I am disappointed in Thompson Law as they were not able to take my case. They let me know about 2 months after that they would be dropping the case due to at fault driver not having any insurance, when I had told them that 2 months ago. It just felt like I was being stung along without any update during the process. It wasn't until after I had messaged them when I was nearing the end of my PT that I asked what would be the decision going forward. Very fortunate to know some personal injury attorneys in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. I recently moved back to Texas from California and now in Dallas (originally from Houston). I sat down and consulted with one of the attorneys, Rolando Quesada, about a previous accident I had and he mentioned to me everything I should have done. I made the error of handling everything myself which while I did get my vehicle repaired, was not treated of fairly. I was heading to Austin for a friends graduation last year when I was at a stop sign waiting for a clear right of way to turn onto highway 71, when the driver behind me ran into me and at the time was focused on making it to the ceremony, so told him we'll let the insurance company handle it. I would have filed a police report but the guy had a badge and gun holstered so was a little confused on what to do. Point of the story, consult with an attorney before ever speaking to the other drivers insurance, because they are not after your best interest. I've used Thompson Law twice now. My 1st experience was great. My more recent experience has been horrible. My accident was in April and I have yet to hear anything from my actual lawyer. I've only been in contact with a paralegal who never has any real updates. Basically info that is already known. Also I've been contacted by my medical doctors saying they cant get a reply back from my lawyer about needed follow up appointments. I've never had to chase behind doctors,insurance companies,and paralegals while supposedly having a lawyer. Smh read more
