Always carried 4 window A/C units up and down 2 flights of stairs because they had to be stored in the garage. After 40 years I can't carry these anymore. Talked to Mighty Mike's guy Ken at Canfield Home & Garden Show in Feb. 2025. Ken immediately had ideas of how they could add needed A/C venting and a Mitsubishi Heat Pump to solve our A/C needs. May of 2025 Mike, Ken, & Jason designed and installed our new HVAC system with a New Luxaire Furnace, Mitsubishi Heat Pump, Attic A/C Blower System, and A/C Ceiling Vents. After 12 months I can say it has been a blessing that we trusted & hired Mighty Mike and his team. This new system has kept us warmer in the winter and now cooler in the summer without fail. Now the entire house is cool in the warm months, instead of just the upstairs where the window units were. And we did not pay for more than we needed. The system we got was custom designed to be just the right size for our house. My back is bad and I am not climbing up on the roof to look". Though ok they can check it if it gets bad or next time they come. We signed up for the service contract that is like $20 a month and it cover the bi-yearly checks and is covered under the contract also gives discounts on parts and labor if work needs done. So our credit card needed to be replaced and the number changed. We have called them 3 times left messages and never got a response! We are trying to give them money and they won't call us ! Oh, and since then our chimney cap came off and was on the ground. It was rotted clean through! Guess it wasn't a roofing issue after all! If a company won't return your call when you are trying to pay them what will they do if you have a problem and need their help ?

Bad service, poor testing and training. Called about coin unit dripping water into the blower…read moreunit. Technician arrived looked at the unit and inside said I needed a 2 drain line. DID NOT even turn on the unit to see the problem! Did not check the coolant pressure to see how much charge it had. Had me turn on the unit, it ran for about 15 minutes. Had cold air at the duct and no water dripping. So he left. at 1 hour water was all over the floor and furnace unit. He did nothing and charged me $300 for 1 new drain line.

I called Thompson and Dwayne was here in 20 minutes, found the problem and had my heat on with in another 20 minutes. I had tried several other companies that advertise 24/7 service, but they wouldn't come out immediately. Enbridge was no help at all. However, Thompson Mechanical got the heat back on and all is fine. Dwayne was fast, friendly, extremely polite, knowledgeable and professional, even though he had to get out of bed and come to my home after already working over a 12 hour day! I cannot say enough for Dwayne and Thompson Mechanical! They are affordable, dependable and reliable - worth every penny!!!

It is time for the annual contract renewal and they just came and performed the annual inspection included in the contract price. This also includes running a camera for my lateral sewer line to ensure it is still clean and flowing properly. The office has always been responsive; communication impeccable so you are never left in the dark. Other work that I have done with them has been perfect.
