was the only car there and I was in and out in 10 minutes, which was surprising for 11:45 on any weekday. The only gripes I can think of are that although I watched them clean my car windows, there was still bird doo-doo on my windshield when they were done; also, the little windshield sticker that tells you when and at how many miles you should get your next oil change never wants to stay on the windshield in hot weather. Nice folks, good service. Minus one star for the combination of my initial 45 minute wait, bird doo-doo, and sticker trouble. read more

Great experience overall. The shift manager was extremely nice and so were the other employees. Not to mention they did a tire rotation & oil change in under 15 minutes and I couldn't believe they were done as fast as they were considering there were a couple cars already there. read more

Took my daughter's 05 Grand Prix there. A couple weeks later my drive way is full of oil. After having my mechanic look at it we found out not only did they not change the filter but they had also punctured the filter.. And that's not all.. We also took our 05 Magnum there which my husband had checked the oil 2 days prior. (Dip stick was fine) When I went to go pay I was told they couldn't check the oil because the dip stick was broke. But they hadn't broke it... but they did how ever change the oil.. didn't think it was right to change the oil with out checking the levels? We will be calling the manager later today. They lied to me telling me I needed more coolant and it would be $8 to add a quart of coolant. I declined and went and bought my own coolant to put in there because it is super easy. Turns out I was full. So now I have a bottle of coolant sitting around. Oil change seemed ok thought, but I don't support dishonesty. read more

I had a $10 coupon. I asked the price of the "signature" service and was quoted $36.95 plus sales tax. I agreed to a "high mileage" oil which was "on sale" for $41.95. I said "so it's $5 more" and the guys says yes. When I paid I was denied the sales price because I used a coupon, and a sketchy $1.50 "shop fee" brought the total with tax to $41.55. When I asked about it, the guy wanted to argue, and I just left. It's only $7, but it's enough for me not to go back. read more

I have been here 4 times now. Each oil change has taken an hour or more, which is absolutely ridiculous because they have been slow each time. Their main service guy walks around like he is going for a slow stroll in the park. No urgency AT ALL! They forgot to secure the front panel under my truck last time, and thank God I had a bungee cord with me, because I had been dragging that panel for a few hours before I noticed. PICK up the pace and stop wasting your customers time. Highly recommend that you look else ware for service. I'm never coming back! read more

Was quoted a price with a $5 discount however when I went to pay they charged me $5 for the oil filter. If I knew that was going to happen I would have taken it somewhere else. The manager did not seem to care. I go somewhere else next time which is to bad as it is a convenient location. read more

I am from Chicago and was in Champaign for the weekend. Decided to take my brand new car with 6k miles in for an oil change. 25 miles later oil light comes in and there was ZERO oil in my car. Had to call tow truck, spend another night in a hotel, and miss a day of work. Aren't they in the BUSINESS of oil changes? They need to pay my expenses and pay for a new engine if I need one. After getting a regular oil change from this Jiffy Lube, my car wont start up IN THEIR PARKING LOT!!! The staff there won't help, saying, by quote, " I have to take care of my customers." I had to get it fixed in CarX, which is fortunately next door. The staff at Carx told me that the anti-theft lock was activated. This has never happened in the lifetime of my car. So either I am extremely unluckly, where this happened by coincidence RIGHT after the oil change, or the staff at this JIFFY LUBE doesn't know how to handle the oil change (for ALERO Oldsmobile) properly and activated the anti-theft lock accidentally. In any case, it was $120 additional bucks down the drain for me to fix it and to take taxi home. read more

I've been a customer for the last two oil changes on my high mileage pick up truck. I always get great service. I went in today just needing a top off on my oil, because I still had a couple thousand miles to go before my next change. I asked if they wouldn't mind just scooting me right through the line which I typically would not do because I consider that to be rude. i would never go here again. they claim like 15 minute oil changes or something, but they were under my car for over an hour and, at one point, there were four people underneath my car pointing at things and talking heatedly. when they finally came up to tell me that it was done, i asked why it had taken so long and why there had been four people underneath my car at one point for a simple oil change and they got all defensive and denied everything, all the while trying to rush me out of the shop. read more

SCAMMERS!!! Do Not Go Here! I brought my 2006 cobalt Into this place about 2 months ago got my oil changed and was told about all the "recommended" servicing that needed to be done. of course I declined it all except for the oil change I came in for. They also stated that my license plate light was out and they could replace it for $7.50 I declined knowing that I could do that myself for 2 bucks. After paying for the services I went to autozone picked up a light for the "broken" license plate light and went to replace it. I noticed that the old one still worked but I just figured the guys at Jiffy lube didn't have the lights on the right way to check it or were just mistaken. 2months later I take my 2012 ford focus in to get a standard oil change, stood and listened to the "recommended" servicing spiel and declined again. Then he told me my license plate light was out on this car, I thought this very shady and readily declined. after an hour or so I was told my car was ready and they pulled it around front. I paid for their services and went out immediately to check to see if my license plate light was out. IT WAS NOT, I stormed in and asked the gentleman working the counter in front of another customer why he had told me that my license plate light was out. He told me he didn't remember telling me this piece of information (even though it clearly stated on my receipt -Check Lights---Light Out-). I told him I didn't appreciate someone trying to blatantly lie and steal from me and left. laughingly he chased me outside and told me to have a good day anyway! haha. Corporate was contacted and I warn anyone else to stay away from this place because they are shady, to say the least. read more
