The doughnuts were soft, fresh, and perfectly made with just the right amount of sweetness. You can tell they put real care into both the flavor and presentation. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. They were helpful in explaining the different options and made the whole visit feel personal and inviting. Dough Baby Donuts in Lagrange Kentucky is located just off the main road going into downtown Lagrange. They also have a drive thru BUT I HIGHLY recommend you walking in and seeing the abundance of goodies that they have. The flavors are endless. On first visit to Dough Baby I asked a gentleman beside me what he recommended. He said he always had requests for the Maple Bacon Donut. I know I know You had me at Bacon....but, haven't you ever got really excited when you saw things called maple bacon and they taste like artificial crap or reminds you of sweet leather? Honey I am telling you Dough Baby Donuts Maple Bacon Donut is the bomb.com no joke. Other flavors I've tried are peanut butter, plain glazed and cheese danish. Picked up some donuts for National Donut Day yesterday and took them to my team at work. They were a hit! I got two dozen mixed, didn't pre order and even though they were super busy they were able to accommodate everything that I needed. Their donuts are super tasty and they have a wide verity to chose from. My box included a maple bacon, Oreo, peanut butter. And one even had sour patch kids on it, just to name a few. The cinnamon buns are to die for, oh man I want one right now just typing this. They are now offering Blue Bell Ice Cream which is one of my favorites. I haven't go in later (they are now open to 8) to get a scoop yet but I'm planning a trip very soon. Sorry I didn't get any pictures, my team got ahold of them and they were gone pretty quick! Pretty reasonably priced, the two dozen mixed with an extra cinnamon roll only cost $26. read more

Dough Baby--a godsend in La Grange. I've been here a handful of times since we moved here, and well, I keep going back. There's (usually) a nice selection--blueberry cake being my favorite. The fritters are also pretty spot on, too. The staff here is always nice and accommodating. They serve La aGrange Roasters coffee, which is cool as it's one small business supporting another. Never had a bad experience--unless you count the time I accidentally ordered one with coconut. Worth swinging by if you're out this way. just make sure you go early! read more

Today was my first time to personally be a patron of Dough Baby. I've had their donuts many times and they've always been good but I've just never had the opportunity to get some for myself. As with most donut shops it's small on the inside and they have all of their donuts on display. I got a Bourbon Fill, which is a chocolate iced donut with cream and a pecan on top and a bourbon flavored filling (naturally). It was good and almost exactly what I was expecting except the bourbon flavor in the filling was more accurate tasting than I thought it would have been which is a good thing in my opinion. I got two white fluff which are chocolate iced with, you guessed it, white fluff cream in the middle and a cinnamon roll. All of the donuts were good because they're donuts but the Bourbon Fill stood out and needed some recognition. Also, I was the first customer of a new teenage employee and he did well with his service. read more

Dough Baby is so good! In LaGrange, where we don't have a ton of local restaurants (much less breakfast ones), we are so lucky to have a family owned fresh donut shop! The owners work so hard (literally-while the rest of us sleep) to please the customers with specialty donuts for different seasons/holidays and the online pre-ordering process is so easy! My absolute favorite here is the donut holes! (Pictured below in bunches of 8). They're a GREAT deal and also delicious. Plus, they're petite and I feel less guilty when I eat a TON of them. Only downside is that sometimes they sell out before I can get there, so I definitely recommend getting up early or checking their social media to see if they've posted an update on what's left before you go. read more

Called on Easter Sunday and requested to pick up 1 dozen Easter donuts as I drove south down i71. Arrived 20 minutes later and the donuts were ready for pickup. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. They let me use a Sharpie to write on the top of the box. Took the donuts to UL nurses and it seemed like they loved the look and the taste of the donuts. I visited Dough Baby Donuts for the first time today. There was a line ,but I assume that will calm down some after they are open for some time. There is a drive through window to the right. The place was clean and had plenty of workers behind the counter. We ordered a dozen variety donuts. They had Bavarian cream, custard and all different fillings. I have always said that we needed a good doughnut shop in La Grange! I didn't realize that Dough Baby Donuts existed until I searched Yelp! I am so delighted to have this business in La Grange. I arose early on a Saturday morning to try this place out (7:00 am). I noticed a drive through but I wanted to see what they had to offer so I put on my mask and went in. I was very much surprised at the variety (since I wasn't expecting much from a small town doughnut shop.) I asked the person behind the counter if the doughnuts were fresh. I wanted to know if they made them here in the building. She said that yes, everything was made there daily. I immediately decided that I would put them to the test so I ordered a variety of doughnuts (plus milk, right?). Wow! The doughnuts were fresh and tasty. There went my diet! AmaZing Doughnuts! I cannot say enough about this place! Small family run establishment. Their Apple Fritters are highly recommended! They most definitely will not disappoint! Dough Baby Also sells fresh cheese and fruit danishes. What surprises me as well is that they serve Coffee roasters coffee available in dark roast! We were on our way back home from a bourbon trail adventure on a gray Sunday morning. The consensus was for donuts in lieu of a big Kentucky breakfast. We took a short detour off the highway at La Grange and it led to the Dough Baby Donut doorway. We were a little concerned as we noticed the choices late on a Sunday were slim but there was enough for our noble quest. A few fritters and a long John later, we thought the texture was fresh and soft with a slight crunch. In short? The fritters were perfect. The finishing touch was a freshly brewed cup of coffee which we happily waited for. Very friendly folks! It is totally worth the detour!
