I was eager to get going with an attorney and you were the first to respond and say that you could help whereas other attorneys were hesitant to work in Euless but open and waiting for my response. So I wanted to connect with you because you were first and because time is of the essence. I think I spoke with someone at your office twice and the second time she took detailed information and said she was going to call each of the cities and get back to me and then when I didn't hear back I called and followed up and no one ever called back. I used the Yelp feature where it's going to send it out to other providers as well but I specifically requested it from you first. So to accept online and then to go further and have a conversation with me and then not return my calls, not only leaves me waiting but it also leaves the other attorneys waiting because I'm not sure what's going on if you're taking it or not. And since you haven't even called me back since Tuesday and it's now Friday I'm not really sure what your argument is. Hence this review. They responded and said that they were happy to help me and then when I gave them information that was in the original inquiry about the two cities I have expired registration tickets out of they never got back to me even though I left several messages.

Maybe it was my race that threw things off in a office full of middle eastern people but I saw them greeting each other warmly with Salams while they ignored my Salam to them or made little to no effort to return it. Since that time, I have received only a handful of phone calls (1 incoming call, 6 outgoing calls, 2 answered and maybe 9 brief emails--that's it. Months have passed with little to no communication or meaningful updates about my lawsuit. I was told earlier this week that an attorney would contact me to discuss my email and concerns, but as of October 4th, I still haven't received a single follow-up. This level of disregard for communication is unacceptable and unprofessional. Bailey and Galyen seem to prioritize large settlement cases--if your case isn't a "big fish," it feels like you're pushed to the back burner and forgotten. Clients deserve consistent updates, respect, and open lines of communication. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience at all. A huge disappointment and a waste of valuable time trusting this firm to handle my case responsibly. I would not recommend them to anyone expecting professionalism or client care.

She completely understood the communication problems I had been having with the previous attorney (Matt Herzog, who I still hold is absolutely unprofessional and disrespectful), and asked if I would speak to Mr. Barber himself, the founding partner of the firmer. I said I wanted nothing to do with Matt or his nasty assistant Michelle, and they made sure that that was the case. It was a different world from then on. Mr Barber brought us into the office for an in person meeting, something Matt had never bothered to do. He was very personable, he apologized profusely for the bad service we had received with Matt, and assured us that that was not the standard by which he intends to conduct his firm. He took time to listen to our concerns, to discuss settlement options, and never questioned the veracity of my claims (unlike Matt). He was an absolute and total professional. Kris Barber was a delight to work with. He sent us both emails updating on the progress throughout, we never had to chase him down to get any information on the case. He was respectful and inclusive- it was nice to be treat as an equal instead of talked down to. In the end, Mr Barber reduced his fees to give me an even larger settlement, as another apology for Matt's bad behavior. And the settlement ended up being almost exactly the same number Matt had thought ludicrous. The settlement was nearly double what I had been told was on the high end.
