The display of doughnuts looked incredible with so many unique and creative options it was honestly hard to choose. We tried a few different flavors and every single one was delicious. The doughnuts were soft, fresh, and perfectly made with just the right amount of sweetness. You can tell they put real care into both the flavor and presentation. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. They were helpful in explaining the different options and made the whole visit feel personal and inviting. The shop itself has a cute, local feel that makes it a great stop whether you're grabbing a quick treat or just stopping in to try something new. Everything was clean, organized, and well put together. Overall, Dough Baby Doughnuts is a must visit in La Grange. Great food, great service, and an all around fun experience. There are virtually NO preservatives in the icings or fillings here, which unfortunately does mean that the donuts won't last at room temperature. The building, Next to a tiny used car dealer (who has some real rare / minty clean 90s cars) , is in an old auto repair shop just off of the Main Street of a idilic "Small Town America" town. Kyla (the owner) and I talked all about the shop, Henry County, and the in's and out's of running such an iconic cafe. Now, please note EVERYONE at this place is awesome and friendly and make you feel at home, and everyone pulled some good espresso shots, BUT, Chelsea made the absolute BEST Iced Latte I had in the Blue Grass state. If you go, sit for a while and you'll meet and have some good talks with just about everyone that comes in. Kentucky has got some of the best and friendliest folks I've met.
