It was around noon and I had no idea that they would be so busy. I was greeted by Donna who asked what she could assist me with. She told me that all consultants were currently busy; however, she offered and I accepted a beeper much like a restaurant. That made me take notice listening to the consultants answering questions asked of them. I wanted help with lighting and was told that Greg was the specialist. He would probably be 20 minutes or slightly more. Well, if you have not been to this showroom, there is enough to look at before you are assigned a consultant to last hours. I would say if you don't have the time to wait for the most professional help I have ever received, call and make an appointment. I was offered rather than waiting and now I will make an appointment. You are dealing with true specialist. Greg finally was free and came over to introduce himself. He asked me how he could help me. I told him I wanted to update my dining room with a little more modern light. He asked me questions to figure out the size of a light I would need. Then he showed me pieces they have hanging. From there he showed me a few catalogs and quickly showed me a picture of an amazing chandelier. I fell in love and he said, come with me, I have it hanging. I had not expected to find something so quickly. But his taste, intent listening and ability to realize my style helped me visualize. I purchased the dining piece plus a foyer lantern that I never would have imagined would go together. They look amazing and all of my friends want to know where I bought them. My builder has now switched to using Ferguson I had to wait for help longer than anticipated, but I left knowing I had ordered the right pieces for my house. I will definitely return to Ferguson. They all were extremely nice in a very busy atmosphere. Definitely will go back with an appointment.

After a dormant winter season it was time to wake up the sprinkler system, and as seems to be typical ... there were problems. We heard about Mission Bungalow from our good Ole Pal GOOGLE, after typing in the search bar, "furniture stores near me", while sitting outside Raleigh Raw Juice Bar & Cafe, eating our sushi burrito and drinking our berry smoothie. Upon completion of our lunch, Google maps, without fail, guided us to Mission Bungalow's exact location. After walking into the store, we were immediately greeted by Mark, the owner. We let Mark know that we had been doing some minor research on bedroom sets but could not find what we wanted. After listening to us describe our style and what we wanted, he began to show us their gallery. Mark was extremely kind and patient with us, especially since our indecisiveness and ADHD was in full swing, going out of his way to make sure we had what we were looking for and explaining all the different designs and styles, especially with the different woods and stains. He was straight forward and honest with the time frame at which products are being delivered and when we would expect our new furniture. We were definitely there past closing time, and really appreciated the time Mark gave us. Mission Bungalow is true to their word.

It does seem a little strange and leaves one to wonder how in the world they are able to survive with competition from big chain stores. We've passed this place for years but in a desperate 3-year search to find the perfect lighted snowman for the yard, I made a special trip to see what they had. Upon entering, I was a bit disappointed to see a small, cramped showroom with only three tall racks packed with boxed lights. I poked around a bit before noticing a darkened area through a door that said "outdoor lights." The management must have noticed my curiosity and flipped a switch. To what did my wondering eyes should appear but a huge room filled from floor to ceiling with tons of outdoor lights. They gleamed and blinked in the most beautiful way... I could nearly hear the heavens singing above me! The owner came over and was most helpful. She walked me around the gigantic room to show their various products and was more than accommodating when I made a few special requests. They carry all sorts of holiday lights, not just Christmas! She made sure each item I purchased was working properly and took the time to plug them all in. She also had one of the storeroom guys help me load my car. Overall, an excellent experience. The prices are a little high, but I was delighted to find quality items that were nowhere to be found in the chain stores. The personal customer service can't be beat.
