I did my research before coming to Aasby so I knew what the going rate was for these parts and services, and they gave me rates that came in less than the comparable shops. After looking at my car they were straight forward with me and didn't try to "upsell" or talk me into more auto work. I felt confident that they did a great job and 100% know they didn't try and take advantage of me because I was a woman. I was also very pleased with the friendly staff. The owner thanked me for coming in and the service managers were very approachable. On my first visit they treated me like I was a loyal customer that has been there a 100 times. They will exceed your expectations in customer service. The waiting area is very clean which I appreciate after being to many shops that are greasy and unpleasant. I am very proactive and always keep my vehicles maintained and serviced on time. My father was a automotive mechanic for 40 years and I grew up in his shop. I know how the job is done properly. I've done the same job a few dozen times. I don't have time due to work so I pay you guys to do it. I'm not sure what has happen in the last year, but this shop is awful now. Very unprofessional, dishonest, negligent, and unwilling to repair their mistakes. The car was un drivable due to their mistakes after taking it back multiple times. Wow I guess they can't figure out how to drain and fill the rear diff on a nissan Xterra with out it leaking. How could a customer not lose confidence after bringing it back 3 times and then they refuse to fix their mistakes and say your no longer a customer. I will have the nissan dealer inspect the vehicle and send them the bill due to their blatant negligence. I will also be reporting them to the BBB. They had the car for over 2 MONTHS! over that time I had to call them well over 10 times just to get updates as they would never reach out to me. They finally after weeks told me that the PCU needed replaced and I approved the replacement of it. Few weeks later I reach out again and they said that now there are other electrical problems which resulted in the coils smoking really bad. Logan then told me they would not work on the car anymore and suggested I take it to pick N pull and dump it.. I said fine Ill come pick it up. Few days later I picked it up after work on a Friday in the down pouring rain with NO help from the employees instead they all left the shop after I paid them over a thousand dollars. I got it loaded and got it home in the down pouring rain. Finally was able to look over the car see what they had done. Well I was pissed to find out they had broken my windshield in 3 areas! They also had broken off the driver door lock, and a lot of mold had grown in the trunk from where water was let in! The whole car was still torn apart as well! I took photos and went back to them when I was in town next and spoke to the manager. He denied any of the damages saying "Someone might have tried to steal your wipers and that's why its broken" Are you kidding me!!! They told me it wasn't them, but happened due to the weather...????? No moisture, I keep it garaged, and frankly Springfield just doesn't get that hot and humid in January, not possible! I agreed to allow them to "fix it", brought in the next day and when I picked it up, I was in shock, they had actually made holes in the headliner and slathered some very strong smelling adhesive to the headliner, then it appears kept pressure on it for several hours. This destroyed the foam underneath, now the entire headliner needs to be replaced just to return it to how it was before I let them touch it. Unacceptable!! Just check out casenet and look at all the unhappy customers who had similar experiences.
